Considering the Gunners’ offer impressive form, an appealing fixture but only one match in Double Gameweek 19, they are prime candidates for Fantasy Premier League managers playing their Free Hit chip.

We have run the numbers on Mikel Arteta’s men ahead of their meeting with Crystal Palace to find the best options, looking at individual form as well as how the Eagles have fared defensively of late.

      Don't really have the need to claim 5 minutes of fame in such way. Problem with above slogan is that only few understands the meaning\origins of it and the rest is simply mindlessly repeating it thinking its fun not really knowing much about it.

This potential AVL-TOT postponement is a massive win for those who planned FH18 and FreeTransfers19 all along.

My FreeTransfers18 and FH19 strategy is in absolute shambles because of this.

I can't see how I'm going to get out of this unless I play a premature Wildcard GW18 and pray I can navigate GW26-29 with FTs

  It works both ways to be honest. I’m very frustrated as I have 11 players without free hit if the game is on, but if it’s off I have only 6. Just can’t take this season seriously really.
  
  Those who planned to free hit in 18 though probably don’t have many Man City or Villa players. City will have a DGW, Villa maybe a triple.

  Do you have both Kane and Son - originally my main concern in not playing any chips was the likelihood that many FH teams would have both ~ So I was desperate for a Kane blank

  Well... That strategy has failed for me many times already. Got Podence over Soucek (and made the mistake named Jamal Lewis, my fault only though). Then had total of 5 MCI + Spurs players when match was cancelled and those two mentioned above and Brewster as my bench cover.
  
  So yes, I made perhaps one bad transfer, but total cost with this strategy has been already very high. So basically I don't care anymore. I will probably just take -8 and improve my team. FH now isn't worth it and most of the damage has been already done.

      Well, I got 28 pts and worst GR ever, over 6 million. But yes, all chips intact, so the only thing to do is to wait for better time to use them. There is at least a glimmer of hope left. (Well, actually there isn't anymore, but...)

Apparently the 16 Villa players who tested negative for Covid on January 4 are likely to play against Spurs on Wednesday, according to BirminghamLive.
