As a Charlton fan I would have absolutely loved that a few years ago, and he's one of the best english managers in the last 15 years.
However he's been too long out of management for me at the moment. Would need him to be in another job for a couple of years before he'd be ready to step up to England manager.

I took a 16 pt hit but brought in Torres and captained him, also Terry, VDV, Bale and Jelly. Made up 40 pts on league leader with 10 dgw players to go. 81pts in the bag so far this week and only 7 pts behind leader who has 8 to play. I love DGW`s. I reckon max Bonus pts for Torres & Jelly but surprised if VDV got any. He didn't do much, other than score.
i also took a 16 pointer hit, hoping to make up a 100 point gap between me and 1st place, made up 30 so far with 8 to play, he only has 4 to play, and they are 4 of mine. big point hauls for Friedel, Terry, Pienaar and Bale (C) please!

Feel sorry for Lazio. Bloke in the crowd blew a whistle and they all stopped playing then Udinese went on to score - possibly screws them out of a European place.

Little bit disappointed I didn't follow through on the Torres transfer.
Mostly just psyched to see him scoring again. Was my favourite player in the league to watch a couple of seasons ago and hope he can really push on and get back the magic. Been a good few weeks for him recently!

Well, after watching those 2 spineless, clueless, hopeless performances by Blackburn and QPR I hope the pair of them get relegated and Wigan & Bolton stay up. I'm very disappointed in Blackburn I have to say - I really thought they'd have more fight about them but that was anemic in the extreme.

I support Blackpool. The rest of my extended family support City. Blackpool vs City was the first game I ever went to! I'd say City were my second team even though I was at Wembley in 1969 when they won the FA Cup ( I was only a wee bairn and remember almost nothing, though ).

yeah it is an evening kick off on saturday, arsenal v norwich is only prem game on sat at lunchtime. The rest are on sunday to avoid the clash with FA cup
