Two televised games today finally gives us some live Premier League action to enjoy this weekend. Ok it’s West Brom versus Newcastle United and Sunderland versus West Ham, but it’s better than nothing I suppose…

Team news from the Hawthorns has come through and Newcastle name an unchanged team, That means there’s no Joey Barton or Kevin Nolan, and that Andy Carroll partners Shola Ameobi upfront.

For the home side, Chris Brunt and Peter Odenwingie return to the starting eleven as expected.

West Brom XI: Carson, Jara, Scharner, Tamas, Cech, Tchoyi, Morrison, Dorrans, Thomas, Brunt, Odemwingie

Newcastle XI: Krul, Simpson, Steven Taylor, Campbell, Jose Enrique, Routledge, Guthrie, Tiote, Gutierrez, Carroll, Ameobi

Our Dugout Discussion will be open throughout the day, and is available right here.

Danny Guthrie must be one of the poorest players to grace the premiership and he's a dangerous wee sh*te!

I've got Brunt and was thinking the same, but tbh he would have just been too wide, Odemwingie has to shoot tbf.

Hasn't Elmo been coming on for 7 or less minutes the last few games? So, you might get the 1 point.

Bullet of a hit from Brunt! Didn't look like going in, but that sort of thing should increase his chances of bps.

Take Jara off now please, lock in those 6 points!

Id say Thomas 3, Scharner 2, José Enrique 1

Enrique, although conceding two, has won a LOT of duels on that left side. Mostly disarmed Tchoyi, apart from his goal.
