Drogba > Yak
Gutierrez > Sess
Good transfers? 🙂
Any suggestions for other options?Open Controlswow what is Drog doing in your team! Transfer 2 looks good.
Can you keep Drog and change to Ade for the DGW?Open ControlsI want to bring in a player for this week too and Yak has good fixtures. I will have Ade for his double.
Open Controls
I cannot see your entire team. I would have to say YES do it.
Open Controls
Thinking Bale and Enrique to Walcott and Kompany? Opinions??
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂Open ControlsWalcott and Turner is a better opeion
Open ControlsYa so Kelly and Bale to Walcott and Turner...hold Enrique for double gw then!
Open Controls
Considering neither are playing in GW34, not a bad idea. But will you want them back for the DGWs? Dilemmas aplenty this week.
Open ControlsFeckin JR...
Open Controls
turner this week, caulker for rest of season. at least thats what im doing.....soon.
Open Controls
Question gonna get lost on last page. I'll give my answer, anyway.. question was - most underrated FPL player this season...
Song. He has the same number of assists as Bale, Walcott, and Sessegnon and 1 more than Young and Nani, yet has averaged mostly a little less than 4% ownership all season.
Not sure the point of that but hey!Open ControlsSong yeah. Also Lampard (as usual) hitting over 10 goals yet again.
Open ControlsFranky is massively difficult to fit into a team tho, but yeah, very underrated.
Open Controls
Sinclair has done well considering it's his 1st season........
Open ControlsGotta have at least less than 10% ownership, preferably less than 5% to qualify 😀
Open Controls
A man after Doosra's heart...
Open ControlsSeriously. Doos has so much love for Song...
Open Controls
Arteta is another imo. 7 goals and second only to VDV in bonus points.
Open ControlsTrue. Weird that £8m still feels over priced, even tho it's clearly not!
Open Controls
Sorry to only post when i'm stuck but it's crunch time...
I need to catch my league leader - he's been at the top since like GW4 and i've closed a 100pt gap to about 10 - our teams are way too similar now so i need to shake things up over the coming decisive weeks!
caps players are players we have matching...
Vorm - Bog
Cahill - Verm - EVANS - Kelly - ENRIQUE
VAL - WALCOTT - BALE - Ryo - Siggy
ROON - RVP - Cisse
now i'm thinking of taking a 4pt hit to get 10 for GW34 - it seems sensible to only ship players we have the same and who miss next week. Sooooooooooooo.....
Bale - Ses / Silva
Enrique - Turner / Lescott
or just ship bale (hit for a defender rule etc...)
IM IN A MIND-MARE! HELP!!Open Controlsyou might not wanna make your teams too different if your players who are different are better than his that are different it can onyl help u having others the same!!
Open ControlsAm in a similar situation...clawed back a 100 gap to 10 somehow. Taken 10 points off him in two consecutive gameweeks its nothing. Id be wary of taking risks at this stage...still a lil early in my eyes. That said i am bringing sess in for a hit this week but for surman. U will want bale back shortly...
Open Controlsmmm - i guess, the other suspect is Ryo... They were wary of over using him so he's had a few games of rest, maybe now he'll get full game time back? could be a good diff over the next few weeks, where as Bale could remain quiet...
think sess is required this week but im leading towards just fielding 9 this week and going on the DGW offensive after. If i did Bale to sess then i'd probably get Bafra in for the double...Open Controls
howcome jelavic didnt play against sunderland?
Open Controlsso if he was rested guessing he cud well be rested for 1 of the double gameweek matches? thats a pity as thought he cud be a gud 1 for then!!!
Open Controls
You really must 😀
Saying that...I am contemplating Moses/Maloney/Diame for GW37+38!Open ControlsMaloney looks a good pick.
I'd be quite happy now to see the 3 teams currently in the bottom 3 all go down. Kudos to Wigan, they were brilliant tonight.Open ControlsYeah, he's been great lately!
I feel the same and cheers 🙂 Great result for you too, hopefully we'll both keep it going!Open Controls
I took a punt on Taarabt a few weeks back... glad I did. Go on you know it makes sense... 🙂
Open Controls
Only have 10 players for next gameweek, is it worth doing bale to nasri with my FT, then get bale back in 2 weeks for a hit?
Open ControlsYaya Toure likely to play this week? Or shall I swap to Walcott?
Open ControlsMancini said it was a minor knock and he should be back for norwich. I cba to find the quote google it.
Open Controls
Those who still have their WC, when are you planning on pulling the trigger? Before the double to maximise DGW players, or after to balance your team?
