Last chance to get Scout Premium Membership for discounted price

Due to popular demand and taking inspiration from soft furniture retailer sales across the land, we are pleased to say that Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2021/22 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £20 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users until the start of the September international break to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premium Memberships will rise to the regular season price on Thursday.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee works out at an equivalent of less than £1.67 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are currently offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

SIGN UP FOR THE NEW SEASON HERE

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (see below) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £6k-worth of prizes in the 2021/22 campaign – more details of that available here.

HOW CAN SCOUT MEMBERSHIP HELP MY FPL TEAM?

You’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former FPL winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of Fantasy bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

MEMBERS-ONLY ARTICLES AND ADVICE

Ex-FPL winner Simon March: How to avoid getting carried away with your GW1 picks

You’ll get exclusive content, advice and team reveals from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser, six-time top 5k finisher Zophar, 2020/21 FanTeam winner Josh Wooldridge and four-time Sky top 50 finisher Niall Murphy – amongst others.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply weekly video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

We have regular Members-only articles, too, such as Captain Sensible, which provides in-depth analysis on the top contenders for the armband every Gameweek.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for Gameweek 4 and beyond, so you can head over there now to start importing your teams and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score and which players you should bench.

SEASON TICKER

Our Season Ticker can help you sort by opponent difficulty to spot those upcoming fixture swings, while you can also find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Wolves, for example, have leapt to the top of our Season Ticker after a tricky start – but there are some tough games ahead for Aston Villa.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

TRANSFER PLANNER

Not being able to see your team in future Gameweeks is a common criticism of FPL but with our Transfer Planner, which comes free with a Premium Membership, you can do just that.

Plan your transfers and starting XIs for Gameweek 4 and beyond by moving players in and out of your side.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Stuck between two potential transfer targets for the upcoming Gameweek? Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics and graphics to study side by side.

If you’re using our new beta site, you can draw statistical comparisons in more a more visually appealing manner, too.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

From goal threat to expected data, there are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

Our ‘per 90′ tickbox allows you to sort players’ stats per 90 minutes, too, to level the playing field for those assets with differing amounts of game-time.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Want to know where it went right and wrong in previous Gameweeks?

We’ve got analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and a collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers to help with FPL team planning.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

GAMEWEEK DASHBOARD

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership 11

Enter your FPL ID for personalised visuals and check your live rank as the Gameweek progresses.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool helps subscribers to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition for those close captaincy calls – and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez (£7.5m) famously did in 2018/19.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Premium Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Wildcard or take a hit to get Ronaldo/Lukaku and Torres/Mount
    in for Bruno and Ings?

It appears lots of people have forgotten how good Fernandez has been since he arrived due to Ron and a couple blanks. I expect both of them to do very well so I’m not rushing to get Ron in for him.

I also think DCL for Ings is a great move with that team and prefer him over Torres and Mount for the next few weeks at least.

People are worried that Ronaldo will take penalties and free kicks from Fernandes which make up a large part of his points return

Yeh that’s a fair call, he will definitely take some if not all.

But Bruno also now has Ron to finish all his creation which may help him. I’m not saying Ron isn’t going to be amazing in FPL, but I usually stay away from new signings until they bed in and going to do the same here.

      Meslier
      TAA Robbo Reece Semedo (Livra)
      Salah Raphinha Sarr (Allan Gilmour)
      Ronaldo Bamford Jimenez

Pretty much template apart from Robbo instead of Torres/Jota. Robbo will be Chilwell in GW7 for double Chelsea defence.

Pulling the trigger early on removing the West Ham guys (if you have them now). Could work, but their form is so good I want to hold as long as I can and wait and see how Europe impacts them.

I like the Robbo move! I’m thinking about getting him for GW5 as well by taking Son out to free up funds.

Yeh I saw it was GW5. Still risky taking in form players out of your team, but I understand the logic if you’re worried about Europe impact.

I’d just prefer keeping them for now. For instance… Sarr and Jimi have great upcoming fixtures, but Jimi in particular hasn’t got the returns yet and that may continue. Losing Antonio for him is a big risk.

Fair Enough mate. An extremely valid point there.
Although Jimenez has been doing well in the stats. Most chances created out of all forwards. He is less injury prone too. And the fixtures are the biggest plus. But we will see. Long way to GW5. Thanks a ton!

      Hi all.

So my plan was to bring in DCL for Ings this week, but if Ings drops in price I won’t be able to afford it. Should I make the change now or not?

Never too happy bringing in a flagged player, which is my main concern. Plus I’d prefer to hold my transfer until after all the internationals in case of other injuries.

      1. Stamford B

It would be best to wait and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see much less rises and fallers now until before the deadline. That is the usual way of an international break and the figures are skewed due to the amount of wildcards.
Of course I could be wrong.

Ah yes you make a great point! I have had Ings from the start and forgot he has already had a rise. This makes my decision to wait much easier as one drop won’t screw me. Thanks!

Cheers. I do like Jimi as an option as well, but he’s just not getting the returns. Doesn’t feel right bringing in a striker whose team hasn’t scored a goal all season! Even though they have looked surprisingly good on the counter.

Really thinking about Jimenez instead of DCL. Both similar players, in the sense they both won't score more than a single goal(or a brace at most) when they do, and Jimi is way cheaper. And the way Wolves have been playing, think he starts scoring sooner rather than later.

      1. El Matador
        • 10 Years

Jimi certainly is a good option. Some might argue wait until he hits form but with them fixtures it is worth the risk imo.

