Want to work for Fantasy Football Scout? Get in touch

As we gear up for the start of the 2019/20 season, we are frantically working behind the scenes to make improvements for our site users and subscribers.

We have a number of exciting developments in the pipeline but we’ll need an additional body to help us roll out the changes we have planned.

Our previous call to arms was for editorial staff but we are now looking for a web developer to assist with the technical side of things.

We work remotely so location shouldn’t be an issue for anyone considering applying. Flexibility of hours would be desirable, however.

We are looking for the following skills from our candidates:

Required

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Proficient with CSS2/CSS3
  • Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards
  • Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design

Beneficial

  • A working knowledge of Git
  • Experience with PHP

Ideal

  • Experience of React.js
  • Knowledge of WordPress

Based on past experience with our job adverts, we need to stress that it may take a little time to look through and respond to applications. But if that doesn’t put you off and you want to get involved with the next chapter of the site, please drop us a line with your CV at jobs@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk

He’s technically for sale, as & when we sign strikers (here’s hoping) then he will be moved on to either the MLS or Mexico.
Even if he stays, Antonio will likely be used ahead of him due to versatility IMO

Easily Billy Sharp, 13 (plus 3 assists). Che Adams will score 7 (4 of which coming off the bench). Pukki 2, on accidentally, and sold in January to Dagenham & Redbridge as a backup for the local hero (41 years old but the lover of the owner's daughter). Life's hard.

Loved Sharp for the brief time we had him, and still do. Class player throughout his professional career. Think he'll do well.

Seriously, it'a hard choice. I've seen all the Norwich highlights I could and I believe that many of their attacking midfielders could do well in PL (players like Emi Buendia and, if he plays, Stiepermann). So, I think assists for Pukki will flow in a decent number, and he definitely is an interesting finisher. I guess he could do what the likes of Wood, Rondon and Mitrovic did last term: 11/12 goals, but with very few assists. Don't know what to expect from Adams, who in my humble opinion has still plenty to find to face PL defences efficiently. Sharp is to be replaced as a starter, I'm told, so no contest.

Extremely unlikely but imagine Pickford starts to take penalties after scoring one in the nations league, maybe Silva wants to try a new penalty taker after Siggy’s under par record last season 🙂

Exempted form the city squad for preseason.
Not in the new kit reveal vid, which is strange as he is by far the most popular and active social media personality in the side.
And questions about his discipline have been asked. A bit of an off joke here and a bit of ubbecesary banter there, and you can see why Pep may have misgivings. Plus, hus leags arent exactly titanium, arent they?

    RSC Altach 1 - 1 Southampton
Full time at Austria, as it ends in a 1-1 draw. A quick Che Adams goal is then cancelled out by a screamer from 25 yards by the Austrian outfit.
    Thoughts:

    - Che Adams looks the real deal. Strong, energetic, good finish for the goal. You can clearly see why Ralph was such a big fan, we never really looked any other striker in the market but him. Well-suited to a high press, pretty sure he starts vs Burnley.
    - Plays was lethargic in large spells to be honest. Altach have been more advance in their preseason prep, so were better prepared. We need a little bit more urgency, looked especially dead in the second half.
    - N'lundulu, an academy striker, looked good. Quick, pacy, even injured a trialist for Altach when he was breaking through haha.
    - Cedric looked alright, but I think Valery's place is assured. Bertrand, not so sure. Ralph seems to realy rate our academy LB, Sam Vokins, so will have to see how that situation develops.
    - McCarthy, my oh my. I mean, it was a good shot, but I really thought he could've at least made a better effort at saving that. Idk. Think Gunn shuld nail that spot.
    - Redmond continues to be lively. No goal, but quick, helped the defence occasionally, and was a threat.

Can't wait for the next game!

Everyone expected big names to be rested last season and it more or less didn’t happen.

Even if Origi does play one at the beginning it will take some real shuffling to get him out and get Salah/Mane/Firmino that you will have presumably foregone.

Would you lads be so kind to pick between these two teams? I'm stuck in the mud here

    Team A:
    Ryan
    TAA, VVD, Laporte, Coleman
    Salah, Siggy, Zaha, Madds
    King, Kun
    [4.0, 4.0, Dendoncker, 4.5]

    Team B:
    Ryan
    TAA, VVD, Laporte
    Salah, KDB, Siggy, Zaha, Madds
    King, Jota
    [4.0, Coleman, Diop, 4.5]

A pros and cons: + Kun, - no bench at all
B pros and cons: - no premium striker, + KDB, solid bench

Thoughts on this squad? I know bench weak and depends on Zinchenko confirming place. Trippier another option depending on preseason form.

    Pope/Heaton
    TAA Coleman Van Dijk Zinchenko
    Salah KDB Sigurdsson Tielemans
    Kane King

    Woodman Dendoncker Kelly Greenwood
