Most Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be hoping that Tottenham Hotspur can emulate the away-day successes of Chelsea, Leeds United and Brighton and Hove Albion in the final Gameweek 32 match of the day.

Spurs are at Aston Villa this evening, with kick-off in the Midlands at 17:30 BST.

Antonio Conte has favoured a settled side for many weeks now and he’s again named an unchanged side at Villa Park, resisting the urge the bring back the fit-again Sergio Reguilon or Ryan Sessegnon at Emerson Royal’s expense.

Matt Doherty starts again at left wing-back, as a consequence.

Steven Gerrard promised to make changes for this fixture but, having made noises about rotating misfiring players in the past without really delivering, there are predictably only two alterations.

And it’s no surprise that it’s Morgan Sanson and Leon Bailey who drop out, as Danny Ings and Douglas Luiz return.

Marvelous Nakamba is back among Villa’s substitutes after four months out with a knee injury.

Spurs are the most-owned team among the top 10,000 FPL managers, with an average of 2.6 Lilywhites players in each of these squads.

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane account for over 85% of the captains within the top 10k.

GAMEWEEK 32 LINE-UPS

Aston Villa XI: Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Digne, Douglas Luiz, McGinn, Ramsey, Coutinho, Ings, Watkins.

Subs: Olsen, Chambers, Young, Nakamba, Chukwuemeka, Sanson, Bailey, Traore, Buendia.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Lloris, Romero, Dier, Davies, Emerson Royal, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Doherty, Kulusevski, Son, Kane.

Subs: Gollini, Reguilon, Sanchez, Rodon, Sessegnon, Winks, White, Moura, Bergwijn.

Any news on Cucho injury status?

Bought him last-minute on Friday, would love to leave him there for the season if he'll be playing again soon.

Requires a scan, updates to come next week.

    Source: watfordfc.com/news/hodgson-the-second-goal-was-a-killer-blow

-- Cucho Hernández continued to make a positive impact on the team, but his injury forced Hodgson into a first-half substitution. Not yet aware of its severity, the manager is anxious with how the injury looked at first viewing.

“I’m always worried by muscle injuries,” said Hodgson. “Pulling up like he pulled up, I’m always concerned that it’s going to show something ugly, but I’ve got no idea at the moment and I don’t think we’ll know until the early parts of next week, because I don’t think they’ll scan it straight away, they have to wait for a few days. All I can hope for is some good news, that it’s not as bad a pull or tear as it could be."

Lacazette Havertz Doherty to Mateta Son Schär for - 4 and this team. Yes or No? Only 3 double week players but singles have decent games.

      Ramsdale *
      James Schär* Robertson Cancelo
      Salah Son Kulusevski Saka
      Kane Broja*

      Sá Mateta Gordon Digne

Starting to think that playing the last FH in 33 is not worth it. The plan was to play FH in 33, WC in 34 and BB in 36.

The single gwk players could easily score more points than their dgw counterparts e.g. Bowen at home to BUR. Do I really want to get rid of him?

There's hardly much to chose from:
NEW defenders - are they really going to keep cs v LEI and CPL?
ARS players - look so out of form and there's the CHS fixture.
MAN U - can they be even trusted even NOR at home?

Perhaps FH in 37 in 37 is the better option...or even 38. What are your thoughts? 😕

You should have played it in 27 and 30 when at least you were guaranteed of more points.

I played it in 30. I should have played it in 28. That was the killer.

Pleased I chose Son as Captain but annoyed Kulu is first on the bench. With Cancelo, Laporte, TAA, Matip, Jota, Bowen and Toney to play I can’t see anyone not getting pitch time.

Not sure I'd have played so many defenders from the CTY/LIV game. Jota may stay on the bench perhaps but hard to see otherwise.

Yes it was a bit reckless, just couldn’t decide who to drop and playing Kane as well, three from Spurs seemed a bit OTT.

I benched Robbo which was a wrench but just don't see many points for defenders in that game...esp LIV ones.

Matip was probably the one. A 0-0 is unlikely but would be a jackpot result for me.

      Ramsdale
      TAA Cancelo James
      Salah Son Martinelli Kulu
      Laca Iheanacho Weghorst
      (Sanchez Saiss Doherty Raph)
      2FT 0.6ITB WC FH BB

Original plan was to BB this GW but I think Doherty injury has ruined that.

Current thinking is Saiss/Raph to Barnes/Schar and leave the BB for later.

      Any advice welcome 🙂

Had a look through the overall FPL standings and noticed a name that will definitely be familiar to Allsvenskan Fantasy players: Djurgården defender Hjalmar Ekdal (ID 902785, in a league with several teammates) is currently 161st in the world. Happy to be corrected but I believe that makes him the highest ranked professional footballer this season, have any other players ever reached a better rank?

I lost patience in Weghorst this week but wouldn’t be surprised if he returned soon. Replaced him with Toney. Not sure you’re gaining much different by going with Wood.

Yes it’s been suggested on here thats likely. But I think I’d prefer to ignore the DGW and take a punt on someone like Mateta over the next few GWs

Mateta does look a better option for the rest of the season overall. Wood would be for DGW33 & then away to Norwich GW34, then I'd be looking to transfer him out. So going with Mateta instead frees up a transfer later.

Are we all basically in agreement then that Digne is the most overrated FPL player of all time? Genuinely, I’ve had him 5/6 spells since he joined the league and I’ve either had reds/yellows, tons of shipped goals, injuries and absolutely no attacking output. I can’t wait to ship him AGAIN.
