We’ve been here before. Seven days ago we were waxing lyrical about the efforts of Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa – a week later, we’re at it again having seen both combine to unravel a hapless Liverpool.

Cisse’s brace took him to seven in as many games, while at the Lane, Emmanuel Adebayor confirmed himself as a rival for a slot in our squads, as he returned to goalscoring form.

Our members can now drown in the numbers from today’s games and read on for our guide to the key statistics on show in the Gameweek thus far, along with our take on the destination of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I can't understand why so many people are bringing in Cisse now. Nearly 40,000 NTI.

I think he'll probably be drawing a blank in Wales, could do damage against BOL the week after, but then blank in 34. Surely, bringing him for GW35/36 is the percentage move?

But on a serious note the man has look like a real good finisher and it is hard to ignore his form. He's basically Ba before he went to the ACON and those who didn't have Ba during that time suffered greatly.

    KRUL, BEGOVIC

    Richards, Evans, Rangel, CAHILL, KELLY
    Valencia, Siggy, Surman, DEMPSEY, BALE
    Rvp, Rooney, ADEBAYOR

So I have a slight problem in that I need more players for GW34

I have done Ba > Ade already GW32

GW33 Dempsey > Walcott (like everyone else)
    GW34 ?
    GW35 Surman > Bolton player
    GW36 ?

Any ideas what I can do for the GW34 transfer so that I can have an extra player? Lets assume the Everton Stoke game will be shifted to GW36

Due to the problems of having a strong squad, i'm probably going to have to break up my dynamic duo and bench one of either barfa or Dave away to swansea. But I would feel bad doing it seeing as they have single handedly turned my season around. Other options would be siggie at home, and dempsey away at bolton. Hmmmmmm. Actually, putting it like that, I might be better off benching homer dempsey? Thoughts?

I have watched a few and the rest on MOTD. I know its mostly down to the small sample and isn't actually true but a few on here seem to think it holds water. If you're having problems benching someone I guess its as good a reason as any.

From ther being few options for the 3rd striker spot to being a multitude of options now. Happy with how the season is shaping up as a Man u fan and will prob go the rest of the season with no Man City players which makes me happy.

DVD for the DGW with bale and Ade could be soooo tasty if you can swing the funds.

Can't really be a 'big' group with this whole GW 34 going. For example, a lot of people will get rid of Dempsey this week or next, and bring in Sess. A lot will also be getting rid of Valencia AFTER GW 34, as well.

Plenty have gotten rid, or will be getting rid of, Dempsey soon.
Walcott has good fixtures until the end
Sigurdsson is a machine but his last 2 aren't great.
Bale will probably be the only one there that mostly everyone will have IMO.
By the way, we all said this in January when everyone had Sessegnon/Silva/Dempsey/Valencia/Bale.
Then Sessegnon got red carded, Silva turned shit and Sigurdsson came along.
Things will change, there is still 7 weeks left with blanks and DGW's in the middle...

True, so for GW32 would you do:

        Dempsey->Walcott (has a game in GW32)

        or

        Ba->Bendtner (ditto)

Alternatively, I could just do the first one and then do Ba->Ade after GW34

depends if you fancy the combo of bendy vs spurs and dempsey vs bolton away or ba vs swans and walcott vs city more.

i might even suggest doing both over the next two weeks depending how many players you will have for gw 34. another possibility is graham instead of bendy. and he has great fixtures gw 33-36 and then bad ones for the last two weeks

Dempsey owners - are you all getting rid in GW32/33 or keeping hold for WIG in GW35 and the DGW in GW36? Starting to think I may show some faith and keep him... this plan look ok?

GW32: Shotton -> a 4.8m or cheaper defender who plays in GW34 (probably Turner)
GW33: Surman & Suarez -> Bale & Graham (both free)
    GW34: Save the transfer
GW35: Turner -> A Villa or Bolton defender for the DGW (Warnock?)
GW36: Kompany, Valencia & Rooney -> Baines, Mata & Adebayor (4 point hit)

    Migs, Bogdan
    JEvans, Kompany, Skrtel, Caulker, Shotton
    Dempsey, Walcott, Valencia, Siggy, Surman
    RVP, Rooney, Suarez

        Are they that tough though?

GW32: bol (very very leaky, could score well)
GW33: CHE (again, CHE conceeding goals right now and his home form is easily good enough to start him here)
        GW34: Bench
GW35: WIG (prime fixture - expecting big returns)
GW36: eve, liv (admitedly these are tough fixtures)

I know he looked alright vs United, but Fulham haven't travelled well for years.

bol will concede, but Demps is poor on the road.

Iadmit he could be good for the chelsea one, and I will be keeping for that, but I'm getting rid for his blank week, mostly because I'll already have to bench bale and ryo.

But I guess since you have niether, you may as well keep.

If agger is back, Enrique easily.

If not, Verm. Honestly, Agger in the liverpool team makes them the best defense in the league.

        Kaboul (asv FUL) Great fixtures
        Bale (asv FUL) Great fixtures

        Baines (wol NEW) Great fixtures

Skrtel (CHE swa) If agger is back, those fixtures are fine

Miyaichi (sun WBA) not great, but not necessarily poor
        Bogdan (sun WBA) see above

        Barfa (MCY evr)
Simpson (MCY evr) ok, so these are bad fixtures....but I can easily bench him for the last two games of the year

Siggy will tear Wolves a new one in GW36. If it wasn't for Friedel's amazing save he'd have scored a brace today. Honestly I can't see any cheap replacement outscoring him in GW36 even if they have two fixtures.

Alright I understand Agger is a decent player, but so many people on here seem to think him coming back means immediate improvement.
They're off form, it's not a matter of Agger coming back to save the day, their midfield has been awful and Enrique/Skrtel aren't on form.
We all said this about Kompany too - and look what happened..

I don't think Liverpool will improve: I think theyre defense will improve.

People act like recent Liverpool is a new thing: guys, they have been shit all year. This 'off form' has been the norm all year. What, did we think the 3-0 win over everton's second team meant something? Despite the poor form all year, their defense, however, has been very good, and will be again when Agger is back, imo. Carragher is 90% at fault for the defending, that one horrible QPR winner aside.

i would still have evans if that counts for anything. and i could keep valencia and sell sess then. like i said, i like sess better for gw 36 but i could just bench valencia and play him the last two gameweeks. does that sound better?
