With a couple of assists to his name in the past seven Gameweeks, Gareth Bale is slowly slipping in the estimations of Fantasy managers. The Tottenham midfielder has dropped in price of late, down from 9.7 to 9.5 as the attacking returns all but dry up.

Perhaps it’s the pressure of the chase for third that has affected his performances. Possibly it’s been an unkind run of fixtures that have curtailed his opportunities – Harry Redknapp’s side have fallen behind Arsenal after facing (liv, NEW, ars, MUN, eve, STK, che) since Gameweek 24, in a difficult run that has produced a single victory. Even then, though, in that 5-0 win over Newcastle, Bale picked up no more than 3 points for his Fantasy owners, as Emmanuel Adebayor stole the show with a 21 point haul against the Magpies.

In today’s Members article, we take a look at our own ICT Index and analyse the Opta stats in order to ascertain just whether Bale has suffered a downturn in performance, ahead of an obliging run of fixtures for the north London outfit:

          Hopefully at least 4. Will depend on how the next few GWs go though, will likely have a Spurs player in each position minus GK and then possibly a Liverpool player too.

              Ah very nice! Is awful thinking benching Man U players though! I'm actually considering keeping and playing Rooney but it's a tough one. I'd ideally get a good number of safe DGW players but am afraid of going overboard.

              Will have to properly look at my transfers so I don't have to take crazy hits ðŸ˜

          I think Newcastle have more of a chance of getting a clean sheet this week. If its to play this week then Id say Simpson. Enrique better long term though.

      Get 11 for GW34 with 4 DGW subs, then use the 3 freebies(Inc one saved from GW34) to set up your team for GW36.

      Just hold fire and think carefully.

      Skrtel has a blank followed by a DGW. Does he justify a place on your bench for 34? I think he does ahead of your other GW36 doublers that currently reside in your team.

          Ah, I had him for weeeeeeks. Finally binned him for Mignolet last week and it felt good.

          I fell for the Lindegaard/Sorensen masterplan combo with my WC, just a fornight later it fell apart.

      Well currently, you can put out 10 in GW34, that's good.

      I'd drop one of Reina or Skrtel and drop Osman.

      Swap one for a non DGW player, maybe Skrtel to Verm, and Osman to a different DGWer like Lennon if he has any form/fitness,

      Depends. May as well save the transfer, particularly as he plays 34. Blackburn always score and you can at least watch MNF not worrying everytime he nears the box.

      potentially, for two reasons:

      - it's QPR
      - Arsenal just scored two goals and won a game without RVP being involved in the goals. Perhaps he can feel he can trust the rest of the team?
