Double Gameweek 24 teams: Fulham – best FPL players, form, fixtures and stats

Fulham come under the spotlight as we begin our team-by-team look at the four clubs with two fixtures in Double Gameweek 24.

The Cottagers, who are still languishing in the bottom three of the Premier League table, have a double-header against Everton and Burnley in the upcoming Gameweek.

The extra match hasn’t led to a surge in demand from the Fantasy Premier League community and not one member of Scott Parker’s side features in the top 40 for transfers in ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

Is there anything to like about the west London club from an FPL perspective, then? We assess their credentials in the Premium Members article below.

THE FORM

Having started the season in poor shape and shipping goals for fun, Fulham have been a tougher nut to crack over the last 13 Gameweeks.

The Cottagers have only been beaten four times in that period, with all of those defeats coming against clubs currenly in the top five.

Parker’s troops have been holding their own against the rest of the division, failing to concede more than two goals in a match since Gameweek 9 – so anyone expecting a bloodbath at Goodison Park on Sunday may be disappointed, although it should be said that Everton were the last team to score three past the Cottagers.

Indeed, from Gameweek 12 onwards, only Manchester City (three) and Arsenal (nine) have conceded on fewer occasions than Fulham (10).

Source: SoccerStats

The defensive improvements haven’t translated into victories, though.

Fulham are on the longest winless run in the top flight, despite losing fewer matches than the likes of Spurs and Chelsea in that time.

Their problem is evident in the table above: with only six goals in their last 12 outings, they are the lowest scorers in the top flight over the period studied.

Would you change anything with bench and the order? (1FT, 5.0itb)

    Martinez
    Dias* Cancelo* Digne* Mee*
    Salah Bruno Grealish Gundagon* (c)
    DCL* Watkins

    - Coufal Rafinha Wood*

I am not WC until after 29th, hence thinking it's a waste of 5.5 for a rotating GK, will get Areola or Mccarthy if they get the double for my BB in 26.

I’ve considered Johnstone > Areola this week for the same reasons but the extra FT will come in handy for 25/26.

How this for a plan for 24 - 26 without WC

    GW24 Salah & Wilson > Gundogan & Kane (2FT)
    GW25 Saka/Soucek > Raphinha
    GW26 -4 hit for 2 DGWers & Kane (TC)

    Rest of Team

    Martinez Johnstone

    Dias Coufal Stones Dallas Mee

    Salah Rashford Saka Fernandes Soucek

    Watkins DCL Wlison

    2.7 ITB 2FTs TC/BB left

Any ideas would be welcomed because I am at a loss at the moment on what to do re DGW planning

I like those moves - Salah out makes watching Liverpool games excruciating - but I think he's possibly avoidable until GW31

And not having opens up a lot of doors with all these doubles

Not many looking at using the TC chip this week but if you put 2 of Gundogan’s recent consecutive scores together and x by 3 you’ll end up with a score that beats most TCs most years.

    Martinez (Forster)
    Cancelo, Stones, Coufal (Dallas, Douglas)
    Salah, Bruno, Son, Gundogan, Grealish
    DCL, Bamford (Antonio)

With 2FT + 5.1 itb plan was to transfer:
    Forster + Douglas > Pope + Digne
    and BB this week

Now that Antonio is flagged what should I do? Stick to BB plan? Other transfer ideas?

Not sure I understand the rush to get DCL.

On average, Fulham have conceded less than 1 goal a game in the last 10 matches and restricted Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea to a solitary goal.

After Fulham, Everton have City at home and Liverpool away...

Fulham concede a lot of chances in the 6 yard box and I believe DCL has the most from that area

    3. Fit_to_drop
      • 4 Years
      3 years, 2 months ago

This and the fact that 1 of his games is against City. If Antonio was declared fit, I would say its almost a straight up match between him and DCL in terms of who scores more for DGW24 with DCL having an almost automatic +2 for the 2nd fixture.

    4. Camzy
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

DCL is very likely to double in 24 and 26. The 26 double especially looks very good (SOU + wba/avl)

That alone makes him very valuable. He's also one of the top scorers this season, affordable price. It's pretty straight forward really.

    5. CONNERS
      • 5 Years
      3 years, 2 months ago

For clarity, I'm not doubting DCL's value or points tally, my point was specifically regarding the next three games which don't look overly attractive.

I will likely be bringing him in for GW26 pending the DGW outcome (along with Kane of course).

If you plan to WC25/26 and already have 2 Leeds players, is there a case to use 2FTs this GW on switching to two City mids?

Aggressive option - Stones and Soucek to Lowton and Sterling (2FTs)
Safe option - Johnstone to Pope and roll 2nd FT

    2FT 6.7itb

    Bamford Antonio DCL

Well thank you very much for answering. You might just persuaded me to go for Bamford instead of Son.
My defence is Digne, Cancelo, Stones, Creswell, Lowton.
I think that Creswell is a better option than Raphihna.
