Got 2 FT's and exact money for Saliba and Mbeumo in for Cash and Bowen. Would have to do it tonight though. Worth risking it?

Might as well. Both solid picks and fixtures. Keeping Bowen seems riskier

I went Cash > Saliba just now. Arsenal are good defensively and the fixtures aren’t bad.

      I'd just wait
I'm not convinced Saliba is worth 0.6m more than Gabriel and would rather watch Cash play (surely if he returned, you might want to keep for BOU)

Which do you think is the likely best transfer combo this week? Might need to do some early transfers to avoid being priced out.

    A. Hee Chan > Gordon
    B. Hee Chan + Watkins > Mbuemo + Darwin
    C. A with Diaby > Mbuemo also

Might do Neto to Gordon. Wait and see about the Bowen injury.

1FT. Which option is better ? Was looking to get Mbeumo in for Gordon but just hauled ytd & Bowen injury status.

    a. Gordon + Cash > Mbeumo + 4.7 defender for (-4) hit
    b. Bowen > Mbeumo (FT)

Further, Gordon is a great asset for his price. Cash still has great stats and you can always bench him for the difficult fixtures.

*Trigger warning - bit of a boast*

After GW8 I was on 437 points, 3.5m OR. By a distance my worst ever start in FPL.

Played my WC ahead of GW9 and it's worked out really well. Now on 790 points, 255k OR.

I know 255k is no great flex and probably below average for this site - and I had some luck along the way. But also a reminder this game ebbs and flows and a bad run can become a good one with a couple of well timed transfers (ahem... brought in Zinchenko this week).

I'll shut up now, just posting this here as my mates are all on red arrows and don't want to hear it...

Setting out some food for thought as they say :

    Areola*
    Trippier. Cash* Liveramento*.
Salah (vc). Son . Saka. Palmer Haaland.(C) Watkins. Alvarez*.

Turner. Beyer. Gusto*. Nakamba. . 2ft 0.8 itb

    1) Alvarez to Mubama & Nakamba to Mbeumo.

2ft to get one player in not ideal, but switches to 352, 5th mid spot good also for Gordon/Kudus/Bowen
Leaves c. 0.8 itb for defence upgrades

    2) If Son/Spurs fail tomorrow, then Son to Boomo & Cash to Saliba/Tsimikas/other, 2ft

    3) Son to Boomo & Alvarez to Nunez (FUL) or Isaak (MUN)

Play Cash vs bou, keep 343 with floating 3rd forward spot to target fixtures

Frees up c. 2m in funds for flexibility to upgrade any position

    4) Boom in for Son, sse 2nd FT to change GK to Raya/Leno,

Areola not returning at all, effectively playing with 10 men

    5) Other ? . Dependant on CL/news etc

    1. Make FPL Casual Again
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 10 days ago

      6) Son to Boomo & Nakamba to Gordon (leaves 2m itb) /Bowen (exact money, no money for gk/defence upgrades)

Bench Palmer, unsustainable pens, or Alvarez, not returning

    Haaland, Watkins

There is a lot of circumstantial evidence that yellow/orange flags also impact that price change calculation as these seem to be the players FPL predicts changes for that don’t hit the most.

          *FPL stats

anytime a player is +/- 100 for days it’s nearly always a orange/yellow flagged player.

The fact FPL stats consistently misses on these suggests their is some level of price protection not captured in the FPL stats algorithm

See comments above. FPL Stats just not that accurate this year. Hub didn't predict a drop today

Why are people selling Gordon this week? I am actually looking to bring him in, United at home could be gold

Not sure where you're getting your info from but he's the most traded in mid so far this round

    B) son alvarez bowen > haaland mbeumo gordon (-8)

So good to have Neale back. You don't know what you've got until it's gone.
