The Premier League have announced the rearrangement of six previously postponed fixtures, which fall into Double Gameweek 29.

12 teams are affected, in an announcement that could potentially shake up the chip strategies of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers.

The rescheduled fixtures are as follows:

  • Bournemouth v Brighton (Tuesday 4 April)
  • Leeds v Nott’m Forest (Tuesday 4 April)
  • Leicester v Aston Villa (Tuesday 4 April)
  • Chelsea v Liverpool (Tuesday 4 April)
  • Man Utd v Brentford (Wednesday 5 April)
  • West Ham v Newcastle (Wednesday 5 April)

FPL review: Maddison's elite numbers, Spurs' injury woes 1

We now have confirmation of Double Gameweek 29 and it’s a big one as expected, with 12 teams set to play twice.

Away matches for Liverpool against Man City and Chelsea are far from straightforward, but more appealing doubles await Leicester and Nott’m Forest.

And what about Brighton and Brentford, who could now potentially face two ‘doubles’ and two ‘blanks’ in the next five rounds?

What all of this does mean, however, is that chip planning will become more important than ever in the coming days and weeks, with Free Hit deployment set to pick up in Blank Gameweek 28 and Double Gameweek 29, depending on your strategy.

    Anyone know what that website is where you can link your team and see exactly how it will look like for future GW's and you can apply transfers as well.
    Haven't used it since last year but think it will be useful with all these DGWs & BGWs coming up.

    My current team is so bad and this extra info is very handy. This team sets me up for 25, gives me some doublers for 27, enough to scrape through 28 and i'll bench boost in 29 with 15 doublers?

    Leicester losing in the 5th round of the cup will be really beneficial. Means Brentford v Leicester in gw28 is on, both teams double in 29 and Brentford double as well in 27. If Fulham lose to Leeds as well, then the blanks and doubles in the next few weeks suddenly becomes a lot easier to navigate

    What teams will you be completely avoiding even with a DGW?

    Bournemouth, Forest and even West Ham you would think but they all have appealing fixtures here. Maddison + Bowen could be a shout.

      Probably Bournemouth and Forest as I probably won't want any of their players at any stage for the rest of the season. Already have Gnonto from Leeds but may hold onto him now with the dgw29 announcement. Wouldn't take anyone else from Leeds tho.