Think I'm going to do the same as I'm 0.2m short of DCL. Still some uncertainty over Jimmy following his comeback from the head injury but the fixtures don't come much better than those coming up. Worth the risk IMO.

Jimi is one that I like, but doesn’t feel right bringing in a striker from a team who haven’t scored a goal all season even if they have actually looked very good on the counter. However he’s definitely an interesting differential with those fixtures.

I’d be surprised if Fifa banned them from playing in the PL, but they may force the PL to release them for the next international break.

That’s just a complete guess though. No idea how it will pan out! Covid has certainly changed FPL on top of everything else it has done.

Your defence really suffers with the 3 big hitters, but it’s the risk you take to get them in. Can see weeks where you dominate by having all 3 of those and weeks where you struggle because of the depth in the team. I’d prefer losing Lukaku for now and spreading funds, then see what you think from GW7 when his fixtures turn.

      2. Gingerman
        • 4 Years

2 big hitters is enough, can't captain them all. So many good options elsewhere your missing out on, Son, Torres, DCL, Jota, Greenwood, Benrahma, Reguilon, Cancelo, Rudiger. And you can't move easily to upgrade your cheapo's

Compare it to a team without Ronaldo and/or Lukaku. Balance will be better. Your midfield and defence are suffering to accomodate them. Will give you plenty of GWs where they bring high points but they'll be so highly owned that they may not bring big OR increases.

It's a big no from me, you need to set your team for the long run if using your WC this early.

Marcal is long term unknown, Duffy Liv the same
Sarr Gray Allan looks pretty awful

Morning guys, should I hold onto this team a bit longer or press the wc?

      Sanchez
      TAA, Coufal, White
      Salah, Bruno, Barnes*, Benrahma
      DCL, Ings*, Antonio

      Steele, Tsimi*, Ayling, Brownhill
      0.3 itb
      * players i would like to get rid of (Ings possibly an exception, i can hold onto him for a while longer)
1 free transfer (if not WC-ing, i will probably do Barnes>Raphinha)

I cannot stand having Barnes in my team for a second longer, so ft will most definitely be spent on removing him. Ings gets my benefit of a doubt by returning for 3 weeks straight, so may as well hold onto him after Chelsea

If I don’t get Ronaldo I would probably captain Salah instead of Bruno now due to the unclear penalty situation. So it comes down to what scores more:

      A) Ronaldo (NEW) x2
      B)

Hi guys and good luck for the next GW,

I know its another RMT, but please give me a second to give me your opinion its much appreciated:

      Sanchez (Steele)
      Trent, Shaw, Tierney (Williams, Livramento)
      Salah, Greenwood, Jota, Torres, Benny
      Ronaldo, Antonio (Davis)

I wanted to fit in DCL, but no chance of that.
Going to swap Benny for Raphinha in GW5 if available
And GW 7 swap Ronaldo and Shaw for Lukaku and James
Have I overlooked anything, or any players you would replace.

      Thanks

        Sanchez is weak imo

I think now is the time to have a bit more cash in defence, there is value there - 5.0 keeper is the way forwards

Taa is a must, shaw probably now Varane is in the mix add to that chelsea and city assets

Very close to mine, I'm going for Rom over Ron but have the same midfield with money ITB for Benny to Raph in 5

I see nothing in Tierney personally, an injury prone Arsenal defender... I would downgrade him to a 4.5 and upgrade one of your 4.0's to a 4.5 also. Coady and Ayling maybe. You need a strong bench with Greenwood Jota Torres.

I didn't need to WC really but Greenwood was punishing me and rising fast, Tsimi is dropping, Jota looking great, want rid of Toney and Ings, want Lukaku to rotate with Salah and i want to do it before my rivals so i can make up ground on them!

Yep both my 50/50's failed and have put me on the back foot, Toney and Raph. What have been your main issues?

Currently on the below with 0.7 ITB of which some will be used to do Benny to Raph for 5. Seen a lot of people saying to go with a 5.0m keeper but i just dont get it, they're not doing well?

Might be totally wrong, but I have a feeling that regarding Bruno vs Ronaldo penalty situation, they will come to agreement that Bruno will continue to take them until he misses one, then its Ronnie's time. I don't see Bruno as a type of person who will just plainly hand all of his dead set duties to Ronaldo, regardless of how they take it in Portugal

It’s clear that Ronaldo will take them. He takes them for national team, his hunger and ego, for goals will dictate it. He wants to score the most possible and pens are easy chance to do so. There’s literally no doubt IMO

Everything is possible. The fact that Bruno doesn't miss his penalties is a problem for this theory. They must have been discussing about this themselves. Bruno has been whining and in bad mood, zero idea why, but losing penalties is one explanation 😉

Good transfer window: Man Utd, West Ham

      Bad transfer window: Norwich, Southampton

Personally think Chelsea or City have to make a major signing like Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Neymar to have a 'good' transfer window.

Lukaku and Grealish aren't at that level. City and Chelsea are the two best teams in the PL. Man Utd have got closer to them after this transfer window IMO.

While Lukaku isnt as world class as Ronnie and co, in my opinion hes just what Chelsea need, plus they still made a profit.
United needed a cdm for it to be a perfect window I think

Getting Ronaldo and Varane does not make it a good transfer window for United. You try to fix your major issues in a transfer window. United's issue has been their holding midfield. With Fred still operating they are still weak.

For me Chelsea has bought the best.
