Take your pick, a Brighton or Villa defender perhaps.

      Depends on your FH chip.
If using in 32 then a city defender like ake/stones
      If not then then villa

Rashford injury is a minimum three weeks? Not a Doctor.

What I read for minor groin injury. recovery is 2-3 weeks. Haaland returned to training during the third week and was able to play. Best case scenario in my none-medical opinion, based on history of other players with groin injuries.

It's three weeks until the First game of Double GW34. I think I might end up just keeping Rashford as I have quite a lot of value tied up in him. Maddison needs to get out of my team!

Depends if there's tearing or not. I'm no well tuned athlete and do not have access to the medical staff he does but I'm coming off a groin injury with tearing involved (inside of the thigh turned purple) from doing something similar to what he did by overstretching for a ball. Took me 4 months before I could begin to run.

My, that's instructive. I thought I'd had the odd groin injury, though not at all bad and all feeling and nothing visual – but that sounds like it must be really obvious that something is badly wrong!

I’d wait and see. If you have a FH for 32, you might just want to hold tight. If you just miss him in 31 and he is back in 33, that’s definite hold.

For those free hitting gw34 are you fully loading up on City, Brighton, United, Liverpool?

FH34 feels like the time to load up on those four teams, with a sprinkle of BRE and NEW. But you just know like always rotations and injuries will play a big part.

I’m Wildcarding in 33, BB in 34 so yes. Plan to have 15 doublers. The filler inners will be a bit of a mish mash with West Ham, maybe Fulham but happy out with the strategy. I’m dead ending in to 32. So yes, I’ll be loading up

It’s so strange where it comes from sometime. Turns out my best wildcard 26 addition was Mings. Who would have guessed that? He was supposed to be bench fodder and I’ve basically played him every week.

I cannot fathom the decisions made in the Spurs v Brighton game today.

Honestly, what in the heck happened there? The officials are not completely inept (which is possible) but there must be some corruption going on for 3 or 4 clear decisions to not even be given.

These sort of things need investigating, seriously I have never seen a game like this.

Ungortunately too many poor unexplained decisions in too many games. Bad use of technology covering up some incompetent officiating.

very true, all we get is an apology at the end of every week from Howard Webb saying they made a mistake.

Although, I have never seen a game where 3-4 clear cut decisions were not given even after a review. The ref is literally looking right at the Brighton penalty when Mitoma went down and the replay clearly shows he was chopped down. The goal was clearly not handball, the mcallister goal came off his hip. They should have also had another penalty. I just don't understand what was going on, it's completely illogical.

If Rashford is out, suddenly FH in 34 seems to be back in contention again for me

With triple Brighton, Shaw*, Rashford*, and Haaland, if I have to drop Shaw and Rashford anyway that leaves me with 4 blanks and 10 starters for 32. Plus I still have triple arsenal and Kane which I would have wanted for FH32 anyway

For 34 I currently have 4 doublers if Rashford and Shaw are out. There are fewer single gameweek players I want to hold that week so if I FH I will probably have ~10 doublers in my FH34 team. That gives me 31 (10+21) games between GW32 + FH34 as opposed to 29 games (11+18) for FH32 + GW34, assuming I use all three remaining free transfers to bring in DGW34 players

Fair enough with triple ars and kane in your team,
but you should consider dgw 36/37 in your calculations imo

FH32 allows you to spend transfer now to get fixture gains on both 34 and 37

If you FH34 you are focused on bringing non blankers in 32, most of which don't double 37

54 + saka, enough for a tiny green arrow at present. Probably a small red by end of the weekend. But a lot better than it looked at about 4.25 when I was sat at about 15 points from 9 players.

    Good: Haaland gamble paid off
Bad: back 4 of Raya, Trip, Chil, Estu netted a whole 2 points

At time of writing, grealish about +95 and Rash about -95 on FPLstats. Might just avoid a 0.2 TV loss overnight...

I’ve been looking at the stats which put TAA front and centre with some juicy fixtures. Still not sure I can bring myself to do it. I think I saw he’d not had a proper assist all season (2 ‘fantasy assists’) and can’t even guarantee a game. May do it anyway; his reputation goes a long way.

Alternatively Zouma has done me well (sort of DGW34) and I like Villa and Palace defence

Unless funds are tight, I wouldn’t worry about the .1 at this stage. Free transfers are at more of a premium than cash at the moment. If was me, I’d wait until we get a good read on how both Shaw and Rash are doing. If Rash is a long term absentee, might be better to move him instead of Maddison.

I assume you have no free hit??? Assuming that, you have no GK for 32 currently, so what you have proposed is as good a shout as any.

We should mark the date on our calendars so this momentous occasion can be celebrated in future years.

Just did chilly to Martinez to fund toney to haaland. My first hit of the season. I feel dirty that I've run out of options but I also can't have haaland cappers running away from me

Confirmed double in 34. Will be one in 36 and/or 37 but not yet confirmed. Three matches yet to be scheduled.
