Our Live Hall of Fame has been given an update for the start of the new season.

Fantasy Football Scout can now access the new Fantasy Premier League (FPL) IDs of all the managers on the list and click through to their teams.

With only two Gameweeks’ worth of points in 2022/23, we’re not going to concentrate too much on the refreshed rankings but will give a brief overview of how the top 10 have set up their squads for the new campaign.

WHAT IS THE HALL OF FAME?

For the uninitiated, the Hall of Fame is a ranking system applied to everyone who takes part in either of our FPL mini-leagues.

Managers’ past and present performances are then tracked to give a Hall of Fame (HoF) rating.

The Live version of our Hall of Fame can only be viewed by Premium Members but everyone can access the Career Hall of Fame by clicking here.

Further information on the Hall of Fame is included at the bottom of this article, but alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to Mark Sutherns and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson discuss the feature.

FPL points predictions for Gameweek 3 and beyond 3

2022/23 LIVE HALL OF FAME: THE STANDINGS

FPL Hall of Fame update: Where do you rank?

Jon Ballantyne (12th to 8th), Niall O’Connor (14th to 9th) and Abdul Rehman (16th to 10th) have all climbed into the top 10.

David Williams (7th to 11th), Petter Yilmaa (10th to 12th) and Matt Corbidge (5th to n/a) have made way but the 2022/23 campaign is still in its embryonic stage.

The top seven were all part of our Career Hall of Fame top 10 at the end of last season.

2022/23 LIVE HALL OF FAME: THE TOP TEN’S FPL SQUADS

It’s all very predictable when we look at the squad make-up of the top 10, with nine players and a £4.5m forward featuring in every team.

As for the ‘third’ Liverpool asset, six went for Luis Diaz (£8.0m) and the other four plumped for Andrew Robertson (£7.0m).

Six have a second Manchester City defender on their books in the form of Ruben Dias (£6.0m) or Kyle Walker (£5.1m), while half own Neco Williams (£4.0m).

While all 10 own Danny Ward (£4.0m), only three have him as their undisputed number one: the other seven either have Aaron Ramsdale (£5.0m) or Robert Sanchez (£4.5m).

HALL OF FAME FAQ

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each preceding season weighted at roughly 80% of the one that followed. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2021/22 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2007/08. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow rookies to rank alongside the veterans of FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues next season, either the Fantasy Football Scout league or, if you’re a member, the Fantasy Football Scout Members’ league – the code for the latter will be available on the dashboard of the Members’ Area after launch.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL ID.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the relevant Fantasy Football Scout FPL league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest yearly rankings. The Live version, accessible only to Members, is updated sporadically throughout the season to reflect the scores of the current campaign.

rich can come on for anyone in the front three rather than specifically kulu imo. even came on for sess against chelsea. + he's there for cup games and easy ucl games since kane and son have been ran into the ground in past seasons

It’s not who he comes on for that’s important if there’s a slight reshuffle. So although he replaced Sessegnon, he didn’t take up the same position.

Still, I’m very interested to see how they use Richi in coming games - will he remain as this super ‘impact sub’? We still don’t know. It’s just clear that Spurs were miles better with him playing.

              • 13 Years
              3 years, 3 months ago

Good points, but he was better because Chelsea had set up to shut down Spurs' front 3. Subsequent opponents won't have the same quality to do that.

              • 6 Years

well yea he wasn't playing left back, but goes to show that conte didnt mind playing son, rich, kane, and kulu at the same time

also everyone seems to think rich is gonna replace kulu or suddenly take all of his mins but I dont think thats the case. spurs have been needing a good back up for son and kane for years, now they can be rested far more in midweek games

        3. House Frey Wedding Planner
          • 7 Years
          3 years, 3 months ago

I'd go with Kulu as well. 6 goals and 9 assists from 20 games since signing. Was brilliant in Spurs last home game. Could also rise in price soon.

