It’s back on. Sergio Aguero’s finishing and the toil and creativity of Carlos Tevez come to the fore as City rout the Baggies, closing the gap on United thanks to Wigan’s shock 1-0 win at the DW Stadium. Gameweek 33 closed with a night of intrigue and our members can now digest our selection of the key statistics from all ten matches, along with our punt on where the Fantasy Premier League bonus points will be heading…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

All looks fine, but I'd be worried about Adebayor and Mata/VDV playing both games.
In fact I'd be confident in the latter two not starting both.

Ade will start both, Saha was the shadowman against Norwich. Mata and VDV are legitimate concerns though.

Bale, VDV and Ade? A bit overkill with the form they are in, imo

Then again, it could pay off big-time. Mata ain't worth it imo, I would rather have Ben Arfa or Pienaar, actually.

Which option should I take to give me 10 players for GW 34….

    1) Miyaichi -> McClean, keep Bale. This would give me McClean for GW 34, and Bale for GW 35 and DGW 36.

    OR

    2) Bale -> Sessegnon, keep Miyaichi. This would give me Sessegnon for GW 34, and Miyaichi for DGW 35 & DGW 36??

I asked about 5 times around here is Walcott a must for wol WIG and there wasn't a consensus but I've decided that he is must even sold Rooney in order to afford him without hit. Well if it is only the WIG game u might be right by I like the Ars form, Theo's form and the fixtures till the end. And most important he is capable on some big scores, especially with the EURO so close and a point to prove,

But suit your self, your call at the end, I was in your place and have decided for

Anybody making a hit for a defender think it this way. U need to play that defender and after GW 34 in order to make the hit worth. Almost none of the cheap defenders doesn't have good fixture this and next week, then is the double when he is gonna be benched surelyand GW 37 and 8, are also bad for SAFC, Swa, WBA.

So even if they bring a CS u are breaking even IMO, not worth. If they score, assist then fair play but that is gambling. I like hits and punts but for 3-4 games not only one GW and that for a defender.

    Just a thought

    Mignolet
    Vermaelen Richards Evans Caulker
    McClean Valencia Sigurdsson *
    Rooney RVP

    Krul Dempsey Cisse Bale*

    2FT

    1) Bale > Theo - Pro. On form but playing a Wigan side battling rotation. Con. Poor GW35 fixture.
    2) Bale > Nasri/Silva - Pro. Will give me an attacking City player GW35 against Wolves. Con. Possible rotation with City playing Utd the following week.
    3) Bale > Sessegnon. Pro. Playing a poor Wolves side. Con. Already have McClean.
    4) Bale > Chamberlain. Pro. Explosive, good fixture. Con. Risky pick as he might not start.
    5) Bale > Taarabt. Pro. In form, West Brom have nothing to play for. Con. Poor fixtures after.

What do you reckon? Just one, or use both of my free transfers?

After watching MOTD, seems like Evans had a bit of a shocker tonight. Would be typical if he was dropped/rotated at the weekend when we've got no bench compared to the past weeks of piles of CS's on the bench!

Anyone know if he was really that bad?

he was pretty bad but didn't get subbed so is a good sign

he was highlighted as a weakness by wigan though as they consistently took him on

Wigan players ran circles round him from what I saw. But only highlights like yourself.

He is a different player this season, no more driving runs or taking on defenders. Fergie seems to be moulding him into Paul Scholes.

Guardiola is experimenting with Messi....looks promising! Rafa to Cantona can only happen with Guardiola at the helm of the red devils...

has rooney ever done well with hernandez? buy of the century will be back on the bench next week this weekend so i wouldn't panic about rooney. aguero away from home too, away v wolves the week after is the only time i'd back aguero away from home

i'm watching the apprentice boardroom bit which is why that reads an absolute mess. basically:
rooney + hernandez = bad, rooney + welbeck = good.
aguero away from home = bad.
        at least sleep on it

It's just a shame it will be Welbeck upfront and not Berbatov. We will be robbed of copious Rooney assists again.

Who's the best striker punt for gw 34? Already have Van Persie and Rooney and I have 9,5 m in bank. Was thinking of Odemwingie but he did not play today (You know why?) or Bentdner but he is doubtful.

    Help please!

      Some sacrifices being made...

Santon has a good fixture in 35 and then the double, though he is a rotation risk so I guess you can argue with that.
