Using FFS data and tools to find the best De Bruyne replacement for Gameweek 20

Just when Fantasy Premier League managers thought they could breathe and relax after Double Gameweek 19, many of us now have injury problems to solve.

Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) has been ruled out for “four to six weeks” with a muscular injury and needs replacing.

When these sorts of developments occur, there is a fantastic opportunity for Fantasy managers. With everyone going in a different direction from a common player all at once, the potential for green arrows goes up – if you can make the right choice. And, because Gameweeks 20 to 23 take place in a span of 14 days, the FPL landscape is going to change very quickly.

Accordingly, I have gone over some De Bruyne replacements to help you make the right choice ahead of Gameweek 20. As this uses extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

          Yeah I think I agree. Usually lean towards playing the attacker but Newcastle have been awful. Seems like the kind of game Leeds can dominate.

                Right. Doesn't look like very clinical, but I liked his movement and hold up play. He is now becoming an all rounder, which will only add to his appeal.

                    Thank you for your response. Was considering Grealish but he doesn't feel explosive. I know DCL isn't either but with Digne and James back he could be a good differential. If Gundo not as attacking I will downgrade a forward and upgrade to Leicester or Grealish. Gundo a punt.

                    Who is more likely to keep a clean sheet this week? Sure WBA might score but City have been solid recently and Cancelo so attacking I would argue he's the best defender for this week by a long way
