We’ve been here before. Seven days ago we were waxing lyrical about the efforts of Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa – a week later, we’re at it again having seen both combine to unravel a hapless Liverpool.

Cisse’s brace took him to seven in as many games, while at the Lane, Emmanuel Adebayor confirmed himself as a rival for a slot in our squads, as he returned to goalscoring form.

Our members can now drown in the numbers from today’s games and read on for our guide to the key statistics on show in the Gameweek thus far, along with our take on the destination of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So who does everyone think will be the highest scoring player in the DGW?

I've been beaten. Before today it was Reina and 7 points vs Ciise and Krul.
I can still go through though if JK beats Dudu. It comes down to Yakubu, Rooney and 10 points for JK vs Valencia, Rooney(C) for Dudu to see who goes through in the group.

    2 questions:

    1) Most important to bring in for GW33, Bale or Adebayor?
    2) Ivanovic - nailed on to start both games in GW36?

    GW 32 Team:

    Vorm

    Cahill - Verm - Evans

    Sigg - Bale - Walcott - Valencia

    Cisse - RVP - Rooney

Bench: Bogdan - Sess - Caulker - Simpson

    Does my bench look right?

    Can't decide which is better:

    10 players in GW34 & 8 DGWers

    OR

    11 players in GW34 & 7 DGWers...

The players in question would either be Cisse (who I'd get from GW33 for Suarez) and Bendtner (who I'd get in GW34 for Suarez)... the only problem it leaves me with is Suarez for another week away to Blackburn, if I brought Cisse in I'd get him for Stoke at home...

I have to decide if Bendy will get more points from (WOL BOL) than Cisse will from (wig che)... looking at that, I'd say he had a good chance to...

Looks like 7 could be my lucky number...

I forgot to mention, if I have Cisse I will have absolutely no clue who to bench in GW35... whereas if I have Bendy, I don't mind benching him away to Villa...

But you are right, Cisse could knock a few past Bolton and make up for any lost points to Bendy over those other 2 weeks...

        Quite a quandary... 😕

You do get one more game out of your players for the first strategy though, although the games in GW34 do look a lot better for points then in GW36.

Your missing the players who will still play one game in GW36...

So 3 for the first one and 4 for the last one...

      11 players first surely.

My reasoning: GW36 is much farther and a lot can happen, which might make your prematurely obtained DGW players less useful. GW34 is more predictable on the other hand.

Good point Elnino, all the planning in the world can't get around an injury to one of your DGW players...

It's hard to stick to your planning when I'm seeing Cisse knocking in the goals for fun...

Exactly, and you would more than likely make the 4 points back at the very least if it was the right transfer...

All this planning is just to see if I can get the ideal team without any hits... but compromises have to be made, it seems...

I have a funny feeling they'll just leave the assist with HBA.
Last time this happened (RVP) they corrected it after 5-10 minutes, and as they said with the Rooney vs Bolton one, they initially said Rooney and there was no conclusive evidence that it wasn't a Rooney assist.
Just my thoughts though, we will find out eventually.
I think it should go to Ba but won't be surprised if they don't give it.

There was conclusive evidence with Rooney too, I meant FPL said there was none..
Now doubt they've sold him so they don't want him getting any points.

Rooney wasn't quite conclusive. The very fact that people were arguing over it supports this.

Anyone who watched this 2nd goal would say HBA didn't touch it. Very conclusive imo.

I'm not debating the assist itself, I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if FPL kept it with HBA.

Pretty short on ideas for transfer(s) this week. Currently looking at Shotton -> Kaboul (I'll be benching him this week) 😕 Anything better?

    Migs (TOT)
Skrtel (AVL), Caulker (NEW), JEvans (QPR)
Dempsey (bol), Walcott (MCY), Valencia (QPR), Siggy (NEW)
RVP (MCY), Rooney (QPR), Suarez (AVL)

Bogdan (FUL), Surman (EVE), Kaboul (sun), Kompany (ars)

Only for AVL at home then he is 100% gone in GW33. Players I'd want in would be Ade or P Cisse, and I don't fancy much for either this week.

Blank GW players are in capitals

    BEGOVIC, KRUL

    Richards, Evans, Rangel, KELLY, CAHILL
    Valencia, Siggy, Surman, DEMPSEY, BALE
    Rvp, Rooney, ADEBAYOR

    GW32 Ba > Ade
    GW33 Dempsey > Walcott/Sess/?
    GW34 ?
    GW35 Surman > Bolton player
    GW36 Richards > BAE?

After a poor display and a kneejerk transfer my team is in need of Docter Deadzone. What does the deadzone prescribe for this team. I am in need of more GW34 players as the team looks a bit sick for that game week.

I think you should focus on getting a keeper locked down for GW34...

Vorm/Mignolet have great fixtures and rotate perfectly with Krul...

If Stoke-Everton is off, you'll have only 9 players in gw34 Ryan.

Have you considered Bendy? Sunderland are flowing in attack with the return of Sess. Allows you to get Walc for Wolves as well.

Thoughts on my team for GW32. I'm going to do Reina to Vorm for my FT so I have a keeper for GW34 and for the rest of the season after that.

    Vorm(NEW)
    Kompany(ars), Skrtel(ARS), Evans(QPR)
    Valencia(QPR), Dempsey(bol), Bale(sun), Siggy(NEW)
    RVP(MCI), Rooney(QPR), Jelavic(nor)

    Subs: Sorensen, Moses, Kelly, Williamson

I saw the game last night and just read this on BBC Report

"The Reds went further behind when Ben Arfa linked with Ba and, despite the Frenchman failing to make contact with the return ball, Cisse tucked in at the back post. "

Surely Ba gets the assist! My two main rivals don't have Ba and have Ben Arfa so it would be a swing of 6 points! 🙂

Yea, Im just banking on Arsenal and Swans both scoring, which wipes hopes of Kompany and Williamson CS. Also, toon havent been in good form on the road, so worth a cheeky mini-punt with the double. Not set in stone but tis what i have atm.

Verm almost scored 2-3 times earlier this season at the Ethihad, and with City's defence not looking as solid as usual, i see that game being a 3-2 score easily.

    what are the odds that:

    a) hba's assist is removed and siggy gets one more bp than him

    b) evans and valencia score more than moses bp's + walcott bp's + 14

each one is my situation in a different h2h minileague. b is definitely more important though as im in second and its against the leader who is 2 wins ahead of me
