With the emergence of so many striker options, it'll be tempting to go Bowen/Said over Antonio for West Ham fixture swing

How do you think no vvd will impact Liverpool’s attacking returns?

They’ll be weaker overall which could mean they’ll have less possession and play a little more conservatively or do you think they’ll actually return better since chances are they’ll need to be scoring more goals over the coming weeks to win games ?

    1. RAFA THE GAFFA
      • 7 Years

Negative impact is the only outcome I see. Concede more. Have less foothold in games. Score less

    2. No Professionals

they've been defensively appalling for months, don't see it impacting the attackers.

In defence it is huge blow. They will be susceptible on set pieces. Attacking wise he was they major treat on corners and free kicks. He was bound to 5-6 goals. Also he posses uncanny ability to strech the field with his long vertical passes.

good point on corners - maybe fewer assists from them although Matip is alright in the air.

They surely can't play such a high line anymore.

I think the aerial goals and threat will drop but with Thiago in the tram they will play even more one touch football to feet so don’t think the overall attacking output is Impacted heavily

Problem is I’m then stuck with 4 at the back (with Davies, Justin and Mitchell) or playing Bissouma (unless I can find a 5.6m mid with the money left over from Kane).

Very tricky call. Shame Soucek hasn’t kicked on

Went triple Spurs on WC-Reguilon/Kane/Son (and captained Watkins oddly enough) . Still a good score this wk.

Reading previous article are they say Reguilon's place was in doubt or at least face some rotation?

there should just be a vote for this like the captaincy one.

Ings is a more natural goalscorer and will score more over the season no doubt. Jimenez has 2 great fixtures and I'd back him to outscore Ings in those 2 games.

    Current squad for next GW:

    Martinez
    Trent - Robbo - Saiss - Lamptey
    Salah (C)- Son(VC) - Rodriguez -
    DCL - Jimenez - Ings

    Subs: Forster, Podence(1), Burke (2), Mitchell (3) £0.4m ITB 1 FT

My team looks good for next GW. Bit concerned with the Liverpool double-up in defence given the massive VvD blow, but given they have got two upcoming home fixtures I've resolved to keep them in for those (at least) and see how things go. Would be agonising to miss out on a big Trent haul in either game (I'd more likely sacrifice him over Robbo atm)

I do want to get Kane in but not at the expense of a hit this week - particularly as all my strikers scored in GW5. I'm looking at Watkins and his two fixtures coming up (LEE & SOU) and whether he'd likely outscore Ings over those (EVE & new) or whether just to hold. This is an even tougher call to make as a Saints fan.

If I DO swap Watkins for Ings before GW6, I could make the following transfers in following game weeks without taking a hit:

    GW7 - Jimenez to Kane
    GW8 - Watkins to Antonio

Stick or twist, what are your thoughts?

    1. Tinfoil Deathstar
      • 3 Years

Hi All, thoughts would be much appreciated here. 1ft and 0.3itb did Jimenez to Kane last night. Terrible start to season but a decent score of 83 has me up to 3million, top 2k last year..

    Martinez
    Semedo TAA Saiss
    Son Salah Zaha Foden
    Kane Ings Wood

    Steer Justin Mitchell Anguissa

Considering these for the weekend (injuries permitting):
    1. Is it worth using a ft to change Wood to one of Maupay/Mitrovic/Watkins?
    2. Alternativly free up some cash and downgrade Semedo to Kilman?
    3. or Zaha to Grealish

Is it a waste of a FT to move on from Mitchell and bank 0.1 to catch the Kilman-rise(maybe even double rise?)?

Rest of team looks in good shape, but obviously would be a strength to have 2 FT next week.

    Martinez
    Robbo, Reguilon, Chilwell, Lamptey, Mitchell**
    Salah, Son, Rodriguez, Grealish, Soucek
    Kane, Maupay, DCL

I see Jimenez getting something like this in the next three - 8, 9, 5 +4 so 26 points.

Do you think Kane gets more than 26 points in the next three?

Seems to be a good chance based on how he's playing

Through in a Kane (C) in GW8 and he'll win

Hi all, finally a green rank (from 2.9m to 2.5m). Suggestions with 1ft and 3m. Main concern is the midfiield and a bench that dont play anymore

    Martinez
Taa • Saiss • Lamptey -- James* Mitchell*
    Son • Havertz • Barnes • KDB -- Burke*
    Jimmy • DCL • Watkins

A: KDB >> Salah and sort out one of James/Mitchell next gw
    B: KDB + Havertz >> Salah + Bruno (-4)
    C: KDB + Jimmy >> Salah + Kane (-4)
D: Barnes + Havertz >> Salah + Barkley (-4) and keep KDB, should hopefully be fit by gw7
    E: something else
