Double Gameweek 23 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) gets underway at the London Stadium, where Chelsea are West Ham United’s visitors.

Kick-off is at 12:30 GMT.

Reece James is the only player on show with a double-digit ownership in FPL but among ‘active’ teams, this match is all about Kepa Arrizabalaga: the in-form goalkeeper is owned by 55.88% of the top 10k, by way of example.

As for the team news, Mason Mount is benched for the first time in the Premier League since Graham Potter took over.

The England international is one of three players who makes way from the side that drew 0-0 with Fulham, with Conor Gallagher and Hakim Ziyech also having to be content with places among the substitutes.

New signing Noni Madueke makes his first start since joining the Blues in the January transfer window, while fellow winter recruit Joao Felix returns from suspension to take his place in the Chelsea attack.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek also makes his first start since before the World Cup, while Mykhailo Mudryk keeps his place on the left flank.

West Ham boss David Moyes names an unchanged side from the 1-1 draw with Newcastle United, with defender Thilo Kehrer shaking off an injury to make the starting XI.

GAMEWEEK 23 LINE-UPS

West Ham United XI: Fabianski, Kehrer, Ogbonna, Aguerd, Coufal, Lucas Paqueta, Rice, Emerson Palmieri, Bowen, Benrahma, Antonio.

Subs: Johnson, Fornals, Lanzini, Downes, Ings, Soucek, Hegyi, Anang.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, James, Thiago Silva, Badiashile, Cucurella, Loftus-Cheek, Fernandez, Madueke, Joao Felix, Mudryk, Havertz.

Subs: Bettinelli, Chalobah, Mount, Chilwell, Ziyech, Gallagher, Datro Fofana, Azpilicueta, Chukwuemeka.

Will consider it when Nketiah mins become a doubt. Not in a rush to sell Haaland/Kane either. Still okay for now.

I want to sell Mitro and have a few on my shortlist as a replacement (Felix, Eddie, Toney, Alvarez from City or Ferguson or Johnson). Out of all of them, I quite fancy Felix as I think Chelsea will start playing better now and have a great run in. The problem is I have five great midfielders, Kane and Haaland. This means I will have a benching headache every week, or I make the difficult decision of downgrading a mid. Ferguson/Johnson may be the way forward right?

I think we must be the only major league which shows the least amount of live games.
But it's done to keep crowds up at matches, helps the the lower leagues too.

            Indeed.

It's expensive enough the legal way as it is for the handful of games Sky and BT Sport show per GW. Amazon have a few rounds too but they show all the games.

Can't help the feeling that Havertz is slowing this attack down. I mean, forever thankful for his contributions on CL final and World Club cup final but I don't see him being successful as a striker in this offence. Nkunku on the other hand, when he comes in summer, could be a much better fit

      1. Bartowski
        • 15 Years

I think Nkunku is coming there to play behind a striker, they are still being linked with a proper 9.

I'm really not sure what Cucurella offers this XI.

Doesn't progress the ball. Keeps breaking down play. Positioning seems really iffy. Passes to other players put them under far too much pressure. Not even good at defending one-on-one's.

Lol, it reminds me of one I watched with my Dad in the 80s. The interviewed bigged up the technique and how the ball was struck for some amazing long shot goal, and the player replied "I just kicked it." Can't for the life of me remember who it was, but my Dad always brings it up when pundits wax lyrical about worldie goals.

Well when you are ranked as high as I am at 100(k) it's inevitable.

Even at the dizzy heights of 1.5 million I find reds inevitable

I guess 11 million players means it is week to week that counts

Toney > Joao Felix for free?

Covers the blank, great fixtures & looks to be at the centre of everything.

Feel a red arrow coming. Missed deadline so Rash capt ,thankfully one ahead of me tc'd Haaland, but most definitely capt him.

Think I will try to ignore games 2moro until final whistle.

No point torturing myself is there?

You may find that you enjoy the games more as you will have given up on your team doing (really) well this week?

I leave transfers until end of week but surprised people dont set up bus team (change cap bench etc) when game updates
