Reluctantly creeping back into the studio, tail protruding between my weary legs, I cut a forlorn figure for the return of the ScoutCast. Nevertheless, after a two-week break, I brave another half-hour of bile and banter with host Mark to bring the curtain down on my season to forget.

The Samaritans listening needn’t be concerned. I was smiling by the end, if only to see Mark almost on his knees begging me to rethink any plans of Fantasy Football retirement. The very idea.

In between my whining, we give the season a post-mortem, speculate on next season’s prices and assess the tussle at the top of the FPL with another Scout winner still a possibility.

Get this one big miffed of a Scoutcast via this link or use the convenient little player below to stream away.

I don't see much for him from Valencia. Bale may be lb with BAE and Rose both out. I'd be tempted to dump him or Clint and get Nasri in, as you will need City coverage this week IMO

        Three questions occur to me.
How badly do Everton want to finish above L'pool? Will Chelski have fun against the only side I've seen who have already thrown in the towel? Will Newcstle be effective if they're 'pumped'?

Can't give you any guarantees but the following are your best bets

      Verm
      Terry

      Huth

      Lescott

no reason he won't IMO. Doesn't need to be rested ahead of next week. If you want a nailed on starter all are good bets, but Ivanovic is the probably the most likely to sit.

It depends on whether RDM chooses to leave out many of his starters for Munich, or play with the team he intends to start with then.

i agree. i think depending on how far luiz and cahill's progress is though, he could possibly play them together for a game in advance of the final. whether they're match fit for both games is hard to say. i think i might just go for a guaranteed starter, perhaps lescott but i wouldnt be surprised if qpr get a goal as they are fighting for survival and will throw men forward

Rio's been solid this season. Not being biased. JT would be a huge loss to England...ideally I'd love to see the Rio and Terry partnership but it's not going to happen, but on the flipside surely Cahill and Terry would bring a strong understanding at the back.

I think Terry is the better player, but all the off field stuff is bound to impact both on him and the team.

I think Ferdinands time at international level should have gone and if he goes I think he'll get shredded by young fast attackers.

In short I would take neither.

20 points behind going into this week.

    My team:
    Sorenson Vorm
    Simpson Terry Evans Turner Kelly
    Valencia Bale VDV Dempsey Siggy
    RVP Jelavic Cisse

    His team:
    Vorm Krul
    Turner Evans R.Taylor Cuellar Huth
    Bale Petrov Siggy Walters Sess
    RVP Rooney Jelavic

Trying to work out the best way to catch him, only 1 FT and 4.5 in the bank, pretty sure he reads this site so will go for a striker to Aguero, any ideas???

Your midfield has the potential to gain that extra 20 points. It all depends on how sure you are that he'll get Aguero in though, and will he captain him?

I'm pinning all our hopes on Stoke as its so unlikely to see us getting anything away to City, i think we should be safe as Bolton are crap. Just hope Stoke don't go on holiday early like they did last year against Wigan! But I have a funny feeling Crouch will do us a favour Sunday

City will give us a stuffing.

Stoke didn't really lie down on last day last season, they had a goal disallowed against Wigan. Gerry Francis is coaching at Stoke now too so have to hope Pulis has his boys up for this one.

If not then down we go.

Only 4 teams have gone to Stoke and won all season and we are one of them! Man City, Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all failed to win there so you have to assume the odds are against Bolton especially after throwing away a 2 goal lead at home v WBA. Hopefully City and QPR will both be celebrating together at full-time

    VDV Siggy Ramires ?
    RVP(v) Aguero(C) Papiss

Foley won't start and a double up is a bit much IMO.

Am gutted cos I did a Brum/Sheff U/Southend trixie but was confident because I thought 1-0 was too slender a lead.
But from a neutrals perspective I'm glad, like the football Blackpool play
