Welcome to the Fantasy Football Scout mini-leagues and community competitions round-up after GW32, a very good one for Son-captainers.

We report on the two main FFScout Leagues, the Mods & Cons and FFS Family mini-leagues, Last Man Standing, the FFS Members Cup, the Head-to-Head Leagues and a selection of other community mini-leagues.

FFSCOUT OPEN-TO-ALL LEAGUE

Niall O’Connor is the new leader of our Fantasy Football Scout mini-league (league code gsnskx) as long-time leader Srecko Kurtovic dropped to sixth. Niall has risen to 22nd overall and is seventh in our FFS Live Hall of Fame, having come 143rd in 2008/09 and with another four top 10k finishes since then. In 13 seasons he has only finished outside the top 20k on three occasions.

FFSCOUT COMMUNITY MEMBERS LEAGUE

Håkon Mangersnes tops the Fantasy Football Scout Members mini-league for a fourth week. This League is also open to all, and the league code is visible in the widget on the FFS Home Page when signed in – but only those with a registered FFS account (paid or free) will be eligible for prizes.

Fantasy Football Scout Members is still the third best league in FPL, based on the average scores of the top five teams in each league. Our own top five are all in the overall top 34.

Håkon is also number one in the world for a second week.

MODS & CONS

Chaz Phillips (Az) tops the FFS Mods & Cons mini-league for a 19th week and is now 1,638th overall, but Seb is catching up fast.

FFS FAMILY

Obay Eid (FPL_Milanista) tops the FFS Family mini-league for a 29th week and has risen to 27th overall.

LAST MAN STANDING

The safety score for Gameweek 32 in TorresMagic’s Last Man Standing competition (see https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/26234/standings/c and https://torresmagic.webs.com/lmsupdate.htm) was 60, with 41 teams out and 92 left.

The joint top scorers were Aris Drossinos Sancho and Mac Gunner with 91. Aris came 5,993rd in 2016/17, while Mac came 4,536th in 2016/17 and 477th in 2018/19 and is 292nd in our FFS Live Hall of Fame.

FFS MEMBERS CUP

Gameweek 32 was the second round of the latest FFS Members Cup. Previous winner Mohd Rodzi and the highest ranked manager (A.J.,197th) are both through to round 3. The joint top scorers were Sleepylabeef and K3lvN with 89. K3lvN (Kelvin Travers) finished 2nd in FPL in 2012/13.

HEAD-TO-HEAD LEAGUES

Justin Spiegel still leads Martin Stubbs by two points at the top of League 1 of MIR’s FFS Head-to-Head Leagues.

Viktor Torkelsson in League 9 Division 72 is still the highest scorer in the Head-to-Head Leagues, with 88 points out of a possible 96, and is now 7,401st overall.

TOPS AND VETS

James Ingram has regained the lead from Uroš Lorbek in my Top 10k Any Season mini-league (league code kgmryk) and is now 146th overall. He previously led after Gameweeks 24, 26 and 27 and is 283rd in our FFS Live Hall of Fame

Carl Evans tops my Multiple Top 10k Finishes mini-league (league code 03t1fd), which is for teams with two or more top 10,000 finishes, for a tenth week and is now 345th overall.

Tony Yorath (A.J.) tops PDM’s Top 1k ANY season mini-league (league code 01ef8y) for a fifth week and has risen to 197th overall.

Jonathan Tan tops Livinginapool’s Top 100 Any Season mini-league (league code pztxjt) for a 12th week and is now 5,327th overall.

2018/19 FPL champion Adam Levy tops Simon March’s FPL Champions League for a 14th week and is now 5,688th overall.

Finn Sollie tops Chaballer’s Hall of Fame Top 1k mini-league (league code 1zpaad) for a second week and has risen to 35th overall.

Gerry Kerley has regained the lead from Callum Croal in Skooldaze’s FPL Vets 2006 or before mini-league (league code hz9bz2), his 14th week on top. He is now 5,939th overall, and 957th in our FFS Live Hall of Fame.

