Euro 2012 – Fantasy League Pro Update

As many of you may already have noticed, our coverage for next month’s Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine will also take in the Fantasy League Pro auction game. Yesterday saw us appeal for managers to fill the three Fantasy Football Scout leagues and, with only eight managers per league, the places quickly filled up. Here’s who made the cut:

FFScout League 1

The auction-based game seems to have caught the interest of many on the boards and with the game free-to-play, we intend to offer plenty coverage over the course of the tournament.

While we will obviously analyse the official Scout leagues and report on events as they unfold, we’d also like you to get involved.

According to Norwegian newspapers, Solskjær has a signed a new contract with Molde where he agrees to not apply for the Villa job and finish the two upcoming seasons n Molde, unless if he gets an offer from Man United, in which case he will be allowed to leave. Next season he will be allowed to talk to PL-clubs, but if he leaves, the PL-club would have to pay some kind of compensation-fee, unless its Man United, then he can go free of charge. He will also get some extra money from the owners to invest in a new striker for Molde.

    Your allowed 3 fullbacks, you can have 5 if you like. Don't have to have CBs just have to be defenders. Is this what you meant?

  Hi Sam, stop lurking and get posting, if we were all lurkers scout would be dead.
  Team looks standard not sure if Abate starts. IMO assists could be more difficult to get because of the rules so maybe look to strengthen up front for definates goals, eg mullet/llorente who are in for the long haul and heading towards 5 goals , tbh the friendliest should reveal more , keep in mind the recovered balls rule 5=1pt. Looks good tho.

    thanks for the advice hvt. Haha, will endeavor posting more. Overwhelming with so many different posters throughout regular season. Looks like not as many with the EPL season over? Yeah I thought my strikers were weak. At the same time, I like my midfield: Nasri in particular with potential penalty taking. I think I might try and get some cash from the defense. Who to downgrade: Kadlec or Pischek? Alba stays... CBs aren't any cheaper. What about Zhirkov? Whose going to start in the centre with Berezusky injured? Alesksei?

  i'd say that good defenders are a better option.
  
  a lot of people are planning to play the 2-5-3 formation in the (slightly misguided) notion that their midfielders will perform like they do in FPL but the rules for an assist make it more difficult to score points in this game.

        You can sub players in for players that have not played, so no use in having 2 keepers playing on same day since you only have 1 keeper spot in your team.
        
        So you cant play a keeper, he scores 2, and then sub in the keeper that got 6.
        
        in short, your keepers need to play on diff days.

Can anyone enlighten me about the captaincy rule please. So if I (c) Ldowski on the first day and he did f all, I can change it to..say RVPXavi who's playing on the next day? and if he also did jack, I can change it AGAIN to anyone who hasn't play yet (eg Ibra, who's playing on the last day)?

      Hey, I have a soft spot for Podolski after he kicked my off to a great start in Euro 2008. Thanks to him I won my ML. In 2008 he was flying a bit under the radar.
      
      This time around I think everyone is aware of the Jerries and their talent.
      
      I will have to monitor friendlies, but I actually fancy Muller more this time. Podolski sometimes "gets lost"in a game where he doesn't feature or gets the ball, sort of 'lazy' if you know what I mean. Anyway that's what I remember from WC2010. He did have a good domestic season though.

  Yeah, Rommedahl did well in Quals but surely he's the first man hauled off if they need to change things and we haven't had any quals for 6 months or more.
  
  1 or 2 of them may go on and do well but I'd much rather have Ibrahimovic, Robben & Jelavic.
  
  I know Klose did well in the qualifiers but I'd be surprised if he's ahead of Gomez / Muller / Podolski

    Bonucci is fine, as is Reveillere, contrary to opinion on here. Kuyt is nailed on, but may go for Cassano anyway. Klose is written off every tournament. It would be funny if it were not so sad. However, I may need the money, so he may be Podolski.
    
    Dennis is the only punt - and he may well score two in the first.

    Yup, bit amateurish of me... started filling my squad from the GK then Def, Mid etc. Got a bit short on cash when I reached the strikers but was quite happy with the overall team. Might take a bit of cash out of the Midfield to improve this situation. RVP?
