I've been leading my money mini-leagues for the vast majority of the season and had a 29 point lead over my rival before this week - we both wildcarded this week but his wildcard contained Pienaar, Suarez and Walker to my Petrov, RVP and Huth, the rest of the teams are pretty similar. Now I think he will probably haul in the lead in one fell swoop, take the lead and win both of the leagues and I will be left heart-broken. Team value and playing it safe coz I was in the lead is where I will have lost it...gutted!!! 🙁

Hodgson is imo the best English man for the job. Tactically astute, generally gets his players performing and not an absolute tw*t. I think the only issue for me is the fact that the players with big egos may overshadow him at times.

You will get followed by black blokes working on commision to try to get you into strip clubs in the main town. We also had a bloke from Leeds pretend he was just trying to help us out aswell but turned out he was on commision aswell and a big argument started because he was trying to poach our trade off the black blokes.
I feel like i'm ranting. Really fun place though.

Pre-season is rotation galore and mostly up against lower league/second string European sides. As for whoever scores most previous GW - i don't think that helps because there's still a load of people here that captained Adebayor, Bale, and vDV - it's always a gamble no matter who you get. If we got a decent striker capable of finishing it's going to be him + one of those 3, impossible to pick i reckon.
Fergie admits that of Utd lose tomorrow, City will win the title. Expected a better mind game than that from SAF.

This is my first year on the site and I was just wondering, what happens in the summer? I'm guessing no knew articles are posted, so does it just go cold for a couple of months?
Euro's this summer, so fantasy football for that. Then theres pre-season and europa league qualification/ECL.
New articles are posted, just not as often as during the season. Concluding remarks, interview with the winner, presenting new teams, new players and so on. Plus this summer there will be EuroFantasy.
In a World Cup or Euro year it's basically all out war between the English and Irish lads on here, although General DBRonaldo is currently in exile on Elba.

You know you've had a bad week when you were 40 points ahead of your rival, he takes a 20 point hit and is now only 15 points behind you, probaly level after bonus points.
I hate weeks where it seems like every 16 or 20 point hit pays off.
