Just three days removed from their forgettable FA Cup Final meeting, Liverpool and Chelsea meet once more. This time around the setting is Anfield and, if truth be told, the stake is pride more than the three Premier League points on offer. The Dugout Discussion opens for the occasion, and the team news is in…

Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Downing, Henderson, Shelvey, Maxi, Suarez, Carroll.
Chelsea XI: Turnbull, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Ramires, Sturridge, Malouda, Torres.

Hoping to avoid the worst tally in over 60 years for home points in a season, Kenny Dalglish plays Andy Carroll (at the expense of Craig Bellamy) alongside Luis Suarez following the impact he made on Saturday. There’s three other changes that see Jamie Carragher, Maxi Rodriguez and Jonjo Shelvey replace Jose Enrique, Steven Gerrard and Jay Spearing.

With a season-defining game awaiting in Munich later this month, a much-changed Chelsea line-up take to the field. There’s only three survivors from the weekend, with Champions League Final suspendees John Terry, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic all keeping their place.

  May be cheeky punt on a Norwich player.. They have been fighting each match even though they have nothing to play for. Also Aston Villa are practically safe from relegation so their defense will be relaxed.

    Also consider Cisse > Aguero.
    
    Aguero and Tevez have been the furthest 2 City players plus you get safe captaincy choice in Aguero as Tevez has been subbed early all of the matches.
    
    Cisse might score but Eve - Nufc looks more of 0-0 fixture, both having a tight defense.

  For me, Pool signed the wrong guy...they really needed someone like Ashley Young who can drive play forward, his interplay with Suarez would be good, and his set piece delivery and crosses would help Carroll

Is Adebayor to Aguero a no brainer?

right now my front line is RVP, Jelavic, Adebayor. Ade scored in two games in a row, and spurs need a win at home, but aguero has the potential get a big haul against QPR

      Yeah it has cost me a bit, new that Clichy was the best choice last week but went for Verm. I honestly think Tott have the best fixture overall. They are the only team playing for their lives against a team with nothing to play for. At least im probably getting Ade in for a hit today.

        ok...its a big one for me. i made up a 36 point differential last week to catch up with 1st place in my mini league..i am now 1 point behind, and i think he has to make 2 transfers. he has rooney, jelavic and cisse..dont think he wants to get rid of roon and he surely needs either rvp or aguero.
        
        if he makes two transfers, he will be 3 points behind me...ade to aguero is the obvious choice.

i've had a miserable few weeks and as a result have fallen 40 points behind ML leader (where I was about 3 weeks ago).

I've made CAPS my differentials from him...am I crazy in contemplating Siggy over Bale who may be pushed to LB, or is there a genius transfer I'm missing? (for a hit...stupid i know!) Also cahill now looks unlikely to play right, so it's prob caulker...this could either be an epic win and I may just owe it to the late night hardcore FPL crew?
