Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout can now get their own Transfer Planner to help with their Fantasy Premier League (FPL) preparations for the 2021/22 season.

In a laboratory nestled deep under Scout Towers for the last few months, our very own Az has been joined by Rob and James, the brains behind the Championship Manager FPL game, in concocting a Transfer Planner exclusively for Fantasy Football Scout subscribers.

FPL pre-season: Trossard hits hat-trick from wing-back role 1

The Planner allows you to enter your FPL team as it currently is and then to set to work on what you would like it to become over the next few weeks, taking account of transfers, captaincies, chips and formation preferences.

The road ahead is kept up to date for you via a link to the Fantasy Football Scout Season Ticker and, if you think we’ve been a little too harsh on the Burnley attack or not given the Southampton defence enough credit, you can tweak the ratings to your satisfaction (or wildest dreams, as appropriate).

HOW TO USE IT

To get started, you fill in your player selections in the dropdown at the top of each player box on the Planner tab. Typing in the first few letters of a player name, or even “4.5” or “MUN” brings up a relevant shortlist to choose from.

Those same dropdown boxes are used to select your potential transfer targets in the columns for coming Gameweeks and your proposed starting XIs are indicated by tick boxes. Your transfer plans will be neatly summarised via In and Out sections at the foot of each Gameweek column.

If you want to narrow your focus to the next couple of unusual Gameweeks or jump ahead to consider the consequences of a hit there are “+” and “-” options for hiding and re-showing columns at the top of the Planner and Fixture Ticker tabs.

If your chosen FPL device doesn’t have an attached keyboard then downloading Google’s “Sheets” tab provides full functionality for mobiles and tablets.

HOW TO GET ONE

You’ll need to be an FFS Member to request your Transfer Planner. A link to the request form is available at the left-hand side of the Premium Members area. Fill that out and your sheet will be on its way, though please be patient during this initial release as each one must currently be despatched manually.

Once your Transfer Planner arrives, it may take 20-30 seconds to load when you first use it. The Transfer Planner needs an internet connection to stay active and may sometimes need to be refreshed to re-establish the link.

We genuinely think we’ve created something that’s simple, clean and that Fantasy managers will really benefit from using. Fill in the form now to start sorting your Jotas from your Willocks and paving the way for that pre-planned early Wildcard.

    Let's go

    Sanchez
    TAA, Shaw, Coufal, Tsimiki
    Salah, Bruno, Mahrez, Barnes
    Antonio, Ings

    Foster, White, Brownhill, Perica

A little risky, but I'm planning on rolling a ft to GW3, and then downgrade Barnes to a 6.0, so I could get Son for Mahrez.

Decent that - I'm tempted to do similar but it means losing Toney, which I'm not prepared to do presently

    Thoughts on this team?

    Sanchez

    TAA , Shaw , Coufal

    Bruno , Salah , Barnes , Jota

    Toney , Antonio , Wilson

    (Foster , Gilmour , Duffy , White)

same team as mine with the exception of Toney, Wilson and Gilmour vs Ings, Benhrama and fodder. I like it

Digne. Fixtures are insane (including defender-less Southampton first), and he's more attacking and on set pieces.

If WC GW3, then maybe gamble on Mahrez.
But I figured I definitely want Son by GW3, and he might do well vs City and Wolves, so starting with him.
Prefer not to have to bank a transfer (or even 2 to get the funds) so I'm more free to get on bandwagons, or deal with injuries.
You also can't completely rule out a Mahrez benching v Norwich.

Thoughts on this? Planning to use BB GW2 as I feel the fixtures are generally a bit nicer.

    Sanchez Raya
    TAA Shaw Chilwell Veltman Tsimikas
    Salah Grealish Barnes Harrison Bowen
    Antonio Ings Watkins

    0.5 ITB

Waiting for the conference for Chilwell, downgrading him means I could upgrade Bowen

Are any of these players NOT starting? Another man's bench fodder might be my starting team!

    a) Coufal
    b) Tsimikas
    c) Veltman
    d) White
    e) Brownhill
    f) Omobamidele

    How does it look?

    Sanchez - Foster
    TAA - Shaw - Veltman - Ayling - Tsimikas
    Salah - Fernandes - Havertz - Benrahma - Mbeumo
    Wilson - Antonio - Perica

Kept 1,5ITB to spend what is hopefully one of two FT on Havertz->Son in GW3.

I think Jesus get like 65% of games but i can see him playing around with a shadow striker with that spot being shared between KDB, Ferran and Sterling

Not a City expert, but Jesus isn't exactly a Pep favourite at the moment? I'm planning a similar gamble on Torres, he's occasionally played very high up for both City and Spain.

Any 4.5gks worth getting other than Sanchez/Bachmann?

Like Brighton defenders more at 4.5 and don't want to double up while Foster's ownership and potential price drop makes me not want Watford keepers

      Digne and Raphinha for me.
Raph is proven (vs Sarr), and Digne has brilliant fixtures. Don't think West Ham defence will be as strong this year.

Are we sleeping on Chelsea assets a bit due to fixtures? European and super cup champions and the BBC pundits have made their predictions for the season and quite a few of them are backing Chelsea to win the league.

Rotation from Tuchel putting people off?