Open ControlsWould it be silly to sell Bale and Ade for Aguero and Walcott for -4pts?
I currently have only 8 players for GW34 including Surman and Spurs form is worrying despite their good run of fixtures till the end of the seasonOpen ControlsId keep em now. Your going to want them back after 1 week...no point. Thats not to say i dont expect walcott to do well next game but longterm bale and ade will come good...im planning on bringing them both in for36
Open Controls
what happen to MU?
i didn't watch this match.
Suarez -> Rooney good move for this GW?
thanks.Open ControlsOnly just saw SAF's interview.
Got to say, I do really like him as a manager, nice to see how truthful he really is and gave us the credit for the performance.Open ControlsCheers 🙂
Really revitalising to see us play like this again. We can and do play great football at times but been too few and far between for those kinds of performances. Not taking anything away from them of course, absolutely made up with the result tonight 😀Open ControlsLooks like Martinez and his system works! 3 at the back, short, sharp passing, finishing were he left off at the Swans!
Open Controls
Cant believe some people were comparing him to King Kenny earlier after his interview post Blackburn.
For sure a class above that odious little man.Open ControlsWithout a doubt. I really rate SAF, I used to hate them as a team because my perception was one of seeing them as truly arrogant.
Some players I don't like still, but my view has certainly changed and SAF shows respect and gives credit where credit is due, instead of finding childish excuses for losses and acting as KK does.Open ControlsDon't know if you saw his interview after Blackburn but it was truly disgraceful behavior.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTAI0QHoJy4
Can't wait for him to get the sack so we don't have to put up with him in the league any more.Open ControlsYeah, no respect at all.
I really enjoyed him being hired and seeing him as manager but he's seriously tarnished his reputation.
Think it's best he goes, both for Liverpool's sake and his own, IMO.Open ControlsYou'd never catch Fergie being so downright ignorant and rude. He's got his faults but he has proven himself to be one of the best time after time in so many area.
Kenny has absolutely destroyed his reputation and he seems to be getting worse and worse by the week, if he stays much longer the fans are going to turn against him big time I fear.Open Controls
Any comment on these options please....
A: Kelly > Kompany : play 10 on gw34
B: Kelly > Turner + P.Cisse > Aguero : cost a hit and play 11 on gw34 (get Cisse back on gw36)
The team for gw34 will look like this.
Vorm
Vermaelen – Evans – ???
Walcott – Valencia – Siggy – Sess.
RvP – Rooney – ???Open Controlsim considering the same move, only just got Cisse in but need some GW34 players and Aguero on form is hard to resist - can allways just get the fella back after!
but to be fair i'd just get aguero in and play 10... kelly is good for GW35.Open ControlsThank you. I haven't considered that choice of only Aguero before.. Too focus on my DF. Btw, I'm not sure if I'd play Kelly as I have Schwarzer and Simpson, Evans, and BAE or Vermaelen should start before him..
Open Controls
Don't sell Cisse! Plan A is a bit meh as well. I'd go in with 9 and have extra DGW players
Open ControlsThanks Ryan. Just 0.2m to lose on Cisse as I got him quite late. It will be no problem for me to get him back on DGW. Despite his poor away record, I just fancy Aguero on crucial away games to Norwich and Wolves. Doubt if this makes sense...
Open ControlsAguero has pretty much always been on 'Home form' its his away record that ruins his value and he is playing away in GW34 so would not take a hit to get him in especially for cisse. Control your knee sir.
Open Controls
Who will Win the league?
United or Citeh
Who will stay up from the bottom 5?
Wigan, QPR, Bolton, B'Burn or WolvesOpen ControlsStill no faith?
Mainly down to the poor away form.Open Controls5 points behind is still a large amount.
I'm not writing us off, but it will definitely be difficult.Open ControlsYou only need MUN to lose 1 game, and then it's back in your hands. Pressure will be on MUN now, although as we've seen in years gone by, they're normally fine with that.
Open ControlsYep and looking at the fixtures we have 3 out of 4 home games bar the Citeh match. All of them are against sides in the middle of the table which is ideal, they have nothing to play for
Open ControlsYeah, you are still strong favourites. Looking at your remaining games I can't see any that you'll lose, but it's a funny old game. Perhaps EVE is the biggest concern given their form.
Open Controls
?Who should win gameweek 34 out of me and my main rival?
