Feelings about Fernandes (man u) looks to be a very decent inclusion but will the fixtures calm his output? Seems somewhat overlooked due to price and fixtures but has been scoring very well.

I'm avoiding for moment. Doubt I will bring him in unless Man U really gel and he seems pivotal to that. For me it would mean dropping one of Salah, Kane, or a City bog hitter. Not for now for me.

That's the thing though right!? Not gelling but still scoring. Imagine if they gel on the next 5.

Yeah. A 56% goal involve figure is pretty decent in a top team as well.

I just read your previous comment. I do like the sounds of it, but where will he play is it defensive mid cover or is he attacking? Trust Wolves defence more than Leeds of Kilman can retain spot.

He'll be on my bench though almost every week, and he had chance of securing himself a spot, Struijk will definitely be out when Phillips is back.

Thanks though, less concerned about which 4.0 defender I get to the rest of the team.

Just caught up on the scoutcast. Interesting chat about loading up on premiums and having an unbalanced squad. That has been my tactic all season and it’s serving me well. The difficult is chasing the right captain with so many options though.

I'm switching to that strategy on WC for GW9. My problem is always wanting my targets to stay quiet before the WC. Don't want their prices rising all outta control before then.

For C purposes, you just gotta try and make the best educated pick and live with the results.

I used this strategy last year and I peaked at OR of 245 in GW 14 I think. I was on a Leicester triple up which is in part what helped me to that rank. This year I'm going to that move with Villa to fund the premiums. Obviously. they've already been really good but I hope they stay just quiet enough over the next 3 so as to not completely explode.

Great fixtures and frankly is a cheaper grelish, as would certainly prefer him, but the points gained by McGinn speak for themselves imho. Did the same last season if you remember and ticked along nicely. So that's why he's in. The best 5.5 mid by some distance.

I remember someone working out the likelihood of players getting injured during a week, which was low, justifying early transfers. It's a gamble (and I've been stung before expecting price changes which never happened) but it seems a fairly safe bet to go for it. Just as a suggestion for 'C', I can see the Liverpool SHU match being the big scorer - how about Barnes to Mane?

      Or Davies to Robbo

Cheers - the Mane option in particular would be a very interesting differential, and worth considering. I think even with the small risk, A is the relatively 'safe' option. My rival WC'd into the Kane+Son combo (I still have my WC available) and I think I need to match that for now, with their form and fixtures. My big differentials to him are Werner and TAA, so hopefully Chelsea keep scoring and Werner continues to play up front.

I agree. Sometimes when the numbers line up it feels like a sign to do it. Think it's the right move - Mitro is a liability and Kane is gold. Good luck with Werner. I yo-yo-ed with him at the wrong time. His past record looks amazing - would expect him to be one of the top players by the end of the season. Good luck!

Any Sterling owners worried about benching vs West Ham? He played 90 both on the weekend and tonight and they play on Saturday 12.30pm.

If they were on their usual form, I’d be fairly certain of a benching but his importance especially with KDB missing and the fact that they need to improve their form makes it more difficult to predict it for me.

This is the same question we've had for the past 3 seasons. As always the answer is, nobody knows.

I think he plays. They need to get in gear and his fitness is repeatedly brought up by Pep

    Which option is best guys??.

    Martinez (steer)
    Saiss, Robbo, Chilwell (lamptey, Mitchell)
    Podence, Foden, Son, Salah, Grealish
    DCL, Jimmy (Brewster)

    A) Podence > James
    B) Jimi > Kane
    C) Do both for -4

      Podence > ASM / Mcginn
      Mitro > Werner

I know its kind of random but if I do 1 2night, I will hopefully be able to do the other next week

I have Mitro the big useless lump. If you want to save 0.1M get him out tonight. I have Podence but will keep him against Newcastle. I'm going to get him gone for Barkley soon though.

      Kane/Jimenez/Werner

      Steer McCarthy/Douglas/James*

Is Mitro+ Justin to Kane+ Kilman -4 a good move. Not so convinced with Jimmy to Kane. Also do I do it now or wait for Europa league as Mitro is set to drop.

Yes, but only if Kilman is not going to be a starting defender every week.

If you saw Jimi’s last performance you’d be convinced...not even sure he touched the ball for the first 60 minutes

What to do here? 4.7 ITB 1FT

      Ryan
      Digne Saiss KWP
      Salah Son Podence Grealish
      Werner Jimi Mitro

      McCarthy Bissouma Justin Ferg

      A) Mitro —> Aguero (free)
      B) Jimi —> Kane
      C) Something else. Happy to take a -4

Kane. Because you'll captain him the following two weeks as well. Although I'm futilely hoping for Burnley to show up defensively.

Burnely can't score though and I like his attacking potential. I do worry about lamp getting subbed.
