Fernando Torres matched the achievements of Liverpoolโ€™s Luis Suarez with a hat-trick of his own as Chelsea swept pass relegation threatened QPR. With Rafael Van der Vaart delivering in Tottenhamโ€™s routine win over Blackburn, the double Gameweek gambles have almost paid in full, with another 90 minutes to go.

Hereโ€™s our usual round-up for Members of some of the key performance statistics collected so far, together with our punt on where the Fantasy Premier League bonus points could be headingโ€ฆ

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I just want to say to all you readers, all talk about believing your "gut" or sticking on your game plan are RUBBISH!

I had couple of choices to make for this gw
    a) terry
    b) vermaelen
Went for vermaelen because I need him to play all remaining gw's + I "saw" him scoring against stoke (and was afraid cos all my rivals had him). I was also tinkering terry "comeback" and scoring but stupidily believed my gut.

    a) bale
    b) vdv
    Played safe, shit happens.

    a) captain cisse
    b) captain jelavic

Went for cisse, cos that was always my plan and newcastle are fighting for cl place + it's wigan away..

I don't even go for gw34 and 35, all my choices have gone horribly wrong for few last weeks - bye bye top 5K ๐Ÿ™

Oh and btw, I pretty much lost my interest for the game so already did cisse => rooney, I advice you to avoid that (like you propably will after his red card against city anyway..).

I was interested to see Gervinho's Forehead say that he was sorry to see the end of the Premier League season and that he had no interest in the Euros.

For me, it's the opposite. I have little interest in the PL in terms of real life now, only as it is the basis for this great game. But I'll be glued to the Euros. Maybe it's because you can support your country instead of having to artificially support a club 500 miles away. Also helps that it's on telly for free (I presume), as I have no intention of ever paying to get Sky or ESPN.

Oh, he also said that England are crap. Which is not true, obviously. They just aren't near Spain and Holland etc.which is frustrating I guess if you come from a big country.

This this this! Being a Welsh bloke and looking in from the side, you've got a good team, but unfortunately for you, you're not as good as the likes of Spain, Germany or Holland. But the media big the the team up and up and up, and hysteria sets in. Then you get knocked out, and the backlash ensues.

I think, considering Rooney won't be there for the first two games, if you get out of the group you'll have done ok, any further would be an achievement.

          Hi menly.

I don't support any team in the Premiership, but I do support my country, Sweden. I'm still emotionally involved in every game, but I mostly don't know beforehand and between games how I will react to what might happen.

If I were to support a team it would be Wigan, but I like things the way they are.

Money, foreigners plus a gazillion other excuses are suggested for England's constant failure.

I always assumed you were Irish, Corrigan?

In any case, for what it's worth, I don't think it's mainly the skill deficit that holds England back. It's something to do with the teamwork/team spirit plus the fear of failure and the huge media pressure. Irish players grow an extra few inches taller when they play internationals. For England it's the reverse.

I Mata will get at least one more assist, for the second Torres goal, according to FPL rules and defenders touching it in the box and all that. Sturridge first was a Mata last touch, but kicking it off defender in the box by Sturridge should negate the assist, maybe. Rules are funny this season.

at last no 140 character restrictions ๐Ÿ˜‰
i think the sturridge one could go either way. mata's was the last touch other than the scorer outside the area so it fits the assist criteria in that sense. the only doubt for me is whether sturridge having both touches either side of the defender's input (which crucially was inside the area) cancels it in any way. i'm not sure it matter if it was a shot or pass by sturridge as i've seen assists for both.
the assist which has made me question what actually does and doesn't count was rvp's v QPR where he passed to walcott, walcott hit the post then scored the rebound. i wonder if this is a more long-winded (but no less legal) version of that, simply swap the post with the QPR player's shin

Budapest is slightly more quiet but you can make your own fun, both are nice cities, cool spas, zoo in budapest

Why not? The only other Chelsea player to touch it was Sturridge, and the only defensive touch was inside the box. It's one of those dodgy assists, but an assist all the same. And I don't own Mata, so no bias here.

Can anyone help me figure this one out please. Looking at the overall table there is a team called Thrillereal who is in 9th place. Looking at his gameweek history he had 11 players and scored 74 points in gw 34 and since then he has made 1 transfer yet has 13 double gameweek players this week and is on 99 points. Am I missing something or does this seem impossible to anyone else?
