Should i just accept I cant really bring Salah in next gw? id be ok losing haaland if it was worth it but i cant see how to rejig my mf and fwd to make it clear its worth doing

    ortega, areola
    cash, anderson, trippier, brandwaith, al-dakhil
    son, maddison, saka, mbermo, mitoma
    haaland, watkins, alvarez

    1ft, 0.1 itb

possibly, but Trippier to Lascelles will raise 3m, then Alvarez to Fodder will raise enough i think for Maddi to Salah

For what it’s worth, you’ve got a lot of money on your bench. Perhaps too much. So I like the proposed move above.

my bench is about as bare as its possible to be - a nonplaying 3.9 gk, 2x 4m def and mitoma

Both Mitoma or Alvarez are about 2-2.5 more than the min. To get to Salah, with a more structured team elsewhere, I think you have to sacrifice one of them and not have such strong options from the bench. Otherwise, I’d hold

agree. having 11 strong starters with a terrible bench isnt worth it as we get near to xmas, even if i have salah and haaland. my decent gw ranks this season even without salah were possible because the others are coming to the party. so having 11 decent options (excluding gk) is worth it over 10 strong outfield players but no bench. it also meant when someone was an injury doubt i didnt have to make a rash transfer.

Your team is so strong without Salah I wouldn't worry

Maybe sell 2 midfielders and get a Liverpool mid and a cheapy and play 343 ?

I haven’t had Salah all season and just inside 40k. It’s only one player. I’ve had Diaz the last couple and looking at swapping him for Jota this week.

    2FT and 0.1 itb

    Areola, Sanchez
    Cash, Romero, Tsimikas, Tripp, Taylor
    Son, Maddison, Bowen, Saka, Chukwuemeka
    Haaland, Alvarez, Watkins

Should I bring Salah and sacrifice Tripp and Maddison/Saka ? If yes how :

    A) Maddison, Bowen and Tripp > Salah, Douglas Luiz and Baldock (-4)

    B) Saka, Bowen and Tripp > Salah, 5.6-6.2m mid and 3.8-4.4m défendre

    Thanks all !

did Botman to Lascelles earlier, with a view of maybe getting Nketiah next week for Foster if Jesus is confirmed out for a while, after that move i had 0.8itb so 5.8 when i removed Foster too that's when i noticed i had exact funds for DCL, i know i'm asking for trouble but i just couldn't resist, so Foster to DCL -4 done, i just now hope he stays fit 🙂

    Team 0.3 ITB
    Areola, Turner
    Trippier, Burn, Tsimikas, Cash, Lamptey
    Salah, Saka, Maddison, Bowen, Palmer
    Haaland, Watkins, Palmer

I’d like to get to Son. Three options:
    A. Forget Son. Just hold.
    B. Trippier + Bowen —> Guehi + Son
    C. Burn + Bowen + Maddison —> Lascelles + Mitoma + Son

Is Dan Burn too much of a luxury to have as first bench and should I downgrade him to improve my first eleven, do a sideways move to Tsimikas (have Trippier Cash Andersen) or just hold for the occasional Newcastle defensive double up?

Is Areola (Turner) a good enough combo, or should I upgrade Turner to a better first choice keeper by selling Burn?

a good bench is going to be important with fixture congestion coming, but getting Tsimikas for him is a good idea, I would play Tsimi over Andersen next few and that way you can bench Cash away to Spurs etc

Good question. At least with the mbeumo’s, Bowen, Watkins etc they are talisman who pretty much play 90 mins every game. Yes they might blank 3 games in a row but if you keep patience/pick n stick then you know they will haul for you. Rather than keep dipping in and out and missing out on hauls

So here's the story of the Hurricane....

It's early morning, the sun comes out
Last night was shaking and pretty loud
My cat is purring, it scratches my skin
So what is wrong with another sin?

The bitch is hungry, she needs to tell
So give her inches and feed her well
More days to come, new places to go
I've got to leave, it's time for a show

      Here I am...

    Still deciding on this…

    Maddison to Diaby?!

Don’t like selling Maddison but only way into Villa’s attack.

    Have Son

If you have Son then I'd get Diaby in. Tough though as I think Madders has a higher floor. Lower ceiling though.

