The final match of Blank Gameweek 28 features league-leaders Arsenal, who welcome managerless Crystal Palace to the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s troops head into the international break with a chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points, while the Eagles sacked Patrick Vieira on Friday and are without a win in 2023 thus far.

Kick-off is at 14:00 GMT.

The hosts make just one change from the side that beat Fulham 3-0 in Gameweek 27, as Rob Holding replaces William Saliba, who had some “discomfort” and came off in the midweek game with Sporting CP.

That means Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli all start, despite lasting 120 minutes in that match.

As for Crystal Palace, Paddy McCarthy makes two alterations, as Joel Ward and Luka Milivojevic come in for Nathan Clyne and Albert Sambi-Lokonga. The latter is on loan from Arsenal and unable to play against his parent club.

Joe Whitworth, meanwhile, is again in goal.

* Joachim Andersen has picked up an injury during the warm-up, so James Tomkins comes in to replace him. Jairo Riedewald moves onto the bench.

How the flip did I have such a bad week, Chelsea and Arsenal win big but with Odegard, Gabriel, kepa and Chillwell only 6 pts between them! Only point scorer other than captain Kane and Saka was Summerville with an assist off the bench. So at least I can crow about that! Will definitely be selling him this week…dgw here we come…

not really, odegaard is still a good pick. Obviously won't score every week but martinelli/trossard/jesus playing for a spot in the team when jesus back fully fit

What to do with saka and martinelli

Luckily we got 2 weeks to come to this decision buy I'mm fairly sure to be going Martinelli to a double gamer not just of the double but also GW30 is at Anfield for arsenal.
Plus looking slightly more ahead , they go to etihad in gw33

If you're on a Brighton triple up, what are you planning to do with them after GW29?

I have Estupinan, Mitoma & March and would really like to keep all 3, or at least some kind of triple up. But there so much competition in midfield, it seems to tough to hold onto March. Ferguson would be a lot easier to manage in terms of squad rotation for me

I’m leaning towards this. Maybe move March or Mitoma out for a Liv mid in 30. But keeping Estupinan and one of the above. Lovely run of fixtures post FH32.

Without a free hit i sold Estu to Chilwell this week.

It also depends on DGw announcement.

If it is 30/31 then i will try and get Estu back, or drop Raya to Steele (DDG is the other keeper)

I am may hold on to Toney one more week.

Either do Kane to Isak (especially if DGW30/31) or Haaland and then do Toney/Kane the following week to Isak

Not many CS this week, but i will probably get a Estu/Steele this week for a -4

    Alright then. Thoughts please.

    Pickford + Tarkowski + Kilman + Odegaard ➡ Steele + James + Shaw + Rashford for -12 and BB this lot ?

    Raya - Steele
    James - Shaw - Trippier - Pinnock - White
    Saka - Rashford - Maddison - Mitoma - MacAllister
    Haaland - Toney - Watkins

    Worth it to BB? 🙂

    TRIPPIER, JAMES, ESTUPINAN, MEE*, Zinchenko
    RASHFORD, MITOMA, MARCH, Saka, Martinelli*
    TONEY, WATKINS, Kane
