Can FPL players still get a ban for yellow card accumulation?

In this regular article, we look at the latest Fantasy Premier League (FPL) disciplinary situation.

And we bring you good news, for once: not one player can now pick up a ban for yellow card accumulation.

WHEN ARE THE CUT-OFF POINTS FOR SUSPENSIONS?

The table above is taken from the Football Association website and details the cut-off points for the various yellow card thresholds.

Every team has now contested 32 fixtures.

THE RACE TO (AVOID) 15 BOOKINGS

The next target to avoid for Premier League players is 15 bookings by the end of the campaign.

Joelinton (£6.0m) can still reach that number but any suspension he picks up would be served in 2023/24.

      Depends which one - got a lot of eggs in a Brighton shaped basket there. I am also not convinced on a Liverpool double up at the back - for the large sum invested in Trent and Robbo you want some clean sheets with the possible attacking returns.

        Yeah, true its just that i dont want to give up any of the midfield spots for the DGW, haha...

        But going Salah-less could hurt.

        I believe both Robertson and Trent offers attacking return that could compensate for lack of CS but yeah its a gamble.

      I think its got to be A. I don't like making decisions on EO, but with Saliba out, City are likely to get goals and Haaland likely to be involved.

      Why would you sell Jota?? Confused here and by the responses above. Jota doubles in 34 and could easily haul across one or two of those fixtures. IF I had to be pushed maybe for Haaland but certainly not for Isak (who is just as likely to be rotated)

      It sounds reasonable to take a -4 hit to get Salah, but I wouldn't get rid of Schar as Newcastle has DGW 36. Furthermore I think Isak is a better pick than Toney.

          You'll have a strong front 8. There is an argument to just downgrade one of the forwards or mids to fodder so worth thinking it through. Not saying your plan isn't good.

      On Rashford myself. Only other i'd consider is Martinelli. Tough. United not so great away, but Spurs off the back of a shocker. City will be tough but are not impenetrable.

      Sounds like you have a 2 FT plan for Salah so yes to rolling. Chilwell maybe not ideal but not worth messing up your GW34 plans & can play Zinchenko next GW.

      With a very similar team, I am doing it this week because I will do Chilwell to Trent in 34 (3 transfers over 2 weeks so its a hit regardless). Only question for me is to get Jota in and switch to Isak in 36
