Lacazette and Kolasinac benched as Deulofeu absent

A number of Fantasy Premier League options have missed out on places in the starting line-ups of Watford vs Arsenal.

Alexandre Lacazette (£9.4m) has been named on the bench with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.9m) leading the line on his own.

Alex Iwobi (£5.4m), Aaron Ramsey (£7.1m) and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£6.7m) are the attacking midfielders behind him.

Also among the substitutes for Arsenal is Sead Kolasinac (£5.0m), with Nacho Monreal (£5.4m) handed the left-back berth.

Making his first start of the season at centre-back is Konstantinos Mavropanos (£4.7m).

Whether he will be able to help the Gunners to a first Premier League clean sheet on the road in 2018/19 remains to be seen.

Troy Deeney (£5.9m) might fancy his chances against the inexperienced defender, as he makes his 12th start in Watford’s last 13 league matches.

However, he is not joined by Gerard Deulofeu (£5.6m) in the side, the Spanish midfielder entirely as he deals with an ankle problem picked up in the FA Cup final.

Andre Gray (£5.9m) comes in first start since Gameweek 30.

Watford XI: Foster; Janmaat, Kabasele, Cathcart, Masina; Kiko Femenía, Capoue, Doucouré; Hughes; Deeney, Gray.

Arsenal XI: Leno; Mustafi, Koscielny, Mavropanos, Monreal; Torreira, Xhaka; Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Iwobi; Aubameyang.

Was going to go for Deeney as my Vardy replacement.

Is Vardy > Bobby a good alternative move this week?

I’d consider rolling your FT and reassessing after gw35. 2 FTs is better than one and if Vardy scores, Arsenal at home won’t look so bad.

Brought in Deeney for the first time on wildcard, gets his first red of the season

Could be argued that it wouldn’t have looked as bad if Torreira wasn’t so damn short 😆 a regular sized bloke and it would have been against his chest!

Regardless it’s a harsh red card. Wasn’t even a straight up elbow to the face

Love how you rationalised the harmful intent by saying the bloke on the receiving end was “a bit too short”.

      Alternative bench boost times

The only semi good game for Brighton is 36 at home to Newcastle.

However wolves and watford face off against each other that week

However saints at home to Bournemouth

That could be a ok option for the WC budgets we got in.

If I rolled a transfer this would be my 35 team which leaves 2 transfers with 36 BB in mind.

          Foster
          TAA, Robbo, Doherty, Vert
          Sterling, Eriksen, Son, Jota
          Kun, Jim

I’m personally Bench boosting in GW37
WC is being used after the doubles is over.

The fixtures in 36 to 38 looks very juicy. And much better than the doubles. Plus we will know better who is nailed and who still are rotation risk - as the champion league/Europa results will reveal who teams to go for

Watford vs wolves will probably be good for attacking assets I could see that being a 3-3 thriller. Wolves will be up for it after the fa cup. Gw36 looks good if you fancy TC gw35
