        week by week basis for me. If there are more Chilwell issues this week then I maybe will ditch him, but I'm not in any rush, my bench is insane.

    Most seasons, I am normally trigger happy withy transfers and make them very, very early. TBH it was rare for me to bring in a player who then got injured, but on many occasions I did remove players who ended up hauling the same week.

    This season I thought I would be a lot more patient. I have taken no hits, and made 0 early transfers to chase price rises. What I find interesting this season is that when the game week is live, ie the weekend, I am very very tempted to make moves, but I don't. Then we erach the end of week nearly, like today, and that urge to make moves is almost gone, like there's no excitement left in it lol. Its hard to explain what I mean, but early in the week, I'm very tempted to make moves, later in the week I don't really care, or come to the realization that my team isn't really broken and there isn't much to fix.

      I’ve made 3 transfers in total since the season started; playing it extremely conservatively appears to lead me to positive outcomes more often than not. Used to lose sleep over price-changes but having not given a proverbial about them the past couple of seasons, the game has become a lot more enjoyable.

        Yea I agree, I am pretty relaxed and feel like I am just watching other managers take out good players.

        Price changes really don't bother me. I can either afford something or I cant. If I really want it, I can make it work.

          I think there's a lot of luck involved in the first say 8 GWs.
          You see other guys hauling points ahead of you in OR and ML and feel you need to change things. Sometimes you cant help but try changing things up but quite often if you'd held, you would have saved a FT and scored more. Hey ho.

            Yea true. I used BB in GW1. Done it 3 seasons in a row, paid off well twice. GW1 rank 7k this season. The other season I did well with it was when I had triple Ham and they smashed it.

            My logic is this:
            - I normally mess my team up mid season trying to use BB, prefer just to get it out the way
            - I think if I use it at the start of the season, I have more peoples opinion's to consider who is a good player
            - I essentially have extra tickets to a raffle of players who might start the season well
            - My bench is super strong and can cover any injuries or no shows, easily
            - I already have players like Trippier
            - I am planning to WC round GW8/9 so my tied up cash on the bench is not really an issue. I did ditch Pedro though for some cash.

            Yea I got a good rank GW1, but I'm 200k now. My biggest advantage was not the points I gained, but the flexibility in my squad, that frankly I could ride for the entire season and probably finish in top 500k with no changes.

            I wont try to persuade anyone to use BB in GW1, they can decide for themselves.

      thanks all, I spent the last 15 minuets reading West Ham forums and Reddit. Reddit don't even seem to be aware that West Ham are playing and they forget to even post them team sheet, so that's no help.

      The best I could get from the forum is what the guy said above, he is "poorly" - apparently bt sports said this (not bt sport).

      But yea, find out tomorrow I guess.
