          Not keen on Ramsdale but saying that, it does not really matter which playing GK you own this season with the way clean sheets are going.

          Arsenal defence is sound though and why I have doubled up.

          I was deciding between Trossard and Rashford and went Trossard and was really bad vs SOU. Luckily I can downgrade to Rashford if he shows good form.

      I’d hold. It’s a good team and Darwin’s capable of a big score next week with the number of chances he gets. Kane (and Mitro) could get a yellow card next week

          I lived in Ilford for 13 years and my family had been there from 1907 but I’ve moved up the road to Walthamstow. I nicked the name from our athletic club. My dad went to school in Barking but for some reason became an Arsenal fan.

        I don’t think Akanji is nailed so unless you’re planning a strong bench I’d go b or c. I have both; wouldn’t normally double defence but Botman is a steal and Gabriel has goal threat for the best team in the league

            I won’t pretend to be an expert but I think he’s played two positions and with Stones and Walker back (as well as Ake and others) he has competition for both.

              Of course they can pick who they like, but it's generally a good idea to pick form players that don't cost a fortune and it's a bit strange to avoid such players.

              Struggling to understand the strategy of avoiding the 3rd and 4th highest scorers in the game costing less than 6 mill each ... more points today than KdB & Salah

            For me i always wanted Wilson as hes a fantastic striker and i nvr really had him becoz of injuries plus i reckoned almorin might regress. Got it wrong obviously.

            On the flip side, Palace red after 30 minutes is something you cant predict and while Leicester defense is not world class you would expect them to stop Almiron in that run. Notmally that goal is not posdible if one out of five defenders are awake.. A bit like Martinelli goal, to get 8 point from him yesterday with a goal with what, 0.01 chance?

          Darwin won't last long in 'experts' or content creators' teams despite being touted as a "great pick" and "100% locked". I don't know what they were basing that on because he has always looked a bit rubbish to me. Another wasteful showing against Leicester and he'll be booted out for Mitro and Fulham's double (and will then inevitably start scoring).

            Maybe true that he’s not a long term pick but short term he’s pretty secure and with the need to replace the Villa goalie and some decent fixtures coming up I think he was, and continues to be a good pick. We’ll see in the next few weeks

              I'm sure he will improve but such is the demand for instant points in Fpl, I think he will be owned by under 10% quite soon. Low ownership for a Liverpool striker. Plus he is quite expensive. Not many would take him over Mitro when both are fit.

                Having a 8.8 m striker who gets 4 big chances in away match against a team with coach who is known for defensive diligence seems like a no brainer to me. You can have Mitro beside him you know?

                    Yep, lets see how it works out. My view is that 8.8 for Liverpool striker who gets that amount of chances is worth it. Frustrating yes, but also 13 points in the gw before break. Liverpools run of fixtures are not great but also no top four until gw28 or something. My problem is picling the other spots in my team. You dont need to ask that in 3 gws unless he gets injured.

          Granted it was a bit of a gamble going for Reece as he's only just back from injury. But still it was annoying we didn't have the quotes from Potter about managing his minutes before the deadline. Wouldn't have gone for him otherwise. 1 pointer pretty likely tonight I would say unfortunately.

              Why would he be when both Dias and Jota are out long term? Did Mo, Dias and Nunez not feature together? Gapko is a left sided forward anyway, like Diaz.

              I thought it was only 1× 90mins under Lopetegui. Shared mins with Ait Nouri pretty evenly in the friendlies. I wouldn't want to depend on him week, but still, he started & that's the main thing. Don't pay any attention to this Opta nonsense about Bueno being finished just because Ait Nouri scored

              It’ll be interesting to see how Bruno plays. I reckon he’ll be the sacrifice to boost your bench, with cheaper good quality alternatives available, but he could be gold

            Benched Mitro..ugh.. need a no show from 1 of KdB, Rashford, Mount to go along with Dalot for him to come off the bench. Each of them scoring more than 15 would subside the pain as well

            I notice that Estupinan has not been given an assist for Peraud's own goal on the FPL app. Just wondering if FPL used Opta stats due to it being Boxing Day. I was disappointed not to be given assists for either Darwin or Kulu's crosses leading directly (well, almost) to goals, so I am hoping they have yet to be added due to the 'holidays'. That would mean all four of my players who played returning, and save me from a weekly rank of over 9 million.
