The Fantasy Premier League community is now full of questions concerning one man: Harry Kane (£12.5m).

The Tottenham forward was taken off with a serious-looking injury in Tuesday night’s Champions League win over Manchester City.

He had become the staple of many a Wildcard draft in recent days, but is now unlikely to play in Double Gameweek 34.

That has left Fantasy managers wondering what to do with the spare cash.

Thankfully, we’ve assembled another panel for you to consult in Question Time.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Simon March – Fantasy Premier League champion in 2014/15 and regular guest on the FPL Show.

Ben McNair – One of Australia’s finest Fantasy minds, with four finishes inside the top 5k.

Holly Shand – Founder of Fantasy Football Community and regular guest on the FPL Show.

    Thoughts on the WC guys?

    Ryan (Foster)
    TAA Duffy Vertonghen (Doherty)(Valery)
    Mane Son Jota Eriksen (JWP)
    Vardy Laca Aguero

    Vardy >> Jiminez for DGW35

So in the 4 games Llorente started when Kane was out he managed an average of 75 mins and got himself:

    1 goal
    3 assists
1 own goal (but how often do they happen)

At 5.1m, that is amazing value

But that's while Son was away too, when Son was back from Asia cup he didn't always play with Son filling in up top.

    WC Active:

    Ryan | Foster
    Robertson | Kolasinac | Valery | Bednarek | Bennett
    Salah | Sterling | Son | Ward-Prowse | Camarasa
    Aguero | Lacazette | Jimenez

Ryan & Camarasa DGW this week, Camarasa > Hughes next week then Bench Boost with 13 DGW players + Robertson & Salah

    Look good, any changes needed?

pretty happy with WC... . not going full double game week players as the season doesn't end there. What do people think? thinking of transferring Vardy out next week

    Ryan

I don't really like double Pool defence because:
      A) they've not been as solid recently
      B) it hamstrings you for GW36 when I think everyone will want an extra Pool attacker.

He’s not one dimensional. Pep has praised his brilliance this season, however, he also takes issue with his attitude and ability to go missing in games. Provides speed, power, assist potential and free kicks.

He's not Pep type player that's what i think.

That's why he keeps him out for so many games.

Even Mahrej is better suited to his style.
            That's what I feel though.

Hm maybe not a Pep type player in that sense but he's a top player for sure. I think he's better than Sterling to be honest - while Sterling is fantastic he is the beneficiary of Pep's system.

On a WC. Team for GW 34.

    Ryan.
    Duffy. Kolasinac. Dunk.
    Sterling. KdB. Son. Eriksen.
    Aguero. Vardy. Jimenez.
    Gunn. Valery. TAA. CHO.

    For GW 35 for a - 8, I could do the following.

    Sterling/KdB to Salah/Hazard/Mane
    Vardy to Deeney/Firmino/Laca/Rashford
    CHO to JWP

    Your thoughts are appreciated!

I’m squarely prioritizing nailedness- based on that...thoughts...?

    Lloris, Foster
    Laporte, Robbo, Tripp, Duffy, Valery
    Salah, Son, Ericksen, Delefou, Højbjerg
    Laca, Jimi, Deeney

    Almost bottomed. Cheeky RP

I think I am down to these two choices (maybe )

    A)
    LLORIS, Foster
    ROBBO, Laporte, Duffy, DUNK, Valery
    Salah, Eriksen, Son, Jota, JWP
    Aguero, Jimi, MURRAY

    Murray > Deeney for BB35
Spurs mid > Mané for GW36

    B)
    RYAN, Foster
    TAA, Laporte, Duffy, BOLY, Valery
    Salah, Eriksen, Son, Jota, JWP
    Aguero, Jimi, VARDY

    Vardy > Deeney for BB35
Spurs mid > Mané for GW36

In both options Salah could obviously be Sterling but just nervous re obvious rotation.

    Thoughts appreciated!

Is Agüero and Sterling jointly essential now? The logic behind the question is, if we accept that Kanexit limits potentially explosive DGW players to Agüero and Sterling, does that mean that we now have to acquire both and a "Kane + Sterling no Agu but other City options such as a double defence or KDB/Sane" strategy no longer works. Are we now forced into the template?

    1. Goat

      Aguero and KDB for me

I’m considering losing one of them. They are explosive no doubts, but what’s the chance that one or both just play one game during the DGW. And hardly easy fixtures either.

And one or both might even be rested for CPL this week too.

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

My pre-Kanexit idea was Sterling-KDB-Ederson or Laporte. Now I feel I cannot do away with Agüero and then Agu/Sterling/KDB becomes frightening. I also believe in KDB but avoding Sterling; is that really possible. I guess I will have to calculate.

KDB situation reminds me a bit of the Pogba post-Mou.
His season has been tough so far, he has not weighted as much as we wanted and it looks like he is very eager to push his team up for the run in. I think we could see a great KDB in the next weeks.

No Man City Cover and no wildcard.
    Wilson -> Aguero for -4
    Fraser > Sterling for -4
Keep Wilson & Fraser for GW34?
