We’ve been here before. Seven days ago we were waxing lyrical about the efforts of Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa – a week later, we’re at it again having seen both combine to unravel a hapless Liverpool.

Cisse’s brace took him to seven in as many games, while at the Lane, Emmanuel Adebayor confirmed himself as a rival for a slot in our squads, as he returned to goalscoring form.

Our members can now drown in the numbers from today’s games and read on for our guide to the key statistics on show in the Gameweek thus far, along with our take on the destination of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          Prefer Ade over Sturridge, may even have Bale VDV Ade. Sturridge could be a clever choice though if he is not used in the Champs League Semis (if they get there), unlike Mata who has a big possibility of being rested for QPR, ars Champs QPR NEW liv/FA Cup would mean a lot of rotation and QPR is the prime candidate to rest key players.

    Finding it really tough to pick Doublers for 36 when the likes of Siggy, Caulker and Turner, Sess play Wolves and Bolton. Is it worth picking Doublers ahead of these?

    Krul
    Skrtel Caulker Turner
    Bale VDV/Dempsey Sess Siggy
    RVP Ade Cisse

      Rooney's a must have in my opinion. Cisse or Ade have to make way for Rooney if you can find the money. It's time to drop Dempsey soon and pick up Walcott. At least after Fulham play Bolton this coming week.

        Not sure about that. Rooney has City, which if they do win, could wrap the title up, whilst Swansea at home is not an easy fixture as Spurs have just shown. Sunderland away won't be easy either.

        Dempsey is a curveball and worth a bench spot in 34.

        Forget his double, look at those home games.

        Now that I take a look at your team...what, is that 6 DGWs? Yeah....that should be enough. Besides the Spurs boys and maybe Cisse/Barfa, there aren'y many good offensive doublers one would want.

        Gives me comfort for the 'sideways' Dyer>Siggy move I have to make this week.

        how's your champions league matchup looking this week? hopefully you didn't have to resort to questionable methods such as paying off raylor not to play in order to win ;).....

        if you are still in the champions league i'd def focus on gw 34 as that could be crucial to a two legged tie cuz doing well there would give you a huge advantage goingn into the second leg. versus if you prepare for the dgw and aren't so prepared for 34 you could get knocked out before the dgw even happens....

        however i think it really depends which two players you are comparing for the two weeks. for example, kompany vs bae. i think i'd take bae as he has two great fixtures in the dgw and kompany will be playing united... hope that makes sense

          I have a six point lead on Ballacks, and I have evans to play and he doesnt: so unless bonus is ridiculous, I should have beat him.

          lol no, I didn't need Raylor. I could use Siggy just going two damn gameweeks without slaughtering me, though

          I'll only have 10 for GW 34 no matter what now that I am getting Siggy, but I'm really not too worried about it. Only other thing it means is that I'll only have 6 dgwers, 7 if I take a hit, which I am starting to doubt.

          Gotta find out if that Everton fixture is gonna move, is all.

            yeah you should be through then! would be a different story if raylor had actually played though... haha sorry im never going to be able to let that go. if that was the case i think our group would all be level at 3-3 and it would've been down to goal difference between you and b2bb.

            hahaha just checkin... ohhh. nahh i rather like siggy's recent performances :D. why haven't you gotten him in yet?

            i gotcha. that sounds like a pretty strong plan to me. only 6 dgwers? donn't you think thats enough!? who else would you be looking to bring in then??

      looks like i just nicked you on home advantage this time around mate. hope you still go through though! must be rough having benched simpson and siggy for skrtel and suarez...

      honestly i think i'll be looking for 2-3 spurs, 2-3 newcaslte and MAYBE one or two fulham and/or possibly 1 pool if i keep enrique....

      i'd say what you have looks pretty good. maybe get either simpson or hba but if not you should be fine too. if you go with demnpsey then try to draft in bae i'd say. but i think what you've got now looks pretty good!

            That would be staggering if Ade didn't get involved. I would also be surprised if Dempsey got nothing, which is another problem for you. Simpson also always has an outside chance when Newcastle keep a cleanie.

            But yes, that would see me out for sure. I don't see Bale getting any, to be honest.

    This week I need to swap one of my players that won't play in GW34 and next week I need to get out another one so that I can field 11 players for that GW. For this next GW I have been thinking of:
    1. Ba ->Balo
    2. Ba->Bendtner
    3.Skrtel->Kompany
    4.Skrtel->Gibbs
    5.Dempsey->Walcott
    6. Save transfer this week and use 2 next week

    What do you think? Any others I could do? My team is:
    Vorm, Mig
    Skrtel, Evans, Williamson, Caulker, Vermaelen
    Dempsey, Bale, Valencia, Siggy, McClean
    Ba, RVP, Rooney

    2.6M in the bank. Thanks!

      1. Ba ->Balo - No. Arsenal away is a tough game. Plus who knows if he'll start with Aguero and Tevez around.
      2. Ba->Bendtner. Bendtnar is never a must have. Sunderland are playing well but you can do without him. Ba away versus Swansea isn't terrible.
      3.Skrtel->Kompany - Arsenal away. Not keeping a CS this week.
      4.Skrtel->Gibbs - Skrtel has a decent chance of a CS at home vs Villa this week. Gibbs has almost no chance vs City.
      5.Dempsey->Walcott - bolton away is a good fixture. Wait a week to do this transfer IMO. That's what I'm doing.
      6. Save transfer this week and use 2 next week. This is the better than any of the above options IMO. Torres could be a decent punt vs Wigan this week but it doesn't look like you can afford him.

          But Chelsea have a blank in GW34 so if I got him in I'd have to take a 4 point hit to be able to field 11 players in GW34 so I think saving a transfer seems to be the best option

    The little blurb at the bottom of the page concerning Ballotelli, Dzeko and Tevez. If I was Ballo or Dzeko I'd feel utterly worthless after the effort they've put in this season. Then after one game have a team mate who went on a jolly for 6 months be preferred than you.
    Mancini may be straight talking but his man management seem's a little off, in the public eye at least.

      Sure Dzeko wants to leave from what I've heard, don't blame him. Then Mancini comes out saying how he can't "trust" Ballo at all. Yet he can trust Tevez after saying he'll never play for them again? Utter twat.

    Dempsey has scored a 7, 9 and 11 in away games this season in addition to 13 against Bolton the last time round. Plus he is on the back of a 10 this week.

    Surely he is worth considering in the starting Xl this week?

        They don't have to play the ball up to the big striker so i'm sure they will find another way to play through Bolton. Pace in wide areas and lots of creativity from Dembele.

      Don't bench RVP it's craziness. Remember he's on all set pieces; City can mark him out of the game but he'll still get chances of points from every FK, corner and penalty.

      I NEVER bench set-piece hoggers, even when they're average players in poor teams, let alone when they're world class players in good teams whose whole philosophy is to supply him.

    Current team and how I intend to set up for GW32. I wanna bring Walcott in due to his form, fixtures and him having a fixture GW34. Should I bring him in now though or leave it a week? Dempsey would be the one out, but after his performance vs Norwich and although he's away (Fulham poor away from home) its vs Bolton so he could still do damage. What do you think?