Rich will most likely provide cover for all 3 and right now it's Kulu's place to lose

Raya or Sanchez for the next few, Guaita could be great long term but he has Johnstone breeding down his neck

    2. House Frey Wedding Planner
      • 7 Years
      3 years, 3 months ago

Henderson could very well be the one once Forest get their games against Spurs and City done with.

Great run of fixtures from gw6 onward and racks up save and bonus points.

Was excellent when loaned at Sheffield United a few years back and ended up being one of the best FPL keepers in the league that year.

Raya and Sanchez are also good options and can't go wrong picking either of them

      1. Andy_Social
        • 13 Years
        3 years, 3 months ago

I don't see Hendo ever being a better option than Sanchez or Raya.
Problem with Guaita is Sam Johnson looming so closely.
Can't separate Sanchez and Raya though - both with great fixtures and behind solid defences.

I think Sanchez and Raya might get more clean sheets but Hendo will get more save points and bps (was close to getting a bp against newcastle despite conceding two) so over the course of a full season it could be close.

Rotating keepers is an option but aware that in reality there will be plenty of weeks you'll pick the best fixture but end up with fewer points than your subbed keeper.

Just a heads up ladies and gents. The 5.0 and now 4.9 mids are a trap, especially if they are in your starting eleven

    BECAUSE

If your new 5.0 mid becomes a 4.9, what do you do with him.

I was literally screaming at my screen, avoid the 5.0 and now 4.9 mids.

    Anyway, back to the WC's...

Same issue here. I think maybe Gross edges it. Cheaper, better fixtures (although both have good), on every set-piece, plays 90 min. Rodrigo could also explode though.

I will roll this week and make a decision next week on either.

Nearly every player is being linked to nearly every club. Absolute bun fight....oh and they all wanted to player for the linked club when they were a kid blah etc... 😉

If you are sure that you don't want Salah I think it is advisable to have at least Diaz.

I have no plans to get rid of him for now. Very happy to hold for another few GWs - hopefully he repays our faith!

Jumping ship from one 8.0 mid to another just seems like chasing points, they'll all get fairly consistent hauls throughout the season

Just select another 4.5 or James to Cucu and Mee to Walker

I’d rather downgrade JWP to 4.5 / 5 and use that money to upgrade defence, where there is the lost value, and play a 5-2-3 instead

Salah. United are atrocious. He will get chances, he will probably get a penalty. I think he's more likely to score a hat-trick than Jesus.

I will VC Jesus or Son.

I think Newcastle at home is underestimated by Haaland (c).

For what it's worth I think Man C will win but i doubt it will be high scoring. Man U on the other hand could be a bloodbath! 🙂

They have improved but remain fodder for the likes of City. Schar/Botman vs Haaland/De Bruyne. Stop.

            Ramsdale (ward)
            Trent, robbo, James, cancelo, dias
            Salah, martinelli, Bailey, (perreira), (dasilva)
            Haaland, Jesus, (greenwood)

            0.4 itb, 2 ft's

            A) Bailey to kdh
            B) ramsdale and Bailey to sanchez and gross
            C) robbo and Bailey to dunk/Henry and gross
            D) robbo and greenwood to dunk and Toney (start 5-2-3)

D is interesting but I don't like the 5-2-3 formation as it's too inflexible.

I'd probably do B but do Raya over Sanchez to give you some Brentford coverage considering their excellent run of fixtures (don't see Da Silva as anything more than bench fodder)

            2 FT, 0.5 ITB.
Mount is falling tonight and having FOMO of not having Cancelo who is rising tonight. Can't see any good ideas however... Mount to Rodrigo and Walker to Cancelo? Maybe Mount to Zaha and find 0.5 from Gabriel to Saliba? Something else?

            Raya / Ward
            TAA / James / Walker / Gabriel / Neco
            Salah / Diaz / Mount / Martinelli / Andreas
            Haaland / Jesus / 4.5
