    Please help
    A) keep Jackson
    B) Jackson to Pedro or wissa (or other 7m)
    C) chuk & Jackson to archer & eze/mitoma

Probably just do Jackson > Morris.

Then you can upgrade Chuk to someone even better assuming it’s 2FT you have and will play both Morris and the new mid you’d bring in.

      A. One more time. Maybe 2.
      B. Poss for Pedro but will be another tf 1/2 GWs down the line
      C. No. Wouldnt want Eze and Mitoma too expensive? Tighter fixtures also. I have him. Cant sell/ wouldnt buy.

Michael Owen talking rubbish saying Athens were lucky for two of their goals. Similar to their West Ham gamevit was men versus boys. Brighton have some lovely stylish footballers but outside their defenders there's no big hatchet men for a bit if $h1+housing needed at times tonight. They need to scrap out results in some games.

    1. Sure You Did

Dunk seems like the best candidate for that.

They have enough big defenders. And Evan will eventually do up front but doesn't know enough dark arts yet. Someone like a young version of Milner in midfield, maybe McTominay. Billy Gilmour is a quality player but no physical presence. They're great to watch but I think they can be bullied too easily.

They lost Caicedo and MacAllister in the summer - they were providing a fair bit of steel. I think ‘big hatchet men’ are a bit of a thing of the past really. Who would you say City have that fit this description for example? Or Arsenal?

      1. GreennRed
        • 14 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

        Rodri, Rice.

I might have git a bit gothic in description to be honest. But lads tgat'll get physical, wouldn't shirk hacking down someone to stop an opportunity and/or break up momentum. Gross maybe could do it.

Yeah, I guess they’re the modern day version. You can tell they’re a lot lighter in that holding midfield area in particular. Hopefully they have something up their sleeve.

      Nah

He looks awesome, but I'm not risking it with Artetas subbing comments.

if I wc now, I probably go cheap as.... Areola and Turner? Other keepers I would consider is Sanchez, Sa.

Or, instead of Turner get Kaminski as ur sub keeper, and play him for the double in GW7 then sell him for Turner.

You're not wildcarding for GW6 though. No point in having a keeper targetted for GW6 then looking to move him soon after. Too few CS around right now to have an obvious CS friendly keeper. Pick keepers to look for weeks ahead.

Curent def: Gusto, Udogie, Estu, Cash, Henry*

Have 4.5m and need to replace Henry. Any recommendations? There's Botman but mainly looking at fullbacks eg, (Mitchell, Castagne, Montiel, Coufal, Semedo)

I think Botman is probably your best bet. Not exciting but loads will bring him in this week so a clean sheet and baps will hurt.

Yeah, Botman's name been popping up alot but I've never fancied CBs on fantasy. I've always favoured LB/RB due to their attacking potential points etc. over CBs.

Maybe coufal then. For 4.5 you'll struggle to find a decent attacking full back, but West ham are gonna score goals and he's half decent in attack. Think he's had an assist this season already.

    2. Nuka Girl
      • 9 Years

Yes, I'd say Botman for the value.

I know what you're saying with the wing backs, but 4.5m isn't going to get a top quality (mostly 5.0 or 5.5m).
If you check the fixtures though for rotation with your other defenders, you might find someone not as popular that fits in well.

Struggling to decide on my midfield 5, which combo you think is the best?
Salah, Mbeumo, Madds in all options....
    Then two of...
    A) Sterling
    B) Saka
    C) Rashford

I don't have him. Fixture difficulty is for team results. Saka can get decent points against any team even if Arsenal's chances of winning are reduced.

Anyone "might" get benched at Brighton when they have fixture congestion.

“I don’t think it’s tougher, no. But we have to get used to playing three games in a row, three games per week," he said. “I have to be smart about changing players, and they have to be ready to be playing one game but not the next." - De Zerbi

Like it a lot. Still not sure about Hoijland and MUN generally though.
You wont want Kabore after GW7 and unless BBing, Id think about balancing out these two positions.

Yeh Kabore will just be bench fodder after 7.
Thee other option in the Hojland spot is Edouard.

Alternatively I could drop all the way down to Archer and get in Trippier.
That would mean playing JWP every week though.

Id go Edouard. Saves you £1.2m which you can use to strengthen Kabore after DGW or elsewhere, including Edouard himself from GW9.

I can nearly get Cash to Trippier with that money. Just 0.3 short.

Don’t understand Hojlund. Other than that, looks pretty good

I’m thinking exactly that except Maddy and Edouard instead of Hojlund and JWP.

As a matter of interest, what’s wrong with your existing team? I’m borderline on WC with the following. It’s not a bad team but want to get rid of some dodgy picks and get ahead of the curve

      Onana ((Turner)
      Estu Bots Udog Chilly Baldock
      Rash Saka Madds Mbeumo Foden
The Norwegian Alvarez the Man in the mirror

        Triple Chelsea
        Pickford and Turner
        Baldock.
        Foden.
        Want Salah,Alvarez,Diaby,Mbeumo,better keepers

That’s interesting. Similar problems. It’s always difficult to time the WC right but I’m starting to think it’s important to move away from poor form teams like Chelsea and get onto the form players, including Salah who is relentlessly consistent

Who's the best 4 mil Luton defender? Bell could fall in price so na. That leaves Andersen or Kabore? Andersen seems nailed bit not in predicted lineups on this site... Kabore has been benched once.

Yes but he just got benched last game to be rested and Lamptey did a fine job. It’s not based off nothing

Im with you bro. Just wondering the odds of Estu, Mitoma, Pedro, Chilwell, Foden and even Alvarez starting this GW. I think Im good for 4/5 out of 6. Toughie tho.

There’s no reason to think that wasn’t just down to jet lag. He’s played 90 mins tonight and wasn’t replaced by Lamptey when he was subbed on . I think he plays. Whether he plays a bit better than this evening and gets a few points is anyone’s
