1 Can I transfer Messi ( locked) to Gapko (locked then in MD3 team) and Gavi to KDB ( both unlocked) so that I get Messi points already bagged and whatever KDB scores ?

2 If I want Messi back for MD3 team before MD2 wildcard expires can I do that?

All bench players now subbed in

      1. Yes
      2. No. Once you've brought in a locked player for MD3, you can't change him again on WC. But once MD3 begins you should be able to sell him using an FT

Cheers- I would be keeping Gapko anyway. Mbabbe would come back in to replace another locked forward in MD2 team ( if I want him back)

Oh yeah ok... I think that should work if you sold a different forward for Messi later in this MD

Good afternoon all!! Hope everyone is happy and well!! Just a quick FPL related question, out of interest how many premiums will you go with after the WC break and if so whom??? I’m currently on 3 with Salah, Kane and Haaland

    Interested to hear others ideas!!!

    Cheers everyone!!!

When I first started playing fantasy football I used to try and fit in as many premiums as possible. Ended up having to play too many cheap defenders as a result. Nowadays I tend to settle for one or two premiums at most. It doesn’t seem very cost effective to me to have players in the 11 - 13 million category who you do not captain.

Just my opinion. Others will probably disagree.

That's only the case at the start of the season. We've built up decent amount of value now and can easily get 3 premiums. Some like me can even get to 4.

Yeah I think just 1 or 2 is a good idea mate, I’d probably go for 2, I’m just figuring out whether to go 2 or 3, going 2 means I can get a TAA, Robbo or James in and two Saka, Foden or Maddison

This year with super cheap options like Martinelli and Almiron, and leading defenders at cheap prices, you can easily squeeze in 3 premiums.

I've been dying to tell someone my team. Here it is.

          Ward
          Trippier Dalot White
          Almiron KDB Salah Martinelli
          Haaland Martial Kane
          Hennessey Summerville Bueno Patterson.

Think I'll bench boost honestly. Setting up my bench for a double gameweek has never been worth it for me.

Probably 2 (Haaland & KDB). Kane is a maybe but breaking down with fatigue the week before the WC & now playing through injury does not bode well. Still prefer Darwin to Salah. 2 premiums also allows for a nice deep squad to cover post-WC fitness issues

Yeah I’ve done teams with Darwin over Salah mate, would be keeping Kane in those teams tho, could maybe go with a front line of Haaland, Toney and Wilson I’m thinking, keep salah and invest a bit more in mids and defenders

Two. Currently looking to have a balance of prices across the team to make it easier to adapt to change. That includes one premium defender and mid price midfielder

I’m still backing Salah over KDB. Think players in the World Cup will be tired and with a sense of anticlimax. Might change my mind later. Haaland the other of course.

Toying with Bruno as my mid-price if he’s not knackered to take advantage of good fixtures (is he still a premium?)

Me too mate with Salah, think il just go Cancelo and Haaland from city for now!! Could do definitely mate!! Definitely worth being wary of!!

Like the Bruno idea, with Ronaldo gone I see him stepping up, I’m looking at Rashford and maybe Martial

The above still gets you into the Charlie Price World Championship. Points already gained will be transported into the league although they may not appear until after the next game has finished.

I am currently 30th out of 42 entries which is not great but it’s the taking part that counts. Isn’t it?

This is the 6th or 7th major referee or var error this WC. Its never ever offside. He is neither touching and he is clearly not blocking the view of the keeper. The ref doesn't even check properly on the monitor. Just changes original decision in 2 seconds.

Besides, get away this rule of blocking view of keeper offside. 95% of the time the gk anyways has no chance to save it.

Pathetic pathetic refereeing this WC. Very low standard

This is a troll post... isn't it?

It's about the clearest case of "not touching the ball yet interfering from an offside position" I've ever seen.

Courtois absolutely has to take Saiss into account & probably expected the flick-on.

    2. Paqueta Rice
      • 5 Years
      3 years, 24 days ago

You’re joking surely? 100% offside. That’s an easy catch for Courtouis if the offside players isn’t jumping for it interfering with play. Whether he touched it or not is irrelevant.

      1. jacob1989
        • 3 Years
        3 years, 24 days ago

Just poor goalkeeping if he didn't catch it. The ball went above saiss. He wasnt gonna head it. Just terrible refereeing.
Saiss wasnt really in the vision of the gk if u see closely and in slow motion

        1. Paqueta Rice
          • 5 Years
          3 years, 24 days ago

It’s not poor goalkeeping if he didn’t catch it, Saiss went to head it from an offside position and the keeper is expecting him to get a touch.

            • 3 Years
