Wow. Thought ManU was getting back on track again. Already started regretting slightly to have moved from Onana to Areola a few weeks ago.

Well. I didn't see the game last night just noticed a lot of Onana bashing everywhere else online. Was it really that bad?

I mean, sounds like the perfect opponent for Gordy, Isak.and Tripps. I'm just a bit concerned about their 90 minutes on Tuesday and if Wilson might be back again. Any news on that?

Okay. Just did it. Really clumsy.

But I liked his efforts and how he still jumped when the third goal already hit the net behind him.

Okay, I guess it is a triple up for Newcastle at home then.

He is one of the worst keepers I've ever seen represent a PL team. He was bang average at Ajax, I never really saw any of his games at Inter but read he had improved.

Really doesn't look like he has though.

It's bizarre because he's been pretty decent in the league - most clean sheets and second best for PSxG (joint with Allison). It's like he crumbles if you play the CL anthem before the game.

I don't think United have been decent in the league. Yeah, the stats suggest they are, but watching them play, you wonder how they've jammied all those wins. It's as if the Champ League performances balance out the league ones. At some point, they have to get the results in the PL their form warrants; I'd be giving attacks against United the green treatment and targeting them for sure.

He didn't have to worry about the 4.3mid and why the result would always include an Mbeumo.

I'm currently in the doku over mbuemo.

City obviously more attacking, doku seems to constantly get the ball but the traction is the only risk.

It's a risk as son is probably the best finisher in the league. Son will still tick away.

That's the problem. Can't see 100mio Grealish warming the bench 24/7 over the crunch time in December.

Palmer is nailed, on pens and gets the rest during the week when Chelsea is watching Europaen games on TV.

For me, Doku is the same category as Trossard.

Very tempting but rotation will be more annoying than some potential points. Especially when they come on after 75 minutes for a 1-pointer.

UCL is irrelevant now (for City); no reason Doku has to play in the dead rubber. I'm not claiming he'll start every game but the schedules have evened out

I think it is more likely that Doku gets some minutes on CL level and that Grealish is rested for the PL.

Doku is still behind in the pecking order and eventually more motivated to travel to Serbia in two weeks.

            1. The Mentaculus
              • 4 Years
              2 years, 6 days ago

I don't actually agree with that. Grealish has been pretty poor this season & I think him playing in the rotated UCL side is indicative of him dropping down the pecking order (preserving Doku for Spurs; bringing him & Alvarez on when he needed to turn the gane around). Of course we can't really say for sure with Pep but I think Doku has shown enough in recent performances

The lack of clarity on Bowen is annoying. Need to decide if it's Bowen or Diaby out for Mbuemo.

That's why I'd get rid. Midweek game it's too much to gamble.on injuries

      Same, already have Mbuemo
May give Diaby this week, Bowen out if theres still uncertainty over Bowen

Never going to get clarity from Moyes anyway. By Sunday he won't have played a minute for 3 weeks so I can't see him starting even if available so he's gone for me

    Hey all,

    Any suggestions here?

    0.7 ITB - 1FT

    Turner - Areola
Trippier, Gabriel, Tsimikas , Guéhi, Taylor
    Salah, Saka, Bowen, Palmer, Nakamba
    Haaland, Alvarez, Watkins

Could go Bowen to Martinelli or just spare the FT?

      Mbuemo another option?

If you can cover the blank.

Looks great, with that team I’d go Areola to Raya

Morning, do these seem good transfers?

    Areola

    Saliba / Anderson / Cash

    Salah / Gordon / Son / Bowen* / Diaby

    Alvarez / Haaland

    Leno / Udogie / Botman* / Archer

    Thinking:
    Botman > Lascelles
    Bowen > Saka
    Diaby > Mbeumo……all for a -4?

Wait until the pressers, as would keep Bowen if fit

This is my current team, would you roll transfer, or transfer out Bowen?

    Johnstone
    Gabriel | Guehi | Livramento
    Saka | Bowen | Salah | Son | Mbuemo
    Watkins | Darwin

Areola / Alvarez / Ait Nourri / Branthwaite

    What should I do??
    A) Play Archer vs BUR
    B) Play Taylor vs SFU
    C) Play neither and take a -4 to get Palmer in place of Eze
