Which price change site is most accurate? I have been using FPL statistics for a while, but have recently also been looking at Fantasy Football Fix. Have not been paying enough attention recently to who gets it right, but right now the difference is massive. FPL statistics has 8 risers (and counting) tonight, and FFF have zero (Son is almost there).

The latter will be more accurate and build in WC effect, I don’t think fpl stats considers WCs

I think we have to do some guessing with WC affected players on livefpl.

An early season analysis showed FPL Statistics was probably best, but on a daily basis only right about half the time. It was a relatively small sample of GW and the effect of WCs distorts things.

After Luton at home to WHU, which I watched, I said quite a few times that they are going to be a difficult team to play against when playing at home. They will concede goals and probably will be times they do get hammered but for the most part, they are not going to roll over. 4 home games so far with 6 conceded. Not conceding more than 2 in a game as yet at home.

Hence I did not cap Son.

They conceded 5 goals in 3 home games, lost 2 and drew 1. They are useless. They benefitted greatly with the sending off and the fact Spurs 2 best attacking players came off with 15 minutes to go. It is not hindsight, it is just talking utter nonsense. If the sending off didn't happen, they would have got destroyed by more. I only own Madd and Udogie so I didn't mind Son blanking tbh. Captaining was reasonable.

Spurs would and should have battered Spurs I'd they had kept 11 men. They should have been 3 up after 10 mins. Same as last week with Haaland when they destroyed Forrest first half, was a 5-0 waiting to happen before the Rodrigo madness. Captain's picks are mostly luck, partly ballsy and sometimes clever

What a minor emotional FF rollercoaster looks like:

Step 1: play Beyer above Saliba
Step 2: see Chelsea score 4
Step 3: see a flag on Beyer and learn he didn't actually play

Cue Step 4 tomorrow, where Arsenal concede 5 and Saliba gets a red.

Wonder what sort of Haaland performance we'll see tomorrow. Last season at the Emirates he drifted out wide a little at times (to the right) and played extremely aggressively against Gabriel and Saliba, with City launching a lot of high diagonal balls towards him to fight for, and it seemed to unsettle them. But I'd imagine they'll be preparing for that this time. But given he's on a bit of a lean spell by his standards I can see it being a tactic Pep would want to try again

Then I thought for a second and confirmed my assumption that they were ManUtd fans and just ignored it. No issue with backing your own team of course but always feels like with a lot of ManUtd fans I speak to that no matter how things are with them, they seem to think they're on the road to success at all times

He did, and that pleases me as an owner. But don't think there will be many clean sheets at all, so you're basically hoping each week for a goal or assist. Not too comfortable with that

I understand that clean sheets might not be as nice as say arsenal or Man City, but when I see a defender with attacking intent, I’m interested. Estupinan doesn’t play for good defence and he will be owned by the majority I reckon due to his offence.

I’m betting on Porro to at least try to emulate Estupinan in the upcoming fixtures. Maybe over expectation but eh. If I get 1G 1A and 2CS from GW8-10 I’m happy

I like the Schar pick. Seems a bit sideways to move him to Burn unless you literally have no other issues. Yes he hasn't scored mega points like the other defenders but it could quite easily be his turn next. He had decent goal threat last season if I remember rightly.

I've got Gusto back available just in time for Arsenal and the return of James.

I have a Doucoure spot up for grabs, worth it over the likes of Diaby you think?

You don't. They won't play Burnley/Luton every week.

On WC. Which is best ( obviously different formations)

    A) Salah and Palmer(3-5-2)
    B) Maddison and Watkins( 3-4-3)

Watkins plays every game & Maddy is the glue in Spurs B

I’d like to play WC due to all the price increases and decreases but what’s the benefits of keeping and best time to play? 1 FT, 0.1 itb

    Turner
    Udogie Trippier Kabore
    Salah Son Bowen Mitoma Mbeumo
    Haaland Alvarez

    Pickford Estup Mubama Baldock

I wouldn't be wildcarding that. Estupinan to a villa defender and the team looks fine.

Estupi likely to drop tonight? Worth making an early transfer to get another defender in?

Big risk with an international break. You will have two weeks of hoping no one gets injured.
