Scouts after the defeat of Man Utd I'm not sure anymore what should I do.
    My current team is:
    Mig and Bog

Evans, Komps, BAE, Kelly and Caulker
Bale, Walcott, McClean, Siggy and Valencia
    Pig, Manolito Adeb and RVP

Should I keep Pig or Manolito or should I sub them for KUN?
I have 0.9 in the bank

Or do you have any other suggestion?
Should I make nothing and save 2 transfers for DGW?

Van Persie vs Rooney Captain GW34

    ROONEY

    2010-11 Man United 3-1 Aston Villa (Rooney (2) 1', 45+1', Vidić 63')
2009-10 Man United 0-1 Aston Villa (FU Gabby) Rooney played 90 minutes.
    2008-09 Man United 3-2 Aston Villa (Ronaldo (2) 13', 81', Macheda 90+3' 😀 ) Rooney not present.
    2007-08 Man United 4-0 Aston Villa (Ronaldo 16', Tévez 33'(ewww), Rooney (2) 53', 70')
2006-07 Man United 3-1 Aston Villa (Park 11', Carrick 13', Ronaldo 35') Rooney played 90 minutes.
Of course this doesn’t count in assists, but we all know he doesn’t need to do anything to get these anyway, also where’s Ronaldo?? ïŒ

    VAN PERSIE

    2010-11 Arsenal 3-0 Wigan (Van Persie Hat-trick!)
    2009-10 Arsenal 4-0 Wigan (Vermaelen (2) 25’, 49’ 😀 , Eboué 59’, Fabregas 90’) VP played 90 minutes.
2008-09 Arsenal 1-0 Wigan (Adebayor 16’) VP played 90 minutes.
2007-08 Arsenal 2-0 Wigan (Gallas 83’, Rosicky 85’) VP not present.
2006-07 Arsenal 2-1 Wigan (Hall O.G, Rosicky 85’) VP not present.

Of course Wigan are much improved recently and United will want to make an impression against Villa after losing last night so this is could be useless. Pure data it remains. Aston Villa’s win at Old Trafford in 09-10 was their first in 26 years. Van Persie data is a little unreliable on this really, maybe take into account that he hasn’t scored in open play for 4 games, having said that they could easily get a penalty, as could United.

Conclusion: Inconclusive! Waste of time? Seems to be.

Yeah it does seem a little pointless but some players are much more confident against certain teams. I don't think current form should always be the thing considered.

Is it really Rooney vs RVP?
I don't have Rooney, but if I did, I don't think I'd be considering him as captain, he seems to be in one of 'those' slumps again.

It's an 'observation' after watching against Fulham, QPR and Wigan.
He was good against Blackburn and Wolves - but he wasn't threatening at all.

I guess from an FPL perspective he has been risky to own really at his value. IRL I still think he's playing great but I could have rose-tinted glasses (aside from Wigan).

So when he plays, Rooney only scores every second year against Villa at OT 😉

United's attack is a concern right now. Never looked like scoring against Wigan. Only managed 2 against 10 man QPR, one being a pen. 2 against Blackburn and only 1 against Fulham. They just seem to be missing that inspiration in the final 3rd. Then again Villa are bloody awful.

    mignolet
    verm, kompany, evans, caulker
    valencia, walcott, siggy, surman
    rooney, rvp

    bogdan, dempsey, cisse, kelly

    a) save transfer hope surman starts
    b) surman > mclean
    c) kompany, surman > turner, sess
    d) kompany, surman > n.taylor, sess
    e) dempsey > sess, then valencia > dempsey next week (making it tough to get db gwk players in)
    f) something else 1ft, 1.3m in bank

Surman fills a nice spot on your bench. Have you considered bench options in GW35 or does it not bother you having 8 good attacking players?

Anybody fancy a punt on Weimann?
Chances are he'll end up with 2 points this week but then that's 2 points more than a lot of players and then has SUN/BOL double.
Surely McLeish will play him from here on out with nobody else looking likely to score for Villa?

Swansea only managed one home clean sheet this year and have lost the last 4 matches in a row. It has to be Yakubu - especially with Norwich home the following week.

Good point! He has pens too, and Blackburn do always seem to score regardless of opposition.

This would be my order of preference then: Yakubu > Odemwingie > Bendtner.

Just think Bendtner's a bit hit and miss even if he does start. Odemwingie should be fresh.

Possibly Odemwingie but WBA's poor home record and the fact that he's only scored in 2 home games all year put me off him a bit. Bendtner is the option I like best but I can't be sure he'll start.

Odem is an option but I don't really fancy WBA because of their dire home record this season and the fact that he's only scored in 2 home games this season.

    1. Vorm or Mignolet?
    2. Kelly out for Turner, Caulker or McCauley? (no hit) or save the 1 FT?

(I realize 1 and 2 are somewhat interdepedent. assuming I want to spread risk rather than double up.

hmm.... you'd need 10 so maybe trade then but the trap in that is you could potentially only gain 2 points as opposed to 4 in the DGW.

Took a hit to downgrade Young to Sess and used the cash to take a punt on Aguero.

Hope is that many won't have a big three forwards this week

Kun basically starts with -8 for you.

with it being a limited GW, i think a lot of people will downgrade some big name MIDS to get in Aguero after his haul.

Looking to bring in Sess for a 4 pointer. Not sure if it's worth it. He'd play 34 35 36. Only problem is I don't fancy him up front alone, he need's bendy to do the donkey work.

    What do you think between:
    A) Ryo > McClean
    B) Ryo, Suarez > Nasri + Yak (-4)
    C) Ryo, Suarez > Silva + Graham (-4)
    D) Kaboul, Suarez > Tevez + Kilgallon (-4)

up front. he was doing well in points at the start of the season, but now he's absolutely rubbish.

he scores penalties, thats it. a bit wierd: an OOP midfielder playing upfront who can only score pens
