Who would thank playing a wildcard be so stressful, I'm done I'm settling in this, thank it's a pretty solid team, yea I'm missing Salah and Watkins but feel I'm well covered,

    Turner
    Udogie, cash, taa
    Diaby, son, maddison, Bowen
    Alverez, Nunez, haaland,

    Bench, areola, trippier, Anderson, taylor

I’m on WC as well and I’m pretty similar. Feeling good about TAA instead of Salah with a balanced squad. Allows the likes of Bowen, Nunez, etc. nice team.

    Pickford*
    Cash, Estupiñan*, Udogie
    Salah, Saka*, Maddison, Mbuemo*, Mitoma
    Haaland, Alvarez

    (Turner, Bell*, Botman*, Mubama*)

    With 1 FT + 1.6 itb should I...

    A) Estupinan > Burn / Andersen
    B) Saka > Son
    C) Estupinan + Mbuemo > Andersen + Bowen (-4)
    D) WC (7 starred players moving to 3-4-3 formation)

England boss Gareth Southgate on the inclusion of Bukayo Saka in the squad despite the Arsenal winger going off injured in the Champions League in midweek: "He's still being assessed as they've obviously got a big game this weekend and then there's another seven days before we play Australia and 10 days before we play Italy so everybody will monitor everything as we go forward."

That’s it saka sold for me

Southgate will play him at least one of those games and he will probably end up getting injured again

    1. Shultan

He won't be going with England. Southgate has picked as he's not been declared injured by arteta as he wants to keep city guessing. Once that match played saka will be declared injured

2 home games but England v Australia on Friday 13th Oct. can be avoided so he starts the next.

        If fit.

Pretty good facilities and physios etc at St George's Park too.

Ah ok I didn't realise they were both home games.

I just have gut feeling arteta will declare an injury to Saka after city match so he can have a rest.
Sakas clearly needed to be managed

            You'd think England would co-operate ...

it depends if he's fit enough for Man City really and what happens there...

No need for England not to select him now tho. With Italy in mind.

The Nunez and Salah link up is the main reason you want both. GW8 is no problem for Nunez. From GW9 you will have to deal with his minutes again.

    On a wildcard. Any help?

    A: Lamptey, Longstaff, Salah
    Or
    B: Akanji, Bowen, Saka/Odegaard

B has better options for future changes - A has Salah. Also have Maddison and Son, with Alvarez, Watkins, Haaland up front.

    Turner

Really good. Like the Szoboszlai differential as well, and you can always move him across to Diaby or someone else in that price bracket if it doesn't work.

For a double premium it’s pretty good, but personally I’m preferring having a couple extra higher mid price players. Like Watkins, TAA. But totally get that Salah can be a game changer in the next few.

I like Gordon as a pick after ITB, Botman hopefully back.

If Saka is out (not sure how much money ITB bank) you can get him back GW10/12.

Reposting as lost at the bottom of the previous article.

    WC draft, feedback appreciated:

    Areola Turner
    Cash Porro Burn Lamptey Gusto
    Salah Son Bowen Maddison Chuk
    Watkins Haaland Alvarez

Too top heavy perhaps but I think it works. Keeping Gusto in on the assumption that he gets his place back (and Chelsea fans pls correct me if wrong?).
Main concern is how to engineer a place back in my team for Saka.

Thanks, Reluctant to lose Son, would rather lose Maddison if I had to so one route in I've thought of is Watkins > Darwin possibly to free up funds to do Maddi > Saka. May even start with that anyway as I think people are over rating Villa's next two fixtures.

Darwin is in my current team but a bit concerned with rotation following the next IB. That being said Gakpo is injured which helps his cause.

James may be back after the int'l break putting Gusto's minutes in question. However, it may be worth holding Gusto in case James gets re-injured. I am on WC and have 4.2 available for last defender and am considering him.

Best MF option for the next few GWs (8 -10) out of

    Gibbs-White
    Neto

    For this front eight

    Son Salah Maddison Ward-Prowse xxxxxxxx

    Alvarez Haaland Morris

    Any ideas would be appreciated

Neto 100%. He's been electric at the start of this season.

Both have the fixtures. Probably Gibbs White. On pens and set pieces

Hmm tough one. I'd go Neto: Villa vs Wolves feels quite open and high-scoring. Crystal Palace could frustrate Forest.

Haaland -> Watkins or Foden -> Bowen? Only got 1FT

Not sure I would do either this week, but Foden to Bowen is the better long term move IMO.

Foden not bad, just isn't the greatest FPL pick.

Even if he does, I prefer Bowen.

Already shifted Estupinan (Porro) & Wissa (Watkins) for -4. Would you move out either of Sterling or Saka? Have JWP, Son, & Mbeumo.

Contemplating Sterling to Maddison or Diaz.

Chelsea looked way better without Sterling and Jackson.

So the question will be, does Sterling play?

Yer, it's a concern. I know it was only a illness and not an injury that kept him out last week, but the fact they were much better is a worry.

Diaz back? 😆 I'm still hanging in there!
I like Sterling - Maddison yeah. You're going to have to get rid of him next week if not this one so I'd probably just take the hit personally if you're going to need to make other moves after the IB

Haha I know, I know. I moved him out for JWP for free and as an enabler for Chilwell to Cash, so I'm quite happy with the move.

But I do want him/a Liv attacker now, and I like my front three of Haalvarez & Watkins.

Your point about moving him on anyway is a v good one and what I was gonna do. I was gonna do it this week but Estu was a bigger fire.

Looks like I'm going for the -8.

I guess you're not getting Salah? I'm still really torn on whether to sacrifice Trippier (and go without Saka for a while) in order to upgrade Diaz - Salah. I have Darwin though & may just stick with Diaz & Darwin til GW12 then sell Diaz for Saka

I have no easy way to get him without multiple moves - already (disastrously haha) played WC. I could ditch Haaland for him. Even if it was easy, I'm not convinced by his value (or Haaland's tbh).

You'd think/hope D&D would be enough Liverpool. However, I'm not sure I'd go without Saka for a while - as you're 100% aware, the fixtures from GW9 onwards are great. Sorry, that's basically contradictory haha.

It's a start. I really really want to roll a transfer going into the Inty break, but I can't be having both Botman and Diaby in the sickroom.

    Current WC draft:

    Aréola // Turner
Cash Udogie Burn // Reguilón* Lamptey
    Salah Son Maddison Bowen Diaby*
    Haaland Watkins // Archer

If Reguilón and Diaby are expected back by GW9, I’ll probably go with this and play Archer at Fulham. If not, who should I replace them with?

    Start one:

    A) Mitchell
    B) Burn (no other Newcastle defenders)

    Thoughts on this WC draft?

    Turner Areola
    Cash Lamptey Burn Gabriel Udogie
    Maddison Son Salah Neto Diaby
    Alvarez Haaland Archer

0.9 ITB for Maddison to Saka in a couple weeks

Wanted Watkins or Darwin but can't have them all!

Should start most games but will likely see a little rotation. Very little attacking threat though & I'm not sure BHA defence warrants investing for CS so for me its Estupinan or no-one (maybe Lamptey but he might just end up playing something like GWs 7,8,9