Me:
Mingolet
Evans,Verm,Kompany
Valencia,Walcott,McClean,Moses
Rooney,RVP,Yakubu
Him:
Vorm
Evra,Verm,Kompany
Valencia,Young,Dyer
Graham,RVP,Morison
Also who should I be lookign to get in for the double gameweeks? I currently have Bogdan, Simpson,Enrique,BarfaOpen ControlsHis midfield and attack are crap.
Open ControlsYou should.
I'd put you on around 65-70 points post-bonus.
Reckon he'll get about 55-60.
Hmm, possibly Bale/VDV depending on form, likewise with Ade.
Probably Cisse if he carries his form on, likewise with Dempsey.
Defenders aren't too important IMO, Baines is probably the best choice for it though.
Keep Ben Arfa and Simpson to play for the DGW.Open Controlsagree with the above, you've got it in the bag.
i think GW 36 contenders you are missing are in this order
Cisse
Dempo
VDV
Mata
Bale
Ade (rotation of spurs front line is a bit worrying, would be top 3 otherwise)Open Controls
Who to captain for GW 34???
Rooney, Valencia or RVP....
Which of the following transfers is the best for GW35 and till end of seaon?
A - Sess -> Dempsey, OR
B - Sess -> WalcottOpen ControlsRVP ainec.
I prefer B.Open Controls
Currently starting 9 in week 34 and have one freebie + 0.5 in bank
I could do Cahill out for one of Caulker, Bardsley/Turner or Clichy(rotation risk)
Should I pull the trigger on one of these or save xfer and just roll with it.
Other suggestions more than welcome at this point.Open ControlsIt's tough. Haven't been doing the FPL for long so unsure on what the best option is here. To field a full 11 or take the 10 playing & have more for the double gamweek.
Open ControlsWould make the transfer.
Open Controlsreally depends on which 10 you have and which double gameweekers you gonna have!
Then it comes down to gut feeling on which will do you best as dont think theres a right answer some will do some people better and others will do better doing the opposite!!Open Controls
Looks a good 9. I'd be tempted to roll with it.
Open ControlsAm happy enough going with nine but think it would be a worthwhile trade because I would not play Cahill in 35 against arsenal anyway. Couple of days to decide.
Open Controls
I'm rolling with it, but I have 10 this week... Figure the upsides to more DGW players are greater than the downsides of fewer players this week, and don't want to take too many hits. That's been the plan for a while; City's resurgence is giving me pause, but don't want to swap Dempsey for Silva, don't want to get rid of Dave, and don't want to bin either Simp or Cahill for Lescott/Kompany, because they're all DGWers.
Open ControlsMy thinking re. Cahill is that I would not be playing him against Arsenal and who knows which back line Chelsea will turn out for the dgw games. I am 0.1 short of getting Lescott so Clichy would also be a risk. Both Sunderland and Swansea have good homes fixtures in 34 and 36
Open Controls
Thanks all. Still don't know what I'm going to do as there are merits to both sides but leaning slightly towards saving it.
Open Controls
Hey guys, bit of forward thinking, wanting thoughts on whether it would be worth a -4 to have a Spurs defender for the double. Considering I would have either McAuley (VILLA) or Turner (BOL) to play instead? Cheer for advice.
Open ControlsCheers Hal.
There's is so much thought going into the next few weeks tactics.. with only a few points separating my mini league the heat is on to get it right!Open Controls
its as much a budget thing, and who else you got really. are you sure you dont have 3 defenders already youd rather play in the dgw?
Open ControlsI would have 2 doubles. Santon & Enrique, then 3rd is Turner or take the -4 for a Spurs def.
Open Controlsfor me the combined risk of Santon not starting and less chance of clean sheets away to an impressive Wigan and not so impressive Chelsea, is not as good as having Turner for WOL this gw and BOL in gw36
Open Controls
Just got home from a very long day.
Very pleasing day for football 😀Open ControlsWhich two would you look to get into your side at some point between now and GW36?
Baines
BAE
VermOpen Controlsdepends on how many starters you have for gw34 imo
Open ControlsNot enough, I doubt bringing in a defender will make much difference though
Open Controlsa bloke with an Everton grav gave me some good advice yesterday
basically I ended up taking out Santon because I figured I did not fancy him for my XI in the dgw. took in turner instead as it gave me effectively one extra fixture (now have 10 starters for gw34)Open Controlsthat's not an utterly half-assed thing to do imo (i.e. decent move). because is kelly really something to have for the DGW (eve/liv)?
