The best West Ham players for their appealing fixtures

West Ham players are now on the Fantasy Premier League radar after their 3-1 win over Watford.

The Hammers have also have a favourable streak of fixtures coming up to further interest in their assets.

Norwich come to the London Stadium in Gameweek 4 having conceded eight goals in their first three matches of the season.

After that, West Ham travel to newly-promoted Aston Villa, who have just one clean sheet in 2019/20 thus far, which came against a goal-shy Everton side last Friday.

Manchester United and Crystal Palace are the next two sides to travel to East London (in Gameweeks 6 and 8 respectively), before Manuel Pellegrini’s men travel to Bournemouth and Everton.

However, Fantasy managers will still have to ensure they choose the right West Ham player to capitalise on the form and fixtures.

We have gone over the numbers from their first three matches of 2019/20 to work out who that might be.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the new campaign can access it in full.

    Aguero and Sterling owners - who will you captain?

    7 talkings points:

    1) Betting odds favours Aguero (source: bet365)
    Aguero to score: 1.40
    Sterling to score: 160

    2) Penalty duties favours Aguero

    3) Sterling has played 3x 90 minutes. Aguero has played less and Jesus is out injured. Surely, if City lead by 2-0 Sterling is more likely to get a rest?

    4) Will we ever get a better differential captain than the one we got with Aguero now?

    5) Aguero running riot could cement his place in the team long term?

    6) Sterling got a likely chance of a CS

    7) Sterling gets one more point for a goal

    Leaning towards Aguero, mainly because he is a great differential. Higher risk, higher reward (in terms of rank increase)

        Don’t own aguero so could be biased, but I am fairly certain I would still captain sterling even if I did own Aguero. Think he was a little more exsplosive last year as well. Seem to remember Aguero consistenly got a lot of 5-8 pointers

          But the season before that 11 more and before that again 9 more. He generally gets more assists than Aguero. Furthermore the betting odds are 2.30 for Sterling to get an assist in the upcoming match and 3.20 for Aguero, a significant difference.

          I'm with you on that one! I just feel like doing something different this time around. Mainly because of his low ownership compared to Sterling. If we fail though, we will be hurt massively. If we succeed, it's a bullseye

      Looks a good team mate, but personally I would change pieters to someone like Söyüncü, but if you are happy with double Burnley defence then it's all good.

    I have decided now that Mount and Lundstram is worth a hit. Simply because Chelsea will score more than Villa ever will. And Mount will be more likely to be involved.
    And I don’t need to say anything about Lundstram - will start him this week vs Chelsea.

      Stick with it. I’m also ranked 1.7 million for exactly the same reason...I put my faith in Kane and captained him versus Newcastle. Kane may well come good in the NLD.

      It’s incredibky early in the season - there is very little points difference in ranks.

      It’s impossible to have a season ruined by GW3 - lots above you have used up chips.

      Just get back to making good decisions - use it as motivation to play well and rise up the ranks

      What would you be happy with as an overall rank come season end?

      Don't give up mate, it's still early days yet, 35 game weeks to go yet, a lot of points still to play for. Just try to remember it is a game and should be fun. There is 6m players so you are still in the top half. Just look at it as a challenge to climb the ranks and have fun doing it.
