Gameweek 35 kicks off with a game between third-placed Arsenal and sixth-placed Chelsea. Champions League qualification (and all the money it brings) is at stake, and the Dugout Discussion opens to see how it plays out. The line-ups from the early game have been released, and are as follows…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Ramsey, Song, Walcott, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, van Persie.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Bosingwa, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres, Kalou.

From the defeat at the hands of struggling Wigan there are four casualties, with Johan Djourou, Andre Santos, Mikel Areta and Yossi Benayoun all out of the eleven. In comes Laurent Koscielny, Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Juggling his priorities, Roberto Di Matteo makes eight (8) changes ahead of the second leg Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. Petr Cech, John Terry and Gary Cahill are the only survivors from the first leg.

After the game at the Emirates we’ve got five 3pm fixtures to enjoy, before the day’s football concludes at Loftus Road for the game between QPR and Tottenham.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom will be open for the entirety of today’s action, and can be accessed right here.

why do I feel nervous about having dropped Rooney?

Main rival still has him but is 50 points behind. Surely with my team as it is I can defend a 50 point lead.

meh he has BAE and Barfa for DGW. I have Dempsey, Bale, Cisse, Santon and 3 more to come.

        Howard, Kaboul/Huth and Jelavic

but even if he brings in 3, that's only 5

Or he takes a MASSIVE hit, which wouldn't worry me anyway/

With my lead, I'd rather focus on my own DGW plans, knowing if he brings the same players in, he's doomed.

I'd have been more worried dropping RVP as I figured he'd be playing a Chelsea B team. Everton can be a tough nut to crack at the best of times.

Haven't pressed the button - playing around with transfers but don't want to click confirm until I'm somewhere near happy because I'll be losing value on certain players. Doesn't mean much at this time of the season but you never know!

When I first came on here I was RMTing all the time.

Also, you were unlucky in the CL knockouts, who would've expected a Taiwo CS? 😛
I dropped into Europa and got knocked out of that 😉
