Using FFS data and tools to find the best De Bruyne replacement for Gameweek 20

Just when Fantasy Premier League managers thought they could breathe and relax after Double Gameweek 19, many of us now have injury problems to solve.

Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) has been ruled out for “four to six weeks” with a muscular injury and needs replacing.

When these sorts of developments occur, there is a fantastic opportunity for Fantasy managers. With everyone going in a different direction from a common player all at once, the potential for green arrows goes up – if you can make the right choice. And, because Gameweeks 20 to 23 take place in a span of 14 days, the FPL landscape is going to change very quickly.

Accordingly, I have gone over some De Bruyne replacements to help you make the right choice ahead of Gameweek 20. As this uses extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

    Martinez
    Tierney Stones Targett
    Salah Son Fernandes(c) Gundogun Grealish
    Kane Antonio

    Sanchez Mitchell Justin Brewster

Current WC team but just read Tierney maybe out injured, so

Tierney > Shaw then back a in a week or so?

Can't afford a city defender? If not than shaw is a good option

    Martinez
    Stones Coufal Dallas
    Salah Fernandes Grealish Soucek
    Antonio Kane Bamford

    Forster;Mitchell, KDB*, KWP*
    * both injured.
0.5mill in the bank and 0FT.

Is it worth taking a hit? For example:
KDB to son, or KWP to Shaw

We think Pep is bad but imagine trying to pick a player from a team in FPL that has made 118 changes so far this season and has changed its entire first XI 4 times

It's not that complex. He has two XIs. So if he plays one, you can just bench them the week after. That's almost more predictable than Pep.

    2 FT, 0.4 ITB

    Martinez
    Jones, Konsa, Justin
    Son, Fernandes, Grealish, KdB
    Bamford, Kane, Wilson

    Sub : KWP, Mitchell, Soucek

    A) KdB > Salah, Gundo, Sterling or Zaha ?
    B) KWP > Shaw, Dallas, Coufal or Creswell ?
    C) Wilson > Antonio or DCL ?

Note that if I want to take Salah, I have to change Soucek with ESR for economic reason

    AB, AC,BC or ABC (-4) ?

    B) Mane to Gundogan (get Son next week before Brighton, for Soucek)
    C) Save and give Mane one last game.