I currently have just Maddison and eventually want to double up with Son. I would keep him mate, I’m likely going to move Diaby on after the juicy fixtures end in 2-3 GWs

    Leno (Areola)
    Digne Gabriel Romero (Tarkowski Beyer)
    Mitoma Maddison Salah Diaby (Bowen)
    Calvert-Lewin Haaland(C) Watkins

    1 FT

Going to roll the FT this week but would you change the starters around? Tark v Gabriel // Mitoma v Bowen v DCL

    Thanks.

I cant wait to shift JWP out of this team, I can afford a midfielder up to 8.7m. Saka is the obvious option but I purposefully wanted to avoid him this week v Newcastle.

Will likely drop Alvarez in GW12 and move to 352 as well.

    Areola
    Tsimi Porro Cash
    Salah JWP Maddi Diaby
    Haaland Alvarez Watkins

    Kaminski Botman Kabore Ahamada

Hi guys. Bit frustrating that i bring TAA in the week before Robbo suffers a long term injury. My dilemma is do I move TAA out for Tsimikas? I know it’s probably sideways and I doubt Tsimikas outscores him, but will TAA outscore Tsimikas over 4-5 weeks by enough points to justify the 3.3M difference? That 3.3M is significant, i can do a lot with that. Thanks

I would swap him for Gabriel but Tsimikas not a bad pick for the price.

This was one of the options I was contemplating for this week as I need to free up 0.2 to make another move but have decided against selling Trent just yet. Trent was brought in for his potential explosive upside and Luton is one of the fixtures where Trent is capable of causing damage as they are not great at defending set pieces. It does depend on how the rest of your team looks though and whether you need to 3.3m this week to make the moves. Teams don't have great fixtures this week (apart from City but their next 4 are tougher, and Liverpool) so I'd stick with Trent for a little while longer at least.

Appreciate the response. I think i’m leaning to holding TAA and rolling, can reevaluate next week

    vicario(turner)
    gabriel cash udogie(colwill bell)
    salah bowen mbeumo maddison (nakamba)
    haaland watkins alvarez

I'd do Udogie to Tsimikas anyway. Spurs's fixtures aren't fantastic enough to warrant double defence and it's probably better to get the Liverpool defender in early.

Hi everyone, Sterling to Bowen, Mitoma or Diaby?

Or Sterling, archer to Darwin nakamba for a -4 hit?

    Cheers

Would definitely prefer to bring Darwin in over Bowen, Mitoma and Diaby. May even be worth the -4. If you can stretch Nakamba to become Palmer then even better.

Cheers yeah the Luton game is tempting to get Darwin in. Though he’d have to score one just to break even with Bowen mitoma diaby. Unfortunately only 4.4 left so only get nakamba

It's not just the Luton game but also the games against Fulham(h), Brentford(h), Sheff Utd(a), Palace(a) and Man Utd(h) where Darwin can cause significant damage. He's on red hot form for one of the best attacks in the league, and has returned in every game he's started and still even done well when coming off the bench.

Diaby has a couple of good fixtures left before it gets tougher for Villa, West Ham blow too hot and cold which makes Bowen a bit more riskier, and Mitoma has blanked in 5 of the last 6 and in ice cold form.

Over time Darwin will easily repay the -4 over the other players mentioned.

    A) TAA & Lascelles

    B) Trippier & Tsimikas

Manchester United!!! 😆 It seems there is no replacing Sir Alex. I remember when I used to be scared when my team plays Utd, now I get excited when we face them.

Another defeat last night & Casemiro injured again. From the Board to the fans, it’s an absolute chaos at the club.

Don’t even know why I was considering a Utd defender vs Luton. Luton would probably nick a goal at the death right?

Utter chaos from top to bottom. The only way they will ever have a chance of recovering from their situation is a complete overhaul from the ownership to the players and the manager.

ETH is the least of their problems though. It does not look like he cares what happens to be frank. He probably knows he can't take that club forward with the mess it is in. If he gets sacked, another PL club takes him onboard, easy...

Their situation takes me back to when the banks almost recalled LFC's loans. FSG stepped in and swept clean all the problems. The cowboys were removed, Benitez was removed and there was a clear strategy on getting rid of all the overpaid players and to rebuild the squad and a long term strategy to achieve success. FSG also kept on their promise to rebuild Anfield. Could not ask for better owners to be frank.
