Just three days removed from their forgettable FA Cup Final meeting, Liverpool and Chelsea meet once more. This time around the setting is Anfield and, if truth be told, the stake is pride more than the three Premier League points on offer. The Dugout Discussion opens for the occasion, and the team news is in…

Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Downing, Henderson, Shelvey, Maxi, Suarez, Carroll.

Chelsea XI: Turnbull, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Ramires, Sturridge, Malouda, Torres.

Hoping to avoid the worst tally in over 60 years for home points in a season, Kenny Dalglish plays Andy Carroll (at the expense of Craig Bellamy) alongside Luis Suarez following the impact he made on Saturday. There’s three other changes that see Jamie Carragher, Maxi Rodriguez and Jonjo Shelvey replace Jose Enrique, Steven Gerrard and Jay Spearing.

With a season-defining game awaiting in Munich later this month, a much-changed Chelsea line-up take to the field. There’s only three survivors from the weekend, with Champions League Final suspendees John Terry, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic all keeping their place.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

BBC Radio 5 live's Michael Gray at Liverpool v Chelsea:"I cannot tell you tell you how hard that is, what Jonjo Shelvey has just done, from a technical point of view. It is an absolutely fantastic strike - it will be the best goal he scores in his career."

bear in mind I won Nani, if he pulls a no show, think I'd rather have Siggy's points coming off my bench

        even after tonight from Pool

Swans have given up as well.

I either bench him, Siggy or Dempsey

oh i'm not ecstatic that i have to play him but i'm not taking a hit to bring in a def when there are bigger fish further upfield.

so he gets 2, doesn't matter if my new players score some juicy points.

Siggy could do well v Pool though no, seems wrong to bench him.

Can sell him for Ramires and bench Clint, or sell Clint for any mid and bench Siggy?

            which do you like?

i'd keep both but it's the final GW so get rid of Clint.

Demps is a machine but Siggy has been something special for us all.

will sell Clint and get Mata in. If Nani plays he will do well for me and I shouldn't miss Siggy, if he doesn't, I get Siggy off the bench. So I will have

                De Gea

                Evans, Verm, Jags

                Mata, VdV, Nani, Maloney

                RvP, Jelly, Aguero (c)

                Ming, Siggy, Caulker, Santon

Yes, probably. I've been meaning to get rid of Hangeland for ages. I may not do that, but I don't want him playing either .... so hello, Mr. Caulker.