Great round up as always RL…who’s this ‘Deleted Player’ I beat in the H2H League 2 Division 1? What’s the craic with their team, hacked?

The link in the HEAD-TO-HEAD Leagues section is incorrect. FFS Head-to-Head Leagues should link to https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/head-to-head-leagues/ (not to https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2022/04/14/head-to-head-leagues/, which gets Page Not Found).

Deleted Player's id is 657364, and has had no OR since GW27 (when he played his Free Hit, making 12 transfers and was ranked 53,383rd), though he did make 3 transfers in GW28 and another 4 on 12th March in GW29.

He had been playing since 2006/07 and was in Top 10k Any Season and Top 1k ANY Season, having finished 108th in 2009/10 and with another five top 10k finishes.

He was in the Spurs Fan League but not in any National League, which is unusual.

Perhaps MIR or TopMarx might know who he is.

I see he is also still joint second position in your H2H League.
      I hope he's OK.

What I really want to know is should I now be aiming for 11th rather than 10th to avoid relegation

…without sounding too much like a sociopath…does he still count?

That's probably something for MIR to decide, and would affect deleted players in other H2H leagues too.
I see that MIR is only just above the relegation point himself!

I asked TopMarx about this. He says:
"Yes you should be aiming at 11th rather than 10th
He could be a hub member, I know Matthew Jones deleted himself from the league a couple of seasons ago, I think for this reason
Mat probably will have a record so I can drop him a message and find out"

I’m in a Toxic Seaman whatsapp group with Matthew & TopMarx so I can ask them if needs be, but I think this guy has had his entire account deleted. Not sure it’ll have anything to do with Hub…

RL I do have something that is perplexing me that you might be able to help with in the HoF Top 1k league. There is a guy who was 64 in the HoF at the start of the season…he’s called Gurdit Singh Lugani (ID 29241). Now he’s 51,364 even though he’s having a decent season. I can’t understand it & don’t know whether I should be culling him or not?

I think it would be reasonable to retain anyone who is in the top 1k of either the Career Hall of Fame or the latest Live Hall of Fame.
That would be tough on anyone who isn't currently in the top 1k of either but was in the top 1k of the Live Hall of Fame earlier in the season though.
It would be simpler to only accept those who are in the top 1k of the Career hall of Fame, since that doesn't change during the season, but it would be a shame not to also accept those who are only in the top 1k of the latest Live Hall of Fame.
You could perhaps leave them in as long as they were in the top 1k of either Hall of Fame when they first joined this season, but it's your mini-league so you make the rules!

As for Gurdit Singh Lugani, he is only 51,374th in the Career Hall of Fame, and strangely also 51,374th in the latest Live Career Hall of Fame, which seems unlikely. Could there be a fault in the calculation of his Hall of Fame positions?
If not, I don't believe that he was 64th in the Live Hall of Fame earlier in the season. He might however have been 64th in your mini-league (he is currently 99th in that), and probably never eligible to be in it.

Yeah I allow both Top 1k Career & Live HoF already. This Gurdit chap was definitely 64th in HoF at the start of the season. I know this because I keep records of everyone so I know who to cull each season. Check his history, it’s top notch…

Fyi I check everyone’s Career & Live HoF when they join. It’s possible someone could drop out of the Top 1k in the Live HoF & thus go unnoticed for a while, since I can’t be constantly checking everyone fluctuating around the threshold at every update…but I’ll always cull them eventually at the end of each season if they don’t make it back in.

It looks as if his current Hall of Fame rankings are probably both incorrect. Ted is investigating and says he thinks he knows the issue.

The Live Hall of Fame was updated again after Gameweek 32, as I will be reporting in my next Mini-Leagues report.
Gurdit Singh Lugani is 51,374th in both Career and Live versions following that update, but perhaps that is when an error crept in (if it didn't happen earlier).

The Hall of Fame error has now been fixed.
Gurdit Singh Lugani is now 71sdt in the Career Hall of Fame and 155th in the Live Hall of Fame.
