Who are the best Everton players to own for FPL Double Gameweek 24?

Everton come under the spotlight as we begin our team-by-team look at the four clubs with two fixtures in Double Gameweek 24.

After a flying start to the season, the Toffees have endured a mixed run of form and face-off against Fulham and Manchester City in Double Gameweek 24.

The 500,000 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players who have brought Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m) into their teams for the double now face an anxious wait after the striker was substituted off with a hamstring injury in their FA Cup clash with Spurs.

With other assets like Richarlison (£7.8m), James Rodriguez (£7.7m) and Lucas Digne (£6.1m) receiving some attention, we are assessing Everton’s FPL credentials using Opta data.

As this article uses a significant amount of information from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

THE FORM

Everton started the season as unlikely title contenders after a series of impressive results.

After scoring 14 goals in their first five Gameweeks, Calvert-Lewin was a fixture in nearly every team, with Rodriguez and Digne also picking up a decent following.

But injuries to key players saw the Toffees drop out of form, with Carlo Ancelotti choosing a more defensive style of play to grind out victories.

However, recent results and a return to form for Calvert-Lewin, who failed to score a single goal from Gameweek 12 to Gameweek 21, have seen a resurgence in Everton ownership.

What players would you transfer out and bring in with 3FTs (can include hits) from now to DGW26 without using WC? Still have WC2, FH and TC.

    1. Cresswell/Digne to Dallas or Shaw
    2. Antonio to Kane
    3. DCL to Watkins
    4. Soucek to Grealish (-4)

TC Pope. It has shades of TC Dunk but...

I think he’s got a floor of 10 points (very confident on 1 clean sheet). No Zaha for the away game and they’re rock solid at home v a poor Fulham side.

2 clean sheets probably gets him 18+.

I’m not confident on any city player for a double. Spurs potentially get a nice double for Kane but arnt scoring many goals.

The more I look at the fixtures likely to go ahead in blank GW29 the more I think I can navigate it without using a chip. This opens up the possibility of using my FH chip in GW26. Hmmm.

Crossed my mind as well. No BB left, but by FH in GW26 one can put maximum budget into starting 11, and also react to late injuries or Covid. Otoh, most should be able to field a decenr dgw26 team from current team

Based on the predicted fixtures (thank you Ben Crellin and Legoman).

I could play a wildcard now and get a nice team which had

    11 DGW players for 26
8 BGW players ready which can easily be upped to 11 with transfers
    5 DGW 24 players and
    2 DGW 25 players

    Here's the team

    Areola Sanchez
    Cresswell Stones Cancelo Lowton/Target Dallas
    Salah Fernandes Son Gundagon Jorginho
    Kane Watkins Bamford

I'm really tempted to pull the trigger now

    Anyone else looked at this?

I no longer think I need to WC out of BGW 29 as I'm happy to loose Salah for Grelish around this period. Happy to have 5 players from VIlla and Spurs going forward and there's plenty of good GW29 players to have going forward.
