FPL 2012/13 Is Now Open

And we’re off….Having released the Player Price List earlier on this week, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game is now officially up and running for the 2012/13 campaign, allowing us to tinker with our teams ahead of the big kick-off on Saturday August 18:

In conjunction with Tuesday’s revelation, our coverage of the player valuations continues to pick up pace. Having rolled out our analysis of the Goalkeepers and Defenders, we followed that up with a look at the Midfielders earlier this afternoon – no prizes for guessing the Forwards are on tomorrow’s agenda.

For now, though, let’s not waste any further time – our patience has been tested enough. Head off to the official site and get your team registered for the new season, folks, and let the planning begin.

    Does anyone think that Carlos Cuellar is nailed on to start and if so would he be at fullback or central defence?

      He shouldn't replace Bardsley, funnily enough though Bardsley was on loan at Villa and played as RB but Martin O'Neill didn't want to sign him permanently. Also, Cuellar is not a great RB. And not very attacking at that, just good to have him for defending set plays. He is however a great centre back, and should play RCB.

        Terry offers a safe route and is a viable captain option for GW1, and Maloney tends to play further forward, with Beausejour playing LWB and Maloney RW.

          Personally id have lescott instead of Ivanovic, but I see the logic behind it. As long as you feel you'll have the free transfers to work with at start of the season you're grand.