Open Controls
baines
Open ControlsFor me , Verm for gw34-35 then Baines gw36.. 😎
Open Controls
BAE and Verm for me. Baines is not the fpl player of last year and is way overpriced
Open Controls
Cant afford Kompany so what other city defender is worth getting?
Open ControlsFor the double..........
A) Ben Arfa + Pienaar
B) VDV + Sigurdsson
Thanks as always 🙂Open ControlsWould go for A base on current performance
Open ControlsA
Open ControlsA
Open ControlsSo do you all think VDV is not worthwhile for the DGW?
Open ControlsA
Open ControlsThanks for the reassurance guys.
DGW Team v0.3
Vorm(WOL)
Baines(FUL,sto) • Turner(BOL) • Simpson(wig,che)
Bale(BLA,bol) • Dempsey(eve,liv) • Sessegnon(BOL) • HBA((wig,che) • Pienaar(FUL,sto)
Adebayor(BLA,bol) • P.Cisse(wig,che)
Subs: Sorenson(ARS,eve) • RVP(sto) • Caulker(WOL) • • Evans(mc)Open ControlsA..look juicy dude...

Been looking at the stats between Arteta and Sessegnon to help me decide who to bring in this week. In addition to these, what are people's views on their team and opponents? Mine are below.
Arsenal - Not much to be said other than - Bang on form, strong at home, scoring goals (sooo good to be saying that!) and incentivised by 3rd place to keep it going.
Sunderland - Strong at home, but perhaps lacking incentive to really perform? Rotation concerns on the back of a big defeat, and perhaps lacking a fit striker for the w/e.
Wigan - On the back of a massive win - going to spur them on, or is RM likely to rest players for their perceivably easier games? Not inherently tight at the back on the road.
Wolves - Absolutely dire, dire form. Surely they HAVE to win this game to stand any chance whatsoever of staying up? Up for the fight?
PLAYER STATS
Points - Arteta 127, Sess 146
Goals - Arteta 7, Sess 7
Assists - Arteta 2, Sess 11
BPs - Arteta 21, Sess 14
Shots on target - Arteta 14, Sess 19
Key Passes - Arteta 62, Sess 51
Last time I asked, the opinion was unanimously Sess, but I'm really not sure who to go for. Is the gooner in me paving the way for a massive fall? Any comments welcomed, cheers!Open ControlsGooner myself man, and honestly I'd take Sess in an instant. Wigan just beat United, Wolves have conceded an AVERAGE of over 3 goals a game....lol
Open ControlsTough 1 for sure. Points vaild on both players. To me Arsenal have the capacity to score bigger however, more often then not it's not Arteta contributing, on the hand if Sunderland produce a trouncing (definately possible v Wolves) then Sess is the most likely player to contribute.
Sess just for me.Open ControlsRemember you asked this last night and the way you were talking it sounded like everything you said was trying to convince yourself why Arteta was the better option which would suggest he is the player you really want in your heart.
Open Controls
Balo > Tevez for a 4 pointer paid off.
Just wish I brought in Aguero. Everyone probably feels that though.Open Controlsdude....I bought dzeko....nuff said
Open Controls
WOW! When the tables get updated (why does it take so long???) there will be 5 points separating the top 3 in my mini league! My main rival sits right in the middle of me and Mrs China Mag. Our teams are essentially the same, but he still has his wild card. Is there anything that I can do to gain an advantage on him?
Our only real differentials are barfa + siggie (me) v dempsey + mcclean (him).
Should I get Dempsey back Walcott for the Wigan game to match him (better GW35), or go for VDV (better overall fixtures). Remember that he will wildcard in GW36.Open ControlsHmm I'd probably get Dempsey in to be honest. Wigan are doing great but Dempsey is in great form.
VDV is a rotation risk.Open ControlsSurely Harry has to play his best team from here on in? And that definitely includes VDV. But of course he is always at risk of missing out through injury
Open ControlsYou'd say so, it's just with this injury risk too as you say.
I would hope he does though, I have both Ade and Bale and I'm quaking slightly. I'll probably keep them in, then get likes of Dempsey for Wigan and keep him in, then get Cisse and possibly Mata for a good amount of attacking DGW'ers 🙂Open ControlsHarry will play VDV as he stated he won't be going back to the 4-4-2 formation. This either means a 4-4-1-1 or a 4-3-3
Open Controls
All set to do enrique - turner before the price changes. Any reason not to?
Open Controlsaverage update - 41
Open Controlsouch
Open Controls
Bardsley didn't go off injured on Monday did he, was thinking of getting him in, is more likely than Turner to get an assist or goal given Wolves poor form.
