We’ve been here before. Seven days ago we were waxing lyrical about the efforts of Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa – a week later, we’re at it again having seen both combine to unravel a hapless Liverpool.

Cisse’s brace took him to seven in as many games, while at the Lane, Emmanuel Adebayor confirmed himself as a rival for a slot in our squads, as he returned to goalscoring form.

      Yes, I agree, but he's bad mouthed regularly on this site. I think he's a very effective player - the best of his type in the premier league and most definitely the best of his type who's English. The right choice for captain too. Fairly usefuless for FFL though.
      Btw, I wouldn't even pick Gerrard or Lampard for the Euro squad ...... time to start rebuilding the England team, so even Parker is relatively short term. Discuss.

      Adebayor has stiffer competition(VDV) than Holt did for his 3 though. Needless to say, i still think he'll get the maximum.

    I need Evans to keep a clean/score as I made a bet with my colleague that I wouldn't captain RVP/Rooney for a substantial wad of cash...my bench has saved me so far (sigg+simpson coming on)

      well..I'm on 32 pre bonus, he'll be on 35 prebonus

      he's bound to get dempsey 3 point bonus

      I may get an extra bonus for captaining Bale

      So it will be very close...minimum is Evans to get a cs without card...it may be a 1 point difference

    I am tired of doing pretty mediocre of the last few weeks so I've decided to take a big punt on next week... Torres in for RVP and captain him against Wigan...insanity? I'll lose .2 on RVP but I reckon it could be worth it for one big punt
