It’s the penultimate weekend of the 2011/12 Premier League season, and only Wolves know their fate. Although nothing can be officially decided today, the Dugout Dugout opens for seven games with huge significance at both ends of the table. We start with arguably the biggest game of the day, as Manchester City travel to Newcastle United, with the title and Champions League qualification on the line. Here’s how both sides line-up…

Newcastle XI: Krul, Perch, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez, Cisse, Ba.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Lescott, Kompany, Clichy, Nasri, Toure Yaya, Barry, Silva, Aguero, Tevez

Unsurprisingly, after two massive wins this week, both sides name unchanged line-ups.

Should City falter at the Sports Direct Arena, then attention and intrigue with turn to Old Trafford to see how the Champions can respond at home to Swansea.

In and amongst those two huge games, there’s five games kicking off at 2pm. They include three of the five sides desperately trying to avoid relegation with Aston Villa facing third-place chasing Spurs, QPR hosting Stoke, and Bolton welcoming the visit of West Brom.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

Got to be proud of the lads. Went toe to toe with the champions and just fell short. Fingers crossed spurs finishes like this to take it to the final day. And one (small) positive from the result. My only chance in my mini league is rooney and/or chico going mental, and if we had got a result, man utd could have settled for 1-0!!

I'm just wondering what could have been had Pardew stuck with a 4-3-3 but it could easily have been destroyed. City deserved to win the game but they weren't too much better than Newcastle, your lads played very well indeed and I hope you qualify for the Champions League.

'Just' fell short? Man City dominated mainly and should have scored more.

We had our fair share of chances as well.

After they scored for 1-0 we had to go for it hugely and they had more chances but we gave it a good go and could easily have scored a couple.

Man city were without doubt the better team, but on another day, some of our (good) chances would have gone in. We gave a much better showing against them than man utd did on monday, and better than most teams who've played city this season.

Just watched the last 15 minutes of the Wolves vs Everton game..

Just me or was the ref a whistle happy idiot? Contributed to what was a dire game, from what I saw.

Also, a whine about injury time. The time that Heitinga went down was at least 3 minutes itself.. but the ref didn't even play the entire 4 minutes.

    ARGHAGHAHGH!

I hate WBA team fantasy wise. There players are scoring always when I don't have them. I had Brunt and Morrison combined about 25weeks and they shit it. Now both of them are scoring 🙁
