Solskjaer turns to midfield diamond as Willian and Holding return for Arsenal

The penultimate Premier League match on Sunday sees Manchester United play host to Arsenal.

Kick-off at Old Trafford is at 16:30 GMT.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seemingly jettisoned natural width in favour of a midfield diamond for this clash, having used that set-up in the Champions League in midweek.

Scott McTominay (£4.9m) returns to the centre of midfield alongside Fred (£5.3m) and Paul Pogba (£7.8m), with Bruno Fernandes (£10.5m) playing just behind a front two of Marcus Rashford (£9.6m) and Mason Greenwood (£7.2m).

Anthony Martial (£8.7m) is still suspended while Edinson Cavani (£8.0m) is only among the substitutes.

Arsenal have made 10 alterations from the win over Dundalk on Thursday, with only Mohamed Elneny (£4.4m) keeping his place.

Compared to Gameweek 6, however, there are only three changes, with Dani Ceballos (£5.0m), Granit Xhaka (£5.4m) and the injured David Luiz (£5.5m) missing out.

Rob Holding (£4.4m) makes a surprise return to the starting XI despite having initially been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring issue, with Willian (£7.8m) also back from a calf problem.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.7m) again starts out wide for Mikel Arteta’s troops.

He has now blanked four Gameweeks in a row, which represents his worst run in FPL since moving to England over two years ago.

Fernandes, the only United player who boasts a double-digit ownership in FPL, has never blanked two games in a row since joining United earlier this year.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Pogba, McTominay; Fernandes, Rashford, Greenwood.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Elneny, Partey, Willian, Aubameyang, Saka, Lacazette.

    McCarthy*(Steer)
    TAA* Saiss* KWP(Justin)(Mitchell*)
    Salah Son Grealish Hamez *(Bissouma)
    Kane Ings* Maupay*

I really want to use WC, but if I wait next week then maybe I can sell Son and Kane also, so should I just take 2 punts this week and then WC next week?

Should I consider something like Ings to Werner and Maupay to Haller maybe?

Such a weird season to navigate.

I was thinking Grealish was gone from my squad with 20mins to go. Then he scored 15pts.

DCL? Out. You're having a laugh. Then he scored 8pts.

Was thinking Rashford in. On fire. Then he scored 2pts.

    It's a serious headf*ck.

They were poor. Dcl hardly had a touch. Have to consider that Hamez Rich and Digne were all missing though and DCL still managed a goal.

They were awful. DCL had little but he's a poacher and can score from a half chance. No intention to get rid of him.

That said, they had Coleman, Digne, Richarlison and Rodriguez out. That's a huge loss. 4 of their most important players.

Graham Potter has been explaining his decision to start inexperienced Spanish keeper Robert Sanchez for Brighton ahead of Mat Ryan at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Sanchez, 22, is making his first Premier League appearance after spending last season in League One at Rochdale on loan.

"It’s a breather for Maty, who has played a lot of football over the last two or three years and I’m looking forward to seeing Rob," said Potter.

"Rob is a young goalkeeper with some fantastic attributes and we think he can help us in this game."

There's plenty of ppl with Ings, Maupay, Pulisic etc. and one (or 2) Pool def and they prob dont have 2FT..., or WC left so ok to keep TAA.

You might be able to sort out without a hit but if you want to keep your wc you could take hit too

    A) Saiss > Chilwell
    B) Saiss + Foden > Coufal + Ziyech -4

Probably the only 2 moves I'm really considering.

Definitely won't be saving here while Saiss is in my team.

      How did Ziyech play?
The stats and heatmap aren't that impressive.

      I like Chilwell so A.

      A) Looking at keeping Foden until I downgrade Kane. Then could upgrade Foden to KDB/Bruno/Sterling. I may be wrong but still not convinced by Ziyech. Too many Chelsea players without one focal point that we know will score

Yeah I suppose. Ziyech is also awkward price if he doesn't work.
